I came to see Victoria at the Washington Institute because I was having sinus pain and swelling of my face. She recommended homeopathics for swelling and lymphatic drainage massage. Just after one session of the lymph drainage I felt much better. The hoempathics were also a great benefit. I highly recommend Victoria. She is very kind and caring. More...

I have been dealing with chronic fatigue and exhaustion. I did a search on the internet and found Dr. Shelley at the Institute. I have also had  Insomnia off and on. After meeting with Dr. Shelley she recommended a homeopathic for my thyroid, sleep, and cleansing of my liver.  My energy has gotten better and I can do more of my daily chores.  I am looking forward to seeing more improvement. I am so happy to find natural therapies that can help me. More...

My first massage from Dr. White was amazing. I had been living with pain in my shoulder for a month and battling issues with my hips. After one session, I can feel a difference. My shoulder feels better, and thanks to Dr. White's knowledge of anatomy, I have a better sense of my hip issue. Dr. White is knowledgeable and personable; if my friends are looking for a massage therapist, I will definitely recommend Dr. White. More...

I'm a person who doesn't normally take the time to write reviews, but I had to weigh in on this one. I took classes here in Acupressure and I just want to say that I struck a gold mine when I found the Washington Institute of Natural Medicine. The classes were taught by Linda Khanzetian, a Doctor of Natural Health. Dr. Linda is an excellent teacher. I could not have asked for a better teacher than someone with her background and level of experience. She's thorough, patient, and answered most of my questions before I could even ask them.  The wisdom that she shared I could not have discovered in a book on the subject or picked up from instructional videos. More than anything, her passion for the natural healing arts came through loud and clear. To say the least, it inspired me and further motivated my desire to practice Acupressure. At the conclusion of the classes, I understood a lot and felt like I received what I needed to pursue this area of the healing arts. I should also mention that I found the spa setting there to be very conducive to learning. More...

Even though I am a geek and don't believe much unless I can see or touch it, I have to say the Washington Institute has made me a strong believer in the natural methods that they offer. Most recently, I have had neuro therapy on my back and find very little pain in doing the things I have always been doing. With that, I take an herb for arthritis in my fingers. This herb keeps the pain in my fingers away much longer than the pills prescribed to me by my arthritis doctor. More...

Every colonic that I have received until now was performed in the basement of someone’s home. I am glad that there is now a professional upscale facility designed to complement this holistic modality. It has made my experience more satisfying than could have ever imagined. More...

I have been into sports all of my life, and have experienced my share of injuries as well as surgeries. Now that I am well into my adulthood, I attempt to stay active by participating in weekend sports. Now I experience chronic muscle soreness in my lower back and hip areas. I was seeking a massage therapist who is knowledgeable of the human anatomy and muscle functions. I surfed the net and found Robert White at the Washington Institute of Natural Medicine. He not only worked the soreness away on the first visit; he also performed a postural analysis on me that illustrated where the possible source of my soreness and pain was originating. Robert advised me on the proper footwear to use, and offered me a stretching regiment. I now feel more agile and flexible without soreness or pain. I highly recommend Robert. More...
