This place is absolutely AMAZING! If you need to go to any spa or just need some “me” time, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! Abby (I believe she is the owner) is very present in the spa, which you don’t see often. She is so detailed when explaining everything, she will take her time and make sure you have no unanswered questions. She genuinely wants you to enjoy your spa day. (Normally people just want your money, not here!) Jessie who did my massage, was absolutely amazing! She is very gentle, tells you what she’s doing during the massage and tells you her thoughts during the reiki massage. Very personable and highly recommend her to anyone! This is a hidden gem tucked away in the historic Westclox building. Who would have thought you could find a spa of this quality that is couples friendly in LaSalle county. Amazing full service spa, the salt room, sauna were great but you have to come for the float tank rooms. It’s amazing how a few sessions can allow you to solve long standing problems.

An awesome lady named Abby greated me at the door.. Gave me the tour of the place.. I decided to try the new Salt Pool for 1 hr, Very relaxing. . 2 days later, I decided to try the 90 min Deep Tissue and sit in the Sauna for 45 min.... Jamie took all the pain away, A big Thank You.. Sooo, I’ve been waiting to write this review for awhile because I am sure once word gets out about how amazing this spa is everyone will flood in and I’ll have to plan further ahead to book an appointment (I know that was super selfish :( ). However, this is the BEST MOST RELAXING WONDERFULLY DECORATED AND APPOINTED SPA I have ever been to. I have been to several other spas in Southern Illinois & a beautiful place in Wisconsin. Nothing really compared to the atmosphere at Unwind. They have something for everyone from emotional support to the healing infrared sauna and many more services. The attention to detail and peacefulness had me walking out completely stress free; and let’s face it we are all a bit stressed. It’d be wrong of me to keep this secret any longer. The price is a little higher than expected but plan to spend 2.5 hours of relaxation when booking your 60 minute signature massage because they take their time and truly care about your wellness. Last but most definitely not least is Abby she is an incredibly bright spirited soul and will make sure your experience is top notch. If there are other people out there who are patrons to this spa and have had similar experiences I hope you write a review for this business. It just seems wrong that Unwind does not have more reviews on google. I google almost every new business I visit and know there are paid writers out there...but it still makes an impact on my opinion irregardless.
