Describe your creative process.
It always depends on the project and the client. Generally, the process involves questions and answers, trial and error and working with clients' needs as well as goals to achieve the highest level of success for each project.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
It depends on the project. For instance for a brand identity, I need to know what their vision of it is. I need to know its use, and the market demographic, as well as whether it will conform or rebel against industry standards in that arena. Then I need to know style and color preferences. After that, it's on me.
What do you love most about your job?
Problem solving, and collaboration with interesting, intelligent and dynamic people.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always worked as a sole proprietor, except for a brief partnership. I prefer to work with various partners, as the need arises and service clients on a one-to-one basis.
