I don't have any illusions that VCP will win any "best pizza in NOLA" awards, but for a quick slice or two in the Quarter you're not going to find any better. Â Great crust and decent toppings. Â Fast, friendly service in a clean little space. Â No beer on wine on site, but you'll find plenty to drink within a few steps. Good pizza, good price; and delivery was prompt. ~A+. I was visiting and needed something to hold me off for intermediate satiation; this worked quite well. 2 pies were purchased and we plan to save the second for an oven warm-up tomorrow. Easily in top 3 best pizza I've ever had. I got the Bourbon Special Pizza. Crazy simple to order off here and pay for and showed up on time. The front desk loved the smell so much they ordered there own. If the world comes to an end in New Orleans and you haven't had this pizza you'll regret it. The pizza here was actually good. My kids definitely enjoyed. I had one piece and I was satisfied with the quality. I ordered thru grub hub and  and it said 35-55 min wait. But pizza came in no time.

My hotel recommended them. The pizza was hot when it came and tasted great! Especially grateful that they would deliver to our hotel after our first pizza order (from a different place) wouldn't deliver to our hotel due to the collapsed building/road closure and didn't let us know.

No how much you love all the beignets and gumbo that's available in the French Quarter, there will be days when you're tired of Cajun cooking and just need a good solid pizza fix. Â On those days Vieux Carre Pizza is a great place to head for!Tip: From the outside this place looks like a total hole-in-the-wall, but if you've ever spent any time in NYC you know that it's in places like this where you'll find the very best pizza :-)The pizza they make here is sold either by the slice or by the pie; you'll find it to be an outstanding hybrid of thin-crust NY-style and deep-dish Chicago style. The delivery to my hotel was SUPER fast and the delivery guy was so patient waiting for me to come down to tip him and grab the food. The pizza was hot looked amazing and tasted even better. Came here twice - both times drunk, both times very happy. The first night my husband and I tried three slices of the ready to go pizza - cheese, meat lover and bourbon - and they were delicious. Like 3am, New York City, holy cannoli delicious. Night two found us drunk and on Bourbon St again and craving pizza. We ordered pizza after leaving Bourbon St (we weren’t the drunk partiers, so alcohol did not affect our review ;) When we got back to our hotel late, we were hungry and had limited options. We ordered pepperoni pizza through GrubHub and were quoted almost an hour on a Friday night, which is not unreasonable.Less than 45 minutes later, I got a call that the delivery boy was outside the hotel. They had bundled our pizza with another order so we got it early!The pizza was so good! Not greasy, not too thick or thin, perfect! We ate the whole thing! It was so good that we even ordered it the next evening and got cheese bread and the Bourbon Special Pizza. I liked the Bourbon Special pizza but my husband wasn’t too keen on it.
