I started working out with Aaron almost 2 years ago and I've seen a difference in many ways. One of the things I like best about him is that he takes into account what's going on with you that day. Whether it's energy level, tiredness, muscle soreness, overall aches and pains, etc. He doesn't just come in with his plan, but adjusts to what your body needs that day as well. I enjoy my workouts and the accountability keeps me on track. I would highly recommend him. More...

I highly recommend Aaron! I have been working with him for about 6 months now. I have never been comfortable at the gym; and when I did, I did not see much progress. In addition to helping me decrease my back and hip pain, Aaron has helped me increase my strength, and I’m starting to get comfortable at the gym. He is very knowledge and flexible, even adjusting as the workout progresses if needed. If you hate the gym but would like not too, I encourage you to give training with Aaron a try! More...

I have been working with Aaron for 2.5 years. Aaron is always professional and takes his work seriously. He is exactly what you want in a trainer; he is diligent and pays exquisite attention to form (knows when you are done or can keep going) so you know you will get the best possible workout with minimal risk of injury, has a thorough understanding of human physiology and is able to easily adapt to any necessary modifications. I’ve been training with Aaron for five months. He is the fourth trainer with whom I have worked over the past few years and the first to whom I have committed two sessions per week. He is smart and experienced. He is attentive and invested in my success. He sees improvement when I can’t and offers encouragement when I feel uninspired. He reminds me of my personal achievements and celebrates them in his gentle way. I've already achieved more than I thought I would! Aaron designs training sessions that are challenging, and he has high expectations for success. He changes up the workouts regularly and remains tuned into my personal goals. He is aware of my physical limitations as he pushes and pushes. Aaron ensures that my form and technique are correct and works diligently to help me avoid mistakes. He is flexible and willing to meet outside the gym to accommodate my needs and the demands of my personal life. I highly recommend Aaron. He is truly loyal, trustworthy, and dependable. I plan to sign up for at least six more months. I’ve got more goals to reach and am confident that Aaron is the trainer to help me realize them. More...

I used to be very active in my early/mid 20s, but because I worked all the time and I injured my back (I had a herniated disc), i slowly started becoming less and less active until it got to a point where I gained a ton of weight and was completely out of shape. I weighed 174lbs (20lbs more than what I used to weigh) and was completely unhappy with myself. A couple months ago, I decided to take control of it and contacted Aaron after looking up several different personal trainers that could accommodate my schedule and had various qualifications. After meeting him the first time, I knew that he was extremely knowledgeable and would push me to achieve my goals, as well as make sure that I would not re-injure my back. I went to him twice a week for 2 months now, and because of it, along with a decent diet, I have now lost 15 lbs and am back into the physique that I used to be in. I cannot stress how satisfied that I am and how much I recommend people train under him. My girlfriend is even going to start training under him after seeing the results that I have gotten thus far. I HIGHLY recommend anyone of all ages/sizes/goals go to him. More...

"Aaron is an EXCELLENT trainer. Not only has he been extremely motivating and inspirational - he is an awesome teacher. I feel more in tune with my body than I ever have, and my fiancé (who is training with us, and is much more experienced in fitness than I am) has been pain-free for the first time in 5 years after a back injury after working with Aaron for 1 month. Aaron is thoughtful, flexible with my schedule, and is helping me overcome physical and psychological obstacles related to my health and fitness. I HIGHLY recommend Aaron - from beginner to expert - for realizing your potential and reaching your goals in fitness. More...

Q&As

The most valuable aspect of my service is that I don't do cookie cutter programs. Each client has a thorough interview process that serves several goals. The first is for the client and me to determine if we are a good fit for each other. The second is to gather the correct information so that the free assessment session can be targeted correctly to gather the best information to build a complete, effective program for the client. The third is to get to the clearest picture of what the client wants and needs and what has kept them from meeting those goals in the past and how to minimize or eliminate them as we move forward.

There is no secret to getting the body of your dreams. At least, there isn't one secret in general or for any single person. Some people have total commitment and only need structure, knowledge and coaching. Other people need motivation. Sometimes that means encouragement, sometimes it means a kick in the rear. For other people, the secret is seeing some tangible progress that comes from good coaching and motivation. I could list a dozen more "secrets". It's part of my job to help find their "secret" and use it to meet their goals.

Every day I make a positive impact on the lives of people who are committed to making their lives better. I get to witness their successes, laugh with them, sometimes help them heal. I get to feel connected and proud. It's a good job to have.

It was simple. Either I was going to do more and do it better for my clients than I saw in the big corporate gyms or I was going to quit. I wanted the power to worry first about what was good for my clients and not be pressured to worry always first about the next dollar.

I'm not the cheapest trainer around. I don't have the biggest facility or trendiest equipment. What I do have are years of experience training every kind of client. I've trained Division 1 college athletes and people who have never entered a gym before we met. I've trained men wrecked in helicopter crashes and women who just gave birth. I specialize in clients who have chronic back pain and those who have or are battling depression because those are both very personal to me and so I have a special perspective and knowledge. I've been 110 lbs overweight, a smoker and so out of shape I couldn't run for 30 seconds or climb a few flights of stairs without feeling ashamed at how out of breath I was. So, again I have a perspective that many don't on the initial challenges of starting a fitness program and sticking to it.
