What’s your interior design process?
Usually I first meet clients at their properties. This consultation is free if I'll get the job. I perform a complete check-up of the space, asking the client targeted questions. Once I have some highlights, I proceed dividing my design process in 8 phases.
1. Space planning and layout
2. Color palette and paint selection
3. Furnishings selection (furniture, lighting, window treatment, accessories and art work.)
4. Coverings materials selection (fix and loose furniture)
5. Purchase, delivery and installation of items
6. Job site supervision
7. Collaboration with the Project Manager (if any)
8. Selection and supervision of White Gloves Company
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
As I was always in touch with Italian beauties and life style, my mission since the beginnings was to recreate that ambience in any useful way.
I envision my work as a fusion of Italian roots with my international residential and commercial working experience, going through classic and contemporary design with some vintage finds.
If you look at my portfolio you will find a mix/match of styles and cultures in an effort to give balance to the process of handling spaces and volumes as well surfaces and materials. I love combine client’s daily behavior with the functionality of the space to reach a unique and new point of view.
What do you love most about your job?
My first commitment is always to know in depth feelings and aims of my clients, weighting up them in terms of design (often at night when I use to sketch my thoughts).
Searching for harmony, stability and serenity, I use to manage spaces to combine a meditative calm with touches of upbeat whimsy in a carefully calibrated equilibrium.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was born in Florence where I grew up, studied, graduated and started my interior designer work, then I moved to Beverly Hills in 2011.
As I was always in touch with Italian beauties and life style, my mission since the beginnings was to recreate that ambience in any useful way.
