We could not have asked for anything better! I used Urban Buds for a friends wedding this fall. I got the flowers on the Thursday before the Saturday evening wedding and they were absolutely spectacular! My friend (the bride) ordered a few specialty buckets of flowers that she really liked but then left everything else up to UB. What we received was a vast array of greenery, cool textures and shapes, amazing deep purple pea pods?! It's was fantastic! Not a single stem was damaged or dying, you could tell that each one was hand picked for it's beauty and quality. I've never created wedding bouquets, corsages or boutonnieres and these flowers made it effortless because all of my options for stems were so beautiful. The color pallet that UB provided was really cohesive too so I could mix and match just about anything and it looked great. I can't say enough good things about UB and I wish I would have known about them for my wedding! Also, when I dropped off the flower buckets that UB lent us I had just found a stray dog in the neighborhood. Mimo stopped what she was doing and went door to door looking for the owner of the dog. I would buy Urban Buds flowers every week at the Tower Grove Farmers Market is my cat wouldn’t eat them! I was thrilled to have them do my wedding flowers. My mom and I discovered Urban Buds at a wedding expo, and we are SO thankful we did! I loved the idea of supporting a local company. When my mom and I went to visit them, I fell even more in love. The gardens are a diamond in the rough- green among the city streets. Miranda and Mimo (and August!) were so welcoming and friendly. They gave us a full tour, got to know me and my vision for the wedding, and sent us on our way with a complimentary bouquet. The bouquets, boutonnieres, and flowers on the altar were GORGEOUS. Miranda and Mimo were so wonderful for our wedding flowers! Urban Buds is sparkling part of St. Louis's sustainable farm community; I was thrilled to have their beautiful flowers as well as support a local small business on our wedding day. I had a few ideas for the flowers, and they helped us flesh out the rest. My favorite parts were the amazing flower crown, my cascading bouquet, and the flower buckets we used to fill the reception table centerpieces. Working with Miranda and Mimo was so much fun! Meeting with them to talk through our wedding and what kind of flowers would compliment the event was easy and extremely helpful. I had no real vision for what kind of flowers I wanted and felt completely comfortable with whatever they decided to give us. They designed our bouquets and boutineers (which were so magnificent) and we got buckets of flowers for making the centerpieces. There was no way to make things look bad with the flowers they supplied. Everything was lush and fresh and we could not have asked for an easier experience. Wedding planning is stressful, so relinquishing creative control for the flowers to them was such a great decision.
