This amazing facility and its compassionate and knowledgeable owners have transformed my way of thinking in regards to my health and physical fitness. I learn something new about myself every time I walk into the work out space. I’m getting healthier every day and each trainer takes care of me in a personal manner. I have Multiple Sclerosis and have some limitations, but I NEVER feel like I can’t accomplish something amazing every time I enter Rob and Alana’s gym. I've been going to Crossfit Vint Hill(CFVH) for about 9-10 months now. Can't say enough good things. I started because my weight kept ballooning up after woking out, getting hurt, gaining weight, rinse repeat. There came a day when enough was enough. After talking to the owners, rob and alana, we talked about my back issues and being sensitive to that. Also some prior mistakes and issues. I am one of those that "taught myself" crossfit, so in the past I got hurt a lot and had a few bad habits. That ended with CVFH. I both lost weight and the back issues are for the most part gone. Rob and Alana do a great job of scaling the workouts for people like myself who have various issues. At one point I told the morning coach (rob) Hey I trust you none of my clothes fit anymore I've lost so much weight. It's hard to express mobility as a number so instead I will use burpees. When I started I couldn't really do them. Like I was that guy who took a knee, then put the other knee on the ground, then both hands and gently lowered myself to the ground. Then just as gently possibly more so, got back up. Now I can do them pain free. Like full on, I can do them normally again. In a lot of places in my life I can move more normally now. Its amazing and great. I am very thankful to have that back. This review is more of a heart felt thank you to rob and alana. Vint Hill is a great gym, great coaches, great people, clean facility and awesome hours... I just about only go to the 0430 class, though there are a bunch more listed on their website. More...

It’s hard to find a workout facility that cares about your progress and does not treat you like just another number. Vinthill CrossFit is the only place I’ve found over the years that I don’t feel self conscience showing up to a workout and I know I’ll be treated as anyone else in the gym, egos are left at the door. Dropped in at CrossFit Vint Hill last week and loved every minute of it. They have an awesome facility; it is one of the nicest I've been to. The class was very well programmed and very well coached. I'm not through this area often, but I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area. More...

Coach and mid level competitor who travels to Va frequently. Vint Hill is one of the top 2 Crossfit boxes in all of Northern VA. Excellent, educated, and attentive coaches and owners. Heavy focus on accessory work, proper form, and balanced training. Coaches are well prepared and seem able to handle everyone from beginners, to game level competitors. Highly recommend this box for newbies, travelers, and seasoned vets alike. New equipment, ultra clean facility, great safe place for kids, and members of all skill levels. I started going to Crossfit Vint Hill from day one of opening until present. In this time period I have lost over 26 lbs of fat from my body while building muscle and great relationships with all the members of our gym. Rob and Alana Jenkins are great trainers, they are motivating and enthusiastic about helping people make major changes in their life. The best part is our gym has a diverse mixture of different types of people of all ages, ethnicities and athletic levels of performance. If you are nervous about trying crossfit and may not have pulled the trigger due to fear of being judged fear not Crossfit Vint Hill is a team of amazing people that have you best interest at its core. 5 our of 5 stars! Crossfit Vint Hill is as good as crossfit boxes come! Amazing team of coaches, their very down to earth, encouraging and also motivating! The coaches are very knowledgeable and diligent! A very clean and well maintained space. Overall the atmosphere is full of kind, encouraging, motivated people! It is for all these reasons why I gave it 5 stars! Your Home personal Trainer ROCKS!!!! I have recently decided to be more active and start working out again but wasn't as motivated to workout alone or go to the gym regularly. I decided to give Home personal trainer a try and emailed Rob. He came to our place on time and did a fitness evaluation for me to calculate my % body fat, water, muscle, visceral fat and bone. We then started a 45min - 1 hour long weight training in my basement starting off with some active stretching and ended with a cool down stretch. We did circuits of upper body, lower body, and abs in between. He was very knowledgeable and professional. His price is very reasonable and competitive. I will be working out on my own 2 times a week at the gym I belong to and train with Rob once a week. He's very easy to communicate with and schedule a regular session. Rob is also a very easy going person, working out for an hour went by fast.  After our session, Rob wrote down what exercises I could do at the gym on my own as well as went over some nutritional information and suggested calories I should be eating. Overall I'm very satisfied and pleased with his service and will continue to workout with him to get back in shape. Schedule a session with him and you will feel the difference it makes and say good bye to being a couch potato! Although I'm feeling a bit sore right now, it's definitely 100% worth it for good health! More...
