Mary, Sarah, Branden, and Rosellen make this place phenomenal. Attentive to guests, committed to great cuisine, fabulous wines and drinks to be had by all. This place should by synonymous with "Hood River Hospitality." A must for gorge goers. More...

Awesome in every way! The owner and her daughter make everything from scratch and they use local, fresh produce! Their freshly baked breads and desserts are amazing! Great variety of wines from the local wineries as well as craft beers, ciders, and ales! Lovely and relaxed atmosphere with a nice size outdoor patio area...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! More...

This little gem hidden away on Wescliff Drive was overlooked by us in past visits to Hood River, despite the life-size buffalo standing guard in front of the restaurant. But not this time! Husband and I had a weekend getaway at the Wescliff Lodge and were given a voucher for dinner at any of the establishments listed. Since White Buffalo was a two-minute stroll from our room, we figured we’d take a chance. Husband had a buffalo burger with egg and bacon, cooked perfectly. I had the pesto tortellini. It was delicious!! The veggies were tender but not mushy and the sauce was amazing, and not too rich. We were very pleased with the experience and will definitely add this place to our list of regulars to visit next time we’re in town! The only thing that would have made the evening better was to have Keystone Light among their canned beer options. Just kidding, it was still terrific! More...

Eat and have wine here every chance you get! All cooking and baking is from scratch. The kitchen is run by a lovely woman with great energy who is an amazing chef and Baker. Her daughter, who is a wonderful chef in her own right, is working there doing the same great job. The staff? They are genuinely gracious and knowledgeable. This is one restaurant that walks its talk, and buys from local farms and orchards and supports the local economy. They live here, work here, and are a part of the community in every way. Outstanding! More...

Great food and a great atmosphere. The owner if usually working and is very nice! Be sure to stop by on Thursdays: there is live music and a local vineyard brings four to eight wines and gives free wine tasting! The brie bites are a delicious starter. More...
