Describe your creative process.
First, I like to discuss what it is that you're trying to achieve with your request and gain a better understanding of who you are trying to target with your effort. I don't believe in just making something look professional, it has to speak to your audience and inspire them to take action. So, having a clear understanding of your business, your customers, and what you want to achieve is critical to a project's success.
I then brainstorm ways to help you achieve your goals. I will provide suggestions that demonstrate the value your business can provide to your customers. It's not enough to say you have something to offer, you have to demonstrate why your product or service will help your customer resolve whatever issue they may have with your solution.
I will then present potential solutions to you via a phone/video call so we can discuss my thinking and give you an opportunity to provide feedback. I then will work to finalize your project and deliver you on-target, error-free files.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
I need to understand your business, your target market, and goals you expect to achieve with this project.
What do you love most about your job?
I love helping my clients find creative ways to really connect with their target market. Design is so much more than making something look good aesthetically. It provides a means to connect with your audience and inspire them to connect with your message, and eventually become advocates of your brand. It's so much fun to get my client's to discover what the true essence of their business is and help them convey that in every deliverable that goes to their customers.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've worked in corporations for more than 20 years. I have worked in businesses as small as 400 to as large as 500,000. I really enjoy working on a smaller scale. Helping smaller businesses succeed in the same way a huge corporation can is what gets excited to work with my clients.
