Im so glad my now husband and I decided to have Rev. Mooney marry us. My pre-wedding nerves were intense, but he would always send me wonderful and funny texts to make me laugh and relax about the wedding day. Rev. Mooney and his Wife are amazing! I saw numerous places to elope but Rev. Mooney stood out to me. I sent him a text message he replied immediately. We made last minute arrangements and he was still able to make our day very personal and intimate for us and our family. My now wife (Julie) and I had a wedding scheduled for October 15, 2016. After scouring the internet to locate a minister, Rev. Michael Mooney caught her eye. My wife and I have our own religious beliefs and one of our stipulations was that we wanted a traditional minister that conducted traditional marriages only.

Julie contacted him via e-mail and very shortly afterward, he e-mailed back and we set up an appointment to meet him and for him to meet us.

The meeting went smoothly. We both felt as though it was like an interview for him to get to know us more so than us to know him. Towards the end of the interview, we decided that he was definitely the one to officiate our ceremony. Rev. Mooney was extremely personable, friendly and just a well rounded person.

Fast forward to our wedding day. Rev. Mooney arrived and quickly began to give me an overview as to how the ceremony would progress. Being that Julie is Native American, she while a Christian, wanted to incorporate some native traditions into our ceremony. Rev. Mooney was open to the idea and was completely cooperative. I gave him a brief overview as to what the traditions were and such just so there wouldn't be any surprises and he would know what to expect.

Rev. Mooney's service was absolutely beautiful and it's something Julie and I will remember for the rest of our lives. He was a class act, professional, courteous and actually accepted our invitation to stay for the reception,

In lieu of a wedding book, we had all the attendees sign a matte that was going to be framed around our wedding photo. He graciously accepted my request that he sign the matte as well.

By the end of the ceremony/reception, Rev. Mooney was practically a member of our family and not one person there had anything to say that would reflect negatively on Rev. Mooney or the service that he provided. The words "beautiful", "elegant" and "exemplary" were used by many of our friends and family when describing the service.

In closing, I now consider Rev. Mooney a dear friend and we highly recommend him as an officiate. If anyone is thinking of using Rev. Mooney, please feel free to contact me to discuss this further even though I think what I've said here should be enough.

SO thankful we used Rev. Mooney for our ceremony, which was very last minute! He was very responsive to e-mails, worked so amazingly with our last minute scheduling and also offered a photography option, which was very affordable and VERY convenient. Rev. Mooney really made this a great day. He was a lot of fun and he made it like he had been knowing my family and I for years. We had the wedding at his office and he was enough room to hold all 10 of us and that included Rev. Mooney. He had lots of jokes to even make some of the toughest of our family members laugh. The pictures that came with the package was a good variety for us to choose from to print out. This did not feel like an elopement at all. It really felt like an actual small wedding ceremony.
