I could not be more grateful to have found Urban Sense for my wedding flowers. Upon first phone call with Dan I knew I had found the place! My bridal bouquet, my bridesmaids’ bouquets, the centerpieces for all the tables, and all the miscellaneous floral decorations at the reception were gorgeous and beyond anything I could have dreamt of. Dan took the time with me over the months leading up to the wedding to hear what I was looking for and created arrangements that far exceeded my expectations. I could not be happier with how everything turned out. On top of their work being exceptional, Dan was so easy to work with. His calm nature and how he listened to what I was looking for was such a breath of fresh air. As a bride, so many people tell you what you “need” to do but Dan was the opposite. He listened, then gave his expert advice and suggestions to ensure the end product was perfection. Surrounding a day of chaos for the bride, I didn’t worry at all about the floral delivery or how they’d turn out…I completely trusted Urban Sense and they did not let me down. Absolutely perfect! I ordered a sympathy arrangement at 9:51am and they were delivered at 10:12am... absolutely amazing! Dan was such a joy to work with! He was very patient with us, asking our wants and understanding our budget. He flipped through many photos to give us a sense of what he’s done before and talked to us about our favorite flowers/combinations. His sense of creativity made it all come to life. Did some Small Biz Saturday shopping at this adorable shop- great gift ideas from candles to bath bombs to Brew Your Own Beer Kits! They've also got an array of plants and unique pots for the plant lover on your list. I see that they do floral arrangements and orders, as well. The flower arrangement I received from Urban Sense was bar none the most beautifully put together arrangement I have ever received. And the courtesy of the delivery driver to send me a voicemail that he was there and where the flowers were was more then I could have ever expected. Dan and Chris did all our flowers for our wedding, 10 years ago. Man alive. Such great people! They have such an incredible, almost preternatural knack for style and "cool" it's unreal. This is Tosa's finest gem. I never ask for anything, I just give them a price I can pay. Bouquets, our wedding, whatever it is, I trust them with my life. And wife. Everything they do, they knock it out of the park. They have underwritten done v of my life's most important moments and they do it with a style and grace that easily put The Flower Lady and others to disgrace. So cool. So talented. I literally had 2 hours to order an arrangement and get it delivered to a funeral home on time. I live out of state but knew I wanted to deal with a local florist directly. I loved the unique arrangements I saw on the website so this is the place I definitely wanted to use. I don't find myself "needing" to send flowers (which is a good thing) but I do find myself wanting to make a day brighter for Lori every once in a while. When I do, I turn to Urban Sense.Assets: Urban Sense has a good sense (hence the name) of creative flower arrangement. They are always very helpful when I call and have delivered my bouquet of love same day even when I call after 11am.Liabilities: They aren't going to be your $20-40 bouquet place. A small, but beautiful, arrangement will run you $50 for the flowers and an all in delivered price of over $60. My daughter got married last Friday. I noticed the flowers were fading but when I went to give the bridesmaids their bouquets they were completely wilted. The flowers were improperly stored in the refridgerator. It was 3:30 and the wedding was at 4. I called Dan in a panic and he told me to hold on he'd be there as soon as possible. I've had the pleasure of using this company for flower arrangements for a corporate event. The arrangements were beautiful and highly complimented. I appreciate that I can tell them the general color scheme and they come up with arangements to meet my needs. Urban Sense really was one of the best vendors we worked with on our wedding. Knowing what kind of flowers we wanted for our wedding was not a strong suit of mine. During our initial meeting Dan put together all of our likes from the slide show and came up with the most beautiful floral arrangements. Not only was it everything I never knew I loved, but it matched the ceremony and reception locations perfectly. Urban Sense was extremely easy to work with through the logistics as well. They were flexible and helpful when we needed to give our final counts and make some last minute changes. We also ran into some hiccups with our ceremony location the week before our wedding and Dan handled it remaining completely calm and helped me make decisions based on those changes. What a wonderful experience! We met with Dan for initial consultation, and he was fantastic. Urban Sense captured exactly what we were looking for, even though our floral choices weren't as traditional. Dan put me at ease with our budget, after speaking with four other florist shops. He suggested using diablo leaf in my bouquet along with orange calla lillies and red roses. It added the perfect dark purple color to make my the fall colors of my bouquet really pop. My wife and I did some major research and we came to Urban Sense and our experience was great! Dan was straightforward, honest and knowing we were on a tight budget, helped us cut costs wherever needed (PS, groomsmen don't NEED flowers). One of the things I really appreciated was when he said "if this isn't a good fit, I'm going to tell you right away", instead of playing fake nice and taking our money, which we came across a few times.He was very accessible and came up with ideas we never thought about, which is great, because he is the expert, not us. We had a "sparse" theme and he nailed it, as well as repurposing everything, once again cutting on cost. What Dan and Chris designed made our wedding gorgeous and made an impression on others.
