Arlene did not disappoint!! She was able to work with my budget and the final product was even more perfect that I pictured! I didn't know much about flowers before I met with Arlene in her studio. I just told her my color theme and showed her some photos of what I liked on Pinterest. One thing that stood out to me over some of the other florists I met with is that she was very enthusiastic and genuinely excited to be a part of my wedding. And BOY DID SHE DELIVER!!She even stayed after the ceremony to move the flowers from the arch to our sweetheart table, and I didn't even notice her at all! Arlene is AMAZING!!! My husband and I got married this past January at the Julia Morgan Ballroom and since it was a winter wedding, I had a particular floral vision in mind - mostly white roses, peonies, dusty miller, wintry greens. I sent Arlene sample photos of table arrangements, garlands, bouquets, etc. and met with her in person to go over exactly what I had in mind. I also was able to pick out the vases for the table arrangements and ribbon for the bouquets/boutonnieres at her workshop. Arlene was such a pleasure to work with and provided me with a quote that was within my budget. She was extremely patient with me too, especially since I was so specific and particular about every detail! I was a VERY pleased bride on my wedding day. Arlene had completely went above and beyond my expectations. She is a true artist and an amazingly talented florist. Arlene came highly recommended to us from another florist that we had been interested in working with and are we ever glad we talked to her! Working with Arlene was very easy and she very quickly grasped the vision that I was looking for. I told Arlene some of the colors and flowers that I wanted included and some styles that I liked and she did the rest. She is very creative and designed the most breathtakingly atmosphere for our wedding. The flowers were STUNNING and the arrangements were gorgeous! While we were planning our wedding, I must have spent weeks on Pinterest, lost among the beautiful cascading bouquets and dreamy flowered arches.  It was almost overwhelming.  Luckily, Arlene was able to use her years of expertise and incredible talent to sort through all of my jumbled thoughts and ideas and turn them into something truly beautiful.  I remember getting my hair done in the bridal suite, when one of my bridesmaids looked out the window and ran back to the doorway and said, "Just wait until you see what you're getting married under.  You won't believe it."  Arlene is an artist.  From the flower petal aisle to the beautiful birch chuppah, she truly helped create the wedding of our dreams.  The colors were perfect--the flowers were fresh and vibrant.  My guests still comment on how beautiful the centerpieces were!  Of course, my favorite was the bouquet.  Every time I see pictures of it from the wedding, I think to myself, "I totally would have pinned that."  Arlene created the most beautiful, romantic cascading bouquet of blush and white with just the right amount of pop for our marsala accent color.  I could not have been more thrilled.  Arlene was responsive, flexible, and she REALLY goes the extra mile for her clients.  We got married on one of the hottest day of the year in Healdsburg, and she brought my husband an extra boutonniere in case the first one wilted so we would have a fresh one for pictures in the afternoon.  She thought of EVERYTHING.  The value, professionalism, and overall product was 100% absolutely worth the 5-star rating.  Violetta Flowers (and Arlene) has our highest recommendation.  Thanks again, Arlene, for making our special day look like something right out of a dream--our dream! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Arlene is phenomenal! I was a cross country bride, living in Boston and getting married in Walnut Creek, but Arlene was always so accommodating to my last minute trips to the bay area and so responsive to all my emails. She is extremely professional, easy going and we clicked and had the same fun vision for the flowers and decor for our big day. I wanted untraditional and fun and boy did I get that and more! The flowers were everything I had hoped for and more! Her artistic ability and vision for all aspects of our wedding was impeccable and really, really, really made our wedding incredibly gorgeous. Our flowers looked like they came out of a magazine and we got so many complements from the venue, guests and friends. Arlene is the absolute best. Do not miss out on an opportunity to work with her. She has so much love for what she does and it shows. My wedding at Vine Hill House in Sebastopol was out of a storybook thanks to her gorgeous arrangements and styling. She and I worked on design closely together and she did a perfect job. I will be upfront is stating that I am not a creative person at all, nor do I know anything about flowers. After my initial meeting with Arlene, I felt like she "got me". Her ideas after only a 20 min phone call blew me away and I immediately signed the contract. After calls and exchanging emails (I was originally planning this wedding from out of state), I was able to come down to her shop to see where the magic happens. She explained more detailed what she had sketched and even googled pictures of the flowers for me, like I said, I know NOTHING about flowers. She is truly passionate about what she does and I thoroughly enjoyed all of our conversations/meetings. I gave her an overall idea about what I wanted and let the details up to her. If you're looking for the perfect florist for your special day, Violetta Flowers is the one!  I was in charge of picking out the flowers for my good friends' wedding and went with Violetta based on their beautiful website photos and 5-star reviews.  Arlene is a master at what she does!  Not only does she have incredible vision and impeccable taste, but she has a real eye for color and scale.  For the wedding centerpiece, I gave Arlene a list of flowers I was interested in, along with style and color palette, and she just ran with it.  Arlene innately understood what I wanted, and she brought it to life with her vision and design!  Our jaws dropped when we came to pick-up the flowers!  They were absolutely stunning and breathtaking!  Not only did Arlene do a magnificent job, but her prices are also extremely reasonable!  You will be so glad you went with Violetta Flowers!As a thank you for helping my friends out, they gifted me with the centerpiece after the wedding.  I got to enjoy these flowers at home for another week and it brought me so much joy! They did the flowers for a friend of mine's wedding. I was the one to pick them up from the florist. Unfortunately, there was some miscommunication. She thought we would have a big van/suv, I didn't realize the flowers were going to be so tall!! All said and done, she helped us figure out how to get those suckers into the car and get us on our way. She offered to quickly redo them into smaller vases, but we managed to get it to work. The flowers were GORGEOUS. They held up well through a hot summer wedding day. She spent a lot of time with me to figure out exactly what I wanted and she exceeded my expectations. I cannot speak highly enough of Arlene and her team at Violetta Flowers. They completely knocked it out of the park with the flowers for our wedding on 9/27/14. We got countless compliments on our arch at the alter, our center pieces, my bouquet and all the little details Arlene put everywhere. Literally everything. She took copious notes and didn't miss a beat. She literally took my vision (which she just "got" literally 5 minutes after meeting me and hearing my jumbled thoughts) and ran with it. And what she created was literally a masterpiece. Everyone said so ... I would have been surprised by the sheer number of compliments had I not been thinking the same thing myself. All my girlfriends did their own photo shoots in the arch post-ceremony. When I was walking down the aisle with my dad and trying not to cry at the sight of my fiancé for the first time I distinctly remember seeing the arch and thinking "oh my god she NAILED it!". Honestly I could not be happier with what she put together for us...she's truly an artist and a talented and very sweet one at that. :) The icing on the cake are her prices in comparison to her competition. Extremely reasonable. I interviewed several florists who wouldn't have done half what Arlene did for double the price. No joke. I could not have been more pleased with our wedding flowers, which were provided by Arlene Boyle/Violetta Flowers on July 12, 2014. Arlene is an artist.  She also listened carefully and took a lot of time to understand what we wanted.  Then she delivered something that was exactly what we wanted and more--she really delivered perfection, far exceeding our expectations.  I was astonished when I entered our wedding venue, as were the many friends who spent time taking pictures with their phones OF THE FLOWERS rather than each other.  Even single men were remarking about how beautiful the flowers were.In addition, her price was far lower than the next highest proposal.  I am still in awe that we received the lush feel, volume and quality for the value. Arlene did a beautiful job turning a banquet room at Il Fornaio into a spring garden for my mother-in-law's 90th birthday brunch.  Quite literally, people gasped when they walked into the room and saw the beautiful arrangements she created... right down to the fresh flowers tucked into each napkin.   Working with Arlene was a delight: she immediately understood what we envisioned and how it could work within our budget.  All was done very efficiently with a minimum of communication and fuss... a godsend for us party planners!  I look forward to working with Arlene in the future... she's an artist and a treasure. My friend used Violetta for her wedding and loved the flowers, Arlene, and the value for the flowers. I was so impressed by the professionalism of Arelene and how sweet she is! I had a few ideas going into our first meeting and she listened and built upon my ideas. She is an expert when it comes to flowers, what will be in season, and what will look great. I watched in amazement as Arlene of Violetta Flowers recently helped my daughter and her groom choose flowers for their Presidio wedding.  They did not know much about flowers.  She listened so carefully and skillfully to their wide ranging, yet unique, and not always similar ideas, to gently guide them them to such a beautiful combination. Arlene is an amazingly talented florist who is the utmost professional with a fun and very creative side.  I am originally from Boston, but I planned my wedding in San Francisco where I have been living for about a year.  The biggest challenge was trying to find a florist that provided excellent work and service, and was also budget friendly.  Also, I am usually extremely picky and not the easiest person to work with, and know absolutely nothing about flowers.  Arlene totally broke me out of my shell and did not take advantage of the fact that I was clueless about her suggestions.  Instead, she took the time to work with me and educate me on the flowers she thought would work best for my vision.  And they were the best!  My vision was absolutely brought to life and way more than I expected.  Arlene is so easy to work with and has the ability to bring the loosest vision to life in such a fun and creative manner.She provided flowers for the entire bridal party and did all of our flowers for the reception including decorating the cake.  Her work was impeccable.  My guests are still talking about how classy and modern the flowers were.  She really completed my special day!A big thank you to Arlene for her awesomeness!!  I highly recommend Arlene!  She is passionate about being a florist, and genuinely loves what she does.P.S. I cannot thank Arlene from Violetta enough for the most AMAZING and beautiful floral arrangements she created for my wedding day. They were more stunning than I could have ever hoped and imagined and I received endless compliments on the colors, styling and elegance. Arlene was our florist for our wedding at the Vintage Estate in Yountville, Ca. on May 28, 2011. Prior to the wedding, we had our engagement party at Il Fornaio in San Francisco. We wanted flowers for the party and when we asked the restaurant for suggestions they told us about Arlene at Violetta Flowers and told us that she is the in house florist. We hired her for the engagement party and she did such a great job that we wanted her for the wedding flowers as well. Arlene is so sweet and so easy to work with. I met her once at her shop and then she came to meet me up at the wedding site in Napa. My colors were black, white with red and fuchsia. A very modern, chic wedding look. Arlene did an absolute fantastic job on the flowers. The vases and holders she used were perfect and the flowers were incredible. I loved the flowers at the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner/dancing.  Bottom line is I trusted Arlene to get the job done and she came through with flying colors. I heard about Arlene from a co-worker who used VIoletta Flowers for her wedding and I am so glad for this recommendation! Arlene was a pure joy to work with from day one . She is a sweet, kind soul who truly loves her work. I told Arlene I wanted the flowers to be "soft and fluffy", and she stayed true to my vision, providing myself and the wedding party beautiful bouquets of peonies and roses. The flowers for the reception tables (kings rows) were exactly what I wanted, a whimsical and eclectic display of different white vases holding peonies, roses, and other beautiful flowers. She also included these really cute monkey tails in the groomsman boutonnieres and display vases. We both had originally envisioned dahlias in the wedding flowers (dahlias are the official flower of San Francisco) but due to the massive rains this year, there were no good dahlias to use. Arlene told me this with plenty of advance notice and assured me flowers would still be beautiful and she really delivered. I have gotten comments that our flowers were the prettiest wedding flowers they had ever seen and I'd have to agree! Additionally, Arlene's prices are very fair in comparison to other quotes I had received. I originally had a hard time justifying budgeting for wedding flowers but I am so glad I did - it was worth every penny. Arlene did a wonderful job for my wedding in Sept 2009.  Unlike other parts of the wedding, such as the catering/hair and makeup/venue, you don't know beforehand exactly what your flowers will look like.  That's why it's so important to go with a florist who you feel understands your vision, or has some brilliant ideas of their own.  I felt both with Arlene, and was extremely happy with how our flowers turned out.  They were even better than what I had imagined.  Thanks Arlene! Arlene did amazing work for my wedding two weeks ago!  I was at first intimated by her beautiful portfolio on her website and thought this lady is going to be way out of my price range, but nope!  Her prices are incredibly reasonable, cheaper than several other florists I priced out, yet the quality is amazing.  She is SO nice and will really listen to you and help you figure out what you want.  The day of everything was just perfect.  I got loads of compliments on the flowers and couldn't begin to recommend her highly enough.  She made everything easy and gorgeous, what more do you want? Arlene (owner of Violetta) couldn't be sweeter or more helpful. I was one of those relaxed brides who just wanted everything to be beautiful. I know my flowers and certainly have favorites, but I didn't really care what kind of flowers were used. I brought a few magazine clippings to Arlene's house about a month before the ceremony and we finalized everything in under an hour. She did all the flowers for my wedding, but I really must comment on my favorite pieces. Arlene made the most fabulous centerpieces (complete with delicious herbs that really set off the arrangements), and my bouquet couldn't have been more exquisite...white and champagne colored roses, mini calla lilies, a few ranunculus and sage. It was more beautiful than I ever expected...The only small hiccup was on the big day itself, I thought I was going to have a gardenia for my hair...we had to improvise with a white orchid, which was fine by me. I think orchids are lovely. I also must say that Arlene does not charge outrageous prices...she worked within our budget without compromising beauty.
