Warrior 1 has been such a great experience for me! For starters, I used to HATE spin. I tried it a couple times other places and was not a fan. I decided to give it another shot, this time at Warrior 1, since I had gotten a membership. As with any gym, you find instructors you like and instructors you don't really care for. Georgia and April are by far my FAVORITE instructors! They have really contributed to my (now) passion and addiction for spin! April is intense and will kick your butt the entire class. Georgia has this fire and energy that makes you want to push harder and give her more. The restore yoga classes are also a fave of mine and Lori is amazing over at the Calloway location! But spin is where I've really found my happy place and I owe it to Georgia and April! :) More...

It's sad that it took these guys getting attacked by their neighbors for me to remember to review them. Sorry, yogis!!! Warrior 1, no exaggeration, changed my life. My mind is at peace and my body is strong. I joined during my losing battle with infertility, which doesn't feel like such a loss now. If you are scared of the heat, don't be. If I can do it, you can too.Just wanted to post an update some months down the road as things can change with seasons and staff. I'm still loving Warrior 1! Dana (the sweet and veteran owner) and Donovan are both great for teaching inversions and balances--something I think, understandably, many instructors are intimidated to teach. Marissa teaches lovely flows and always offers yummy essential oils. Michelle has great flows too. Lindsay teaches a super fun and super challenging (haha!) barre class. April and Heather kick your butt in the best way! I know this is lengthy, but I don't want to leave anyone out bc so much heart is poured into this studio. The ladies in operations are also the sweetest and keep the place looking and smelling fabulous. I hope this helps anyone looking to become a member at a yoga studio locally Kind of a bummer that I just updated this 5 star review 20 days ago, but I'm exasperated by a staff member who always seems to single me out to be rude. I don't want to name her bc that's not nice, but I have no idea what her problem is with me--maybe it's just my face! But I've tried really hard to break the ice with her, and I'm over it. So much so, I think I'll be leaving this otherwise stellar studio. Cliques aren't cute, girlfriend! More...

$10 Sunday hot yoga beginner class. Whoo! I am in!6 of us braved the 103 degree room for an hour and left all our troubles at the door. Meditation and breathing. Stretching and strengthening that core. Sweating and drinking lots of water. (Tip - bring frozen water bottle or reusable bottle full of ice)I liked it! I was not sure how I would have felt about hot yoga as I much prefer dry heat to wet heat.It was busy enough but we stayed towards the back of the room as newbies.Changing was not a problem in the bathroom there. I even saw a shower in there.Lockers, YES..bring your own lock. The room was nice and dim for relaxation purposes.I brought my own yoga mat but there are some there and there is disinfectant spray.I found the place to be clean as a whole. The instructor was passionate, energetic and engaging.I would return again for another class of any kind.I would love to try the Spin class.Easy to check classes out on their app.The clothing in front of shop all looked amazing and if they had not been closing for the night after our class, I would have likely bought some. This location is great for me so I will return soon! Great alternative from the same ol, same ol at the gym. Thanks, Maria N for this suggestion for all of us to get together and go!!!! More...

There's something special about businesses run by the sweetest people around! Dana (the owner) has hired a great team of instructors and front desk girls that make even just showing up to class enjoyable! The instructors each have their own style so I recommend coming to classes with a few different ones and I know you'll find one you like! Some are more about the mind, others are about form, some are more fun, but all of them are an experience I recommend you partake in! I've never come to a class and left feeling like I needed more. If anything, I'm pushed to be the best yogi I can, even as a beginner. The room is heated for most classes (check the schedule for non-heated classes too) and I love that because it lets me push myself juuust a little more and really get a good stretch during each pose. My flexibility is really reaching new levels and I'm so grateful! This studio doesn't only host hot yoga though! They also have a spin room! You guys, TAKE A SPIN CLASS and slowly die with me for a few minutes hahaha. The spin classes are a great form of cardio without hurting your knees and joints like running does. Do it. Hate it for a while. Then love the results! You'll be back for more! They also have cryotherapy, a body scan that can help you track your progress, and a laser-lipo machine! Plus, some merch available for purchase including yoga clothes, mats, water bottles and so much more! I can tell that there are a lot of regulars, and I can't blame them. The classes are phenomenal and you can tell they're becoming great friends! Can you believe some people do back to back classes!!!! !?! I'd pass out haha but I'm only a beginner loving my yoga journey here. I definitely recommend Warrior 1 Yoga and spa! 100%. For sure! No doubt about it! Try a Sunday class for only $10 and you'll be a member in no time! More...

I bought the 21 day intro for 40$ My 1st time coming the front desk was a little rude I went up to her and asked for help but was ignored 2 times before I got her attention. I did a cycling class with Donovan/ on the app it said the class was full but only 3 people showed up so instead of a 45min class we only got a 30min class. The music was so loud I couldn't hear the instructor and he kept dropping his iPad on the floor, didn't sweat much but it was okay we received a cold towel soaked in Lemon grass but honestly it smells like it's soaked in cleaning chemicals. My second time here I took hot yoga with April, the class was over full it took ten to fifteen mins to start because there was a glitch with the app letting 2 many people in, although it was easy to check in on the iPad at the front desk, it was 1hour long and music wasn't 2 loud and instructor was very good with giving instructions people are friendly in the class. It is a very small facility but it is still on the higher end side because a limited about of people go to this gym so you aren't crowded with people like planet fitness and 98% of customers are female I will be updating every time I go but i will not be extending my membership here as you are paying per class, it is 10$ -20$ per session and almost 200$ for just one month of classes and I attached the class prices to my review as well. They have a very nice bathroom and shower they offer shampoo/conditioner and a clean towel. The parking lot is big but do not lock your valuables in your car as there have been multiple thefts. They offer free lockers to put your things into so that is a plus and a shoe rack for your shoes while you take a yoga class Also if you want to cancel a class it has to be 6hrs before or you are charged 15$ per class that you want to cancel. (The weight scale in the bathroom is broken ) More...

I'm a complete newbie to yoga. Took a hot restorative class for beginners with Dana H. to see if it might help with my back pain and overall declining flexibility. Best decision I've made in years. Used the app for booking the first session and it was seamless and easy. Pause for a 4-class block at the same time. I was made to feel very welcome, the workout was amazing, the facilities outstanding, and I felt better physically than I have in years. I'll keep going as long as I can, and I'm looking forward to feeling better and better as I go. More...

Clean, nice environment, and affordable. It was only $10 for an hour. First time trying yoga, not to mention hot yoga. I was worried I'd feel self conscious and not be able to keep up. That was not the case at all. Studio was dim and comforting. The ambiance was soothing. I wasn't focused on being self conscious at all. The instructor was consistent and easy to follow. She gave great instructions including letting beginners like me know that if we felt comfortable we could move to the next step, or hold the pose we were in and that would be perfectly fine. The pace was one I was able to keep up with. I've never sweat so much in my life. It felt great. I'm definitely looking forward to attending again. If you want to try and don't have a mat, they have mats, blocks, and straps available to use. More...

Between her and Dana, I feel challenged every week in new and exciting ways! I look forward to going to Kelsi’s classes every week, and look forward to going to yoga every day! Warrior 1 yoga has become like a little home away from home, and the staff are like family. They have tons of variety in class type, so there’s something for everyone. But seriously! Check out Kelsi’s classes, they’re the best and she’s the sweetest, most kick butt instructor! I’m so happy to have found this place! More...

A couple of friends and I went for hot yoga the class, instructor, and lemon grass towel (hahah) was awesome. The only down side was they number the spots so we were all split up around the room. Another thing the front desk people were not very friendly at all it almost seemed like you were inconvencing them by asking questions or even just trying to pay for your class. More...

I love Warrior 1! At first I was just going strictly for the yoga classes because I would do my other things at the gym. I tried out some of the other classes and fell in love with them. I love doing the 25 minute spin class followed by the BUTI yoga or hot flow class. The restore classes are also amazing when you need some recovery. I love the atmosphere and heated room. The workouts are so much fun and I've gotten better results doing these classes than when I was lifting weights at the gym plus this is so much more fun that I hardly ever go to the gym anymore. All the instructors are awesome, but Dana and Kelsi are my favorite! More...

Amazing place... it meets you where you are in your fitness level. Two years ago after surgery and other life events I gave up on exercise and healthy eating. I was feeling terrible and had gained a lot of weight. I walked into the studio intimidated by exercise. Lindsay encouraged me to give it a try and after a month I was feeling better. After 3 months I had the stamina I needed for a 17 day trip to Uganda.I also lost 25 lbs with a combination of yoga and better eating.Rochelle is great for building strength and balanceApril works you very hard.Wendy will have you dripping sweatKelsi is great at teaching form and is so encouraging. I'm so glad my friend asked me to attend a hot yoga class with her at the Stockdale location, I love it here. I've been wanting to try something new as a workout alternative since I've been battling shin splints and I'm happy that I tried Hot Yoga our. My instructor was April for my hot yoga class and she was a great instructor. She planned great exercises that were coordinated with music that kept me going. They do have discounts for their various workout packages. Various amounts discounted and they also offer some of the packages that do no require a contact. The Hot Yoga class I attended was $8. They are the $8 classes every Sunday listed. You are able to see and purchase the class/ products packages, and even sign up for individual classes, through the app for Warrior 1. I was impressed with the clean facilities and great merchandise they provide there. Also the refreshing cold towel scented with lemongrass. I will be a repeat client! More...
