Hotel is beautiful and rooms are well-appointed and comfortable. Conference facilities first rate. Very attentive staff. Nice restaurant just off the conference hall. Grounds very pretty. Adjoining casino is old and very smoky; buffet unimaginative, a notch above Golden Corral. Thankfully, they are in process of building a brand new casino. More...

While the location is a bit in the outskirts, it is lovely. They are currently undergoing a major renovation/expansion, everything is SO CLEAN! !!!! Normally there would be construction dust and noise, but it has been fantastic here. The food at the hotel restaurant is great. The STAFF- OMG, it has been a long time since I've stayed somewhere where EVERYONE has been so friendly, customer oriented, helpful, mindful, professional, . you get the picture. I am not a gambler and certainly can't handle the smoke in the Casino, so it made it impossible for me to eat at the other restaurants in the Casino. They say "non smoking section", but you have to still walk through the casino and there are no real barriers between the casino and restaurants. Therefor I smelled like an ashtray after just 5 minutes of walking through to check out the restaurants there; needless to say, I didn't go back to any of them. My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I had lovely views of the surrounding hills and mountains. I was attending a conference. The conference facility was very nice and I loved the access to the outdoor patio and the surrounding walking paths and landscaping. Everything is nicely decorated and designed to be modern, yet it blended nicely with the surrounding area, both inside the hotel and outside. They offer a shuttle to a local Target and Fountain Hills shopping/restaurant center. UBER was about $25 to get to Old Town Scottsdale. Supershuttle and UBER worked well for SKYHarbor Airport. Good and bad. We came here to the resort for the 1st time today to get a massage. The hotel was way more beautiful than I was expecting. but you need to teach your masseuses a thing or 2 about giving massages. the girl wouldn't even touch my feet, and she didn't massage my hands. and I had to ask her to massage the back of my legs. unbelievable!!! if Im going to pay all that money for a massage, she better do my entire body and not be scared. you can't be in this business and not want to touch certain body parts on people, that is just ridiculous. I will not ever be back for a massage. More...

Best staycation ever!Hotel rooms are comfortable, quiet, with great blackout curtains for sleeping late. Nice chairs and good lighting if you want to sit and read a book. Food is really good, and the restaurants reasonably priced. Close enough to town to be convenient, far enough away to feel like you're really on vacation. Helpful, friendly staff, who are happy to answer any question you may have. The roaming coffee and water servers are everywhere, and we never had any trouble tracking one of them down.None of this, however, matches the fun and excitement of the best AZ casino I've visited! We started winning right away, and didn't stop playing until late at night. We only stopped because we were too tired to keep going -- NOT because we ran out of money. We WILL be back, and probably bring along a friend or two. Maybe we'll even get into the pool. Next time, I'll be sure to remember to try out the bathrobe! That's an unexpected benefit, for sure... Came here for a massage. Bought a Groupon for my parents and my self. You do need to pay gratitude, it's about $16 a person. Definitely different then other hotels I went too. They don't have a locker room or robe or slippers. So bring your one shoes for the pool. You carry your stuff to the pool & in the room where you get your massage. You change in the massage room. We were late but glad they fit us in their schedule cause we tried calling in before but no one answered. My massage was great. Definitely hit the points that needed it. My parents wanted harder pressure but didn't receive it. I thought mine was hard pressure or maybe I'm just fragile. We got to go to the pool. The big pool with water running was so cold. There's a smaller one that isn't that cold. There's 2 jacuzzis. There's a bar outside. They gave us drink tickets and $5 off food or beverage from the bar. More...

My husband and I LOVE this place. in the past 3 years we have come about 15 times. The staff at the hotel remembers us, the bartenders in the casino remember us. The rooms are clean. there is a resort fee and it is disclosed at booking and check in. Ask for promotions. We ask for early check in and 90% of the time it is available but we dont expect it. pool service is available but not all year round. They do add gratuity to your bill BUT open a tab and pay once at the end. We have asked for the supervisors cards if we want to pre order and they are responsive and accommodating. The resort is under construction but has not been a distraction. For those who complain about the walking distance there are golf carts that will pick you up. We have only eaten at the resteraunt a handful if times because there are 5 places to eat in the casino and you don't have to play. Each accommodates everyone's taste. we go for the live music. We look ahead on their website so we know who is playing. Twice we became groupies to the bands. You can dance and we have made so many friends.. They have a huge bingo room. We aren't huge gamblers so whent we do play we have fun! You make your own experience. Even if it's busy we aren't the only ones there and each time the staff has always listened to our concerns. The staff at the resort is not the staff at the casino so you do have to ask the appropriate staff at the facility you are in your questions. Beautiful and quiet resort with a great views! We did do the desert segway tour once which was phenomenal. We also RESPECT the natives. This is their land and they have their own guidelines, rules and expectations. So if you are looking for a Hilton, go to a Hilton. Love the amethyst spa, massage facials and relaxation. It's worth the money and we have made so many life long friends I wouldn't change anything. we are ordinary people, nothing fancy just like to get away. More...

Was here earlier this month for a work conference. Hotel is nice. Kinda far from downtown Scottsdale and Old town, but nice quiet hotel to stay at. They did have construction going on but that didn't stop me from enjoying the wonderful views. Nice pool they have. If you like quiet, this is the place to stay. More...

Went with my boyfriend for his birthday. Was really fun. The restaurant had good food as well. The casino was fun too, they were remodeling for a bigger casino I think so It was a little confusing trying to find where everything was but the people there were so nice and helpful! The pool was so big and the hot tub was great. Would definitely go there again. More...

Check in early! We tried checking in at 9am and they gave us a room, considering it was a busy weekend(labor day). The receptionist, Julie, was super helpful and detailed. We loved our stay. Rooms are clean and had a good view of the pool and mountains. This is more like a family hotel given they have pool nights and a DJ at 3 in the afternoon! But it was all good and fun for the nightly rate. I like the casino, they give you $15 per person to use. I won thrice (small amts) but way better experience and luck than i had in vegas. Quick trip but worth the drive.Free parking and valet! I have to say , i never had an issue with our valet. Everyone was so nice and accommodating, never had to wait long. More...

My wife and I love going here to get away from it all for a day or two. This Labor Day weekend was no different. Unfortunately during our stay the overhead sprinkler system in the unoccupied room next door tripped and flooded rooms on two floors. We found ourselves displaced for a few hours but, Rick, the hardest working manager who seems to oversee everything, took care of us! He helped assuage our anger and really made the best of an otherwise bad situation. He was very attentive and made us feel comfortable at every turn. We'll be back! More...
