We have taken our little sweet french bulldog to Wags in Tigard for well over a year now. The owner of wags called us today to inform us that our sweet little dog will no longer be allowed to go to wags because they have too many dogs now and that our dog likes to play too much and it's too much work for them, they would rather have five dogs that don't like to play than 1 dog that does so they are hand selecting certain dogs to cut from the roster. You would think that the fair thing to do would be to cut out newer members. The whole reason we pay to have our dog go is to interact and play with other dogs. My Mom raves about this and this is the highlight of her day is the joy it brings our dog to go play. This man literally had my senior mother in tears over this for the entire day she is so heartbroken because her sweet dog looks forward to play time with his friends and his favorite human people gal at wags who happen to not be there the past two weeks. We are excellent customers too and very appreciative, even giving holiday gifts for the fur babies and humans. Its just unbelievable. More...

We are also very sad that Wags isn't a great fit for your pup and we will miss him. We love him very much and worked for a year with him and your family to make the situation tenable. To be clear the issue is not that your dog likes to play. He has impulse control problems in playgroups and can push other dogs until it escalates into a fight. We have worked with him and your family on a significant number of remediation strategies, including: - Assigning a dedicated Handler to be with him for up to two hours before introducing him into playgroup to attempt to mitigate his energy - Providing his own play yard and enrichment activities - Creating a custom schedule for him in the facility when he would be most successful in light of his issues Our job is to create a safe and enriching environment for all of our customers. We felt that we could no longer accommodate this with his continued struggles that could lead to aggression issues with other dogs, and we can't allocate a portion of our facility to a single dog. Without a doubt, this was an incredibly difficult decision for our staff as we are all very attached to him and his larger than life personality. As I explained today, we are working on additional offerings to accommodate dogs with struggles like his, and I offered up alternative services in the area that would be a better fit. We wish your family and pup the best. We are working on crafting additional services in the future to make it possible for him to return so he can be successful, even if that is not in a traditional daycare setting.

Wags is amazing! We have taken our dog to several other dog daycares/hotels, and Wags is the absolute best! They made us feel completely comfortable leaving our dog with them for the day or even overnight. Even though our dog has major anxiety, he seemed so happy when we picked him and dropped him off. He has never acted excited going to daycare..that says a lot about not only this facility, but also the staff! They listen to your concerns, and they make sure that your pup is comfortable, safe, and having fun! Keep up the great work! More...

Daisy (Labrador) loves going to Wags!  She knows exactly where we are going st certain points on the drive there. Their concierge salon services are wonderful. Daisy gets yucky ears after being at the beach or lakes and Wags is always on top of getting the gunk out so we can finish at home treatment. Their staff is nothing short of kind and sweet. I love the fact there is Saturday services so we can get chores and such done and know daisy is getting all the playtime she deserves. My only wish list would be to have interactive cameras on your website so me who is at work all day, can check in and see how she's doing. More...

We've only been here a handful of times so far but have had a great experience each time. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly love dogs! Parking is adequate. Location is convenient and easy to get to. They have a great combination of things the dogs can jump up on, go through, climb on, etc. The is an "outdoor" area. When we pick or dog up, she is SO exhausted from playing so hard. She can barely keep her eyes open on the way home. She has the best time. I try to sneak in and peek through the window to watch her and she's always having fun. I recommend! More...

We love Wag's Pet Resort and their staff.  They are always so friendly and clearly care about the dogs that come to visit.  They do everything from basic dog daycare to spa services and overnight boarding.  Our pup is so excited to go and is happily exhausted at night.  I was walking my dog one day, and she suddenly started pulling me up a hill. I thought she saw a squirrel but she had caught the scent of Cassie, the owner of Wag's.  Our dog LOVES her!! That detail alone would make this worth it, but add in all the extras and huge emphasis on positive reinforcement training and you really can't beat this place. More...

So happy with Wags in ALL aspects! The facility is always kept neat, odor free, and the dogs have a nice outdoor area to get some fresh air. The staff is absolutely amazing with their customer service and just giving my dog endless love and making sure they are safe most importantly. (They also post pictures on Instagram and Facebook almost daily and I catch a glimpse into my pups day which is awesome) My dog is always so happy when we pull Into the parking lot because he knows he's about to have a blast with his friends and I leave feeling great/ worry free! We've been taking our dogs to Wags for over a year now and are super happy still. We've boarded them for multiple days, and take them to daycare. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly, and they're great at dealing with my dog who can have a bit of an attitude - still letting him play, but keeping everyone else happy! More...

Did a good job. I did tell them my dog does not like getting haircuts and is difficult when trimming nails, the lady told notes and said all would be fine. I picked up my dog , he looked great. Though the nails were not grounded and still felt jagged. The receptionist also took a long moment to tell me how inpatient and a little difficult my dog was and tried really hard to upsell me on dog day care the whole time. Don't tell me what I already explained to you before the cut, I see you trying to guilt trip me into a bigger tip. More...

I cannot express how much I love this place. The prior daycare/boarding facility we had our dog at, he would just run back and forth and not really play with any dogs (they had cameras so you can see the dogs, which I checked quite often because I love my baby boy! ). I think it was because he wasn't very comfortable there. He is such a different dog at Wags! He plays hard with all the dogs and actually sits and relaxes (Skye sends pictures ). I always get really nervous when we have to leave him for boarding and Skye is always amazing in responding to my emails checking in on him. He's even comfortable enough to be a cuddle bug with the folks there as well. What I love most about this place is he gets to be out and about to socialize and play with the other dogs attending daycare while he's being boarded. We highly recommend this place!! More...

So happy with the new groomer at Wags, Michael, and the haircut he gave our labradoodle! We have tried a few different places, but the value and quality of the cut has never been right - either I've had to leave my dog for hours in a place where I can only assume he ends up spending most of the day in a kennel, or the quality of the cut has been hit-and-miss. Michael listened to my requests, offered his input, and did an amazing job - our doodle has never looked quite so handsome! He was ready on time and looking great. The fact that he loves coming to Wags to play is such a bonus too - I can book him in for a groom and playtime on the same day, so despite having to endure a salon experience he can also have a fun day playing with his friends. We use Wags on a regular basis and will continue to do so - both for daycare and grooming! Excellent service, with such caring and skilled staff. Thank you! More...

I just brought 2 of my dogs in for grooming. They were dirty, matted and hadn't been groomed in several months because I have had a hard time finding really good groomers. My vets office gave me a brochure for wags so I thought I would try them.  I can't tell you how happy I was with the service. The groomer came out looked them over thoroughly and went over everything with me. I talked about issues with past groomers. ( un even cuts, razor like burn on stomach, overclipped ears ) When I picked them up they were beautiful. The cut was consistent through out and the dogs were happy. He gave me several thoughts on tear stained eyes and keeping them clean. I set up the next grooming appt.  While there I watched the daycare dogs hanging out. They seemed like they were enjoying things. I haunt tried boarding but it's on my list. Highly recommended More...

Our dog has been to several daycares and boarding facilities, for days and overnights. He is social and lovable. Wags staff easily could describe his personality by the end of the evaluation time. After not trusting another overnight space, we wanted to try wags and have not been disappointed. He has stayed twice and is thrilled to go. He comes home exhausted (hard to do with our high energy pup) and happy (he clearly adores the staff), exactly what we wanted. More...

Our dogs love Wags and the staff. They are always excited to go there and play with their puppy friends! While many other daycares rejected our dogs based solely on breed (without even any evaluation or interaction) Cassie and her team not only welcomed our dogs, but spend time and put so much effort working with them to get them adapted to the new environment. Thanks to them, we can both go to work with the peace of mind knowing our dogs are safe, happy, and loved in good hands. Thank you Wags! :) More...

Our pups arrive excited and leave happy and tired.  The owner Cassie is nothing short of Angelic and her staff is as equally as kind and supportive.  They have gone above and beyond just caring for our dogs for the day.  They have nurtured and embraced our babies individual personalities even when one can sometimes be a little stubborn.  I feel confident leaving our fur babies in their care.  We love you Wags More...

While they're there you can have your dog bathed, have their nails trimmed and so much more. Dogs aren't kenneled all day, they are free to run around and have fun with their new friends. Plus there's separate play areas for small and large dogs, or even just for dogs who are more chill. Wags is Awesome, you're gonna love it as much as your dog will! More...

We love Wags Pet Resort in Sherwood, Oregon! For seven years, I've had at least one dog in daycare and it's been a learning experience. Finding a great dog daycare can be a challenge, but we've done it! I love the hours at Wags; drop off at 6:30am and pick up by 6:30pm. This is huge! For 12 hours my dogs can run and play and they come home exhausted--so exhausted, the little one doesn't bother my socially challenged dog (who cannot attend daycare. The owner and her staff are friendly and helpful and understanding when I'm scrambling with leashes, harnesses and payments at drop off. Wags also posts pictures and videos on their Facebook account, I love this because I can see what my buddies are doing. I feel like they've been really good with communication, which is really important to me. My socially challenged dog was asked not to return to another daycare, without warning--at the time, I had no idea she was unfriendly with other dogs. Altogether, we're extremely impressed with Wags. Wags is clean, bright, has great toys and I know my dogs are having a blast and getting the very best care. Thanks Wags! More...

Great new doggy daycare (and boarding) in Sherwood!  I have a St. Bernard and we have already been to Wags for doggy daycare and boarding.  Great open and airy facility with lots of room for the dogs to run and play.  I was so impressed with the first few visits that I already purchased a 20 day pass!  The owners of this business also have a true passion for dogs and have been involved with dog rescue organizations.  Check out Wags!  You will be glad you did. Brand new business in the area! We've been waiting for something like this, too! It's reasonable and the facility is clean. ..and the owner loves dogs! I brought my two dogs there (40 lb terrier mix... and a 12 lb doxipoo) for opening day... and they had a blast. Lots of other dogs to play with, and plenty of space. Wags did a prescreening/interview of each visiting dog. I wasn't at all worried about my little guy getting hurt. More...
