Service is quick and very friendly. I got the 'South if the Border Breakfast,' and it was delicious. The carnitas and hash browns were cooked wonderfully. The house made habanero hot sauce is a necessary compliment to this dish to add some heat and great additional flavor. Price is fair for quality of service and food. This place is sooooo good! I ordered the berry medley and I knew it was meant for me the moment I took a bite. Perfect sweet crispy outer layer, yet nice and soft inside. First time here and was not disappointed! Service was prompt and courteous. Food was hot and really good! I ordered the pecan waffles and it was delicious. A must try! Once a week my boyfriend and I have a Brunch date, choosing a different random spot every time. This by far has been our Favorite spot! I like the Waffle Stop, the food is good, the service timely, and the staff are friendly. I think the reason I give it four out of five stars is because I always feel like it's about turning tops when I'm there. Quickly after food arrives so does the ticket. It's like friendly to a point, then its down to business. I get that's how restaurants like the Waffle Stop work and stay in business, but the hustle to open up my seat for the next person could be dialed down just a bit. More...

We came here for brunch after attempting to do so at Knapp's across the way-- from which we walked out due to not being served food 50 minutes after arrival. Much much better experience at Waffle Stop!! Seated fast, food was delicious and came out within 10 minutes. Staff were all really friendly.. turned a start to our day completely around. I contacted waffle stop less than a week early to see if they could accommodate a party of 16 on a Sunday morning for my daughter's birthday. They were more than happy to grant us a reservation. Our party quickly grew to 20 and the wait staff was friendly and gracious with our large group. The restaurant is adorable and inviting, the food was indulgent and delicious, and my daughter got to eat a waffle as big as her face for her first birthday. Absolutely recommend! More...

Waffle stop is the awesome I got a pecan waffle and added cookie butter and OOOF it was amazing. Such yummy waffles!! Every time I've been there we've somehow always got the same waiter, Andrew. He is awesome at his job; very friendly and charismatic. During the weekend there is usually a little waitlist but if you put your phone number down you can walk around at the shops and they will text you when your table is ready. My parents recently moved nearby Waffle Stop and we had a super good breakfast here! As their name suggests, their speciality is in their waffles. I ordered the Wake N Waffle selection with the Pearl Sugar Waffle and the chicken apple sausage.The Place:Bright and lively aesthetic that perfectly fits that good-morning/bright and early happy attitude that you need to get started with your day. The Food:Wake N Waffle - came with two eggs (any style), hash browns, and a protein with your choice of waffle. The Pearl Sugar Waffle is basically the essence of a funnel cake in the form of a waffle. Not as fluffy as a classic Belgian waffle, but fluffy enough with a distinctive crispy and not too sweet flavor that will definitely remind you of a funnel cake. Their chicken apple sausage is house-made and extremely well seasoned. I admit the combo of a sweet waffle with all the savory breakfast food was a bit overwhelming, but the quality was super good! I was invited here last week but couldn't make it. Decided to take my mom today for lunch and I was impressed. I expected the interior to be larger, but larger doesn't always mean better. The atmosphere was a bit overwhelming , lots of talking going on but can't help that ! I got the egg bacon and avocado scramble with a pearl waffle. I enjoyed the omelet as the bacon gave it a nice salty kick. The pearl waffle was a bit more than I expected, I could have gone with the traditional waffle instead. I suppose it would all depend on ones sweetness preference. I like to taste maple syrup drenched in my waffles, with the pearl waffle there were crystals, it was thick and overpowered the taste of the syrup. Definitely going back ! Came in around 10am on a Sunday. Just me so I got to skip the line and sit at the full service bar. Sat down was promptly waited on. Grabbed a decaf vanilla latte and the mini mess. Both were really good. The menu is very diverse - they have sweet and savory waffle options. Pricing was good also. Side note: The girl behind the bar was in charge of ALL non water drinks for the whole restaurant and serving the patrons at the bar. This girl kicked ass!! Came in with a good attitude, and already had a welcoming feeling. Being a person of color and coming to the proctor district can be intimidating, but our server Andrew made us feel welcomed and had a bright smile. The food was delicious, and they have a little something for everyone! I ordered the lemon + blueberry waffle and it was yummy, however very sweet - so if you don't have a sweet tooth I'd worried something a little less fancy. My boyfriend ordered Chicken and Waffles and he loved it, I tried some and it was delicious! Their coffee is good, and they also make mochas and lattes iced or hot and they have alternative milks which can be hard to find in restaurants. I was very impressed! Outstanding!Best waffles I have ever had, each dish was so creative and well made. We came on a weekend for brunch and the place was packed-always a good sign in my opinion. The staff really hustled, and even through the rush they were overly friendly and attentive to every guest. The decor was well done and I love their branding. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area.**also, our server, James, was phenomenal!! We had him our first time when we were visiting the area from out of state. Wow first timers! Wanted to have something different than the usual so this is IT!! The place is bigger than it looks too. It goes all the way to the back. Very nice decor and clean.  The waitress came right away and got drink orders and gave us a few minutes to read the menu. Everything looked fantastic. The iced tea is good and fresh brewed yum. I had the southern  chicken n waffles. Wow they butterflied the chicken and pounded the meat. And it was perfectly crispy on the edges ... fantastic!!  Bf had the Bacon overboard combo. That was good too. Only thing that would make that better would be more bacon!!! Lol. I'm defiantly comIng back.   Back home again and we at least have to come in here once again. Iced tea for the boy. But it's hard to get refills. And brother I really dislike how LOUD it is in here!!! I would love to try the chicken waffle fries the next time I come in. Anyways, I had ordered the bacon overboard waffle with eggs and my friend got the mess haul. The bacon overboard waffle just consist of pieces of bacon on top of the waffle and some mixed inside the waffle.  The mess haul had pretty much the same thing but with a piece of chicken. Honestly I thought the waffle was going to be bigger portioned and the bacon , I could of used more inside the waffle, but everything was good overall. The coffee was great, that's rare to find at some places these days, it was fresh. The seating and atmosphere was pretty chill. I can tell alot of regulars come in.
