It’s definitely an upscale American dinner. Huge bar. What you would expect on the menu. There were gluten free buns with the burgers. I got the fish tacos without yogurt sauce. They were good, little soggy but that’s sorta to be expected with juicy fish. There was a skewer through the tacos that ripped a hole in the tortilla; not necessary. The beans and rice were very well seasoned; that was an unexpected plus. Not much for me in the desert department; full of gluten and dairy. Service was typical. Pleasant enough. From the second I walked in the staff was attentive & have great recommendations. Per my servers recommendations I got the Poké bowl! It was delicious! Flavors were popping, tastebuds were dancing, it was a delicious meal. I rarely get desserts, I did splurge this dinner & I got the flourless chocolate cake. Highly recommend Truxton's near LAX- the food, service, and experience were amazing! We were a party of 2, seated in a great area. Harley was our super fantastic server. Harley suggested the Chilean sea bass with asparagus risotto. In addition we ordered fish & chips substituted chips with mashed potatoes. As an appetizer the monkey bread was suggested. It was a terrific suggestion. Definitely recommend the monkey bread. Next our order came out, and the food was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed our meal, the service. Definitely try the carrot cake. We could not take photos in time before devouring the amazing cake. What really impressed me was the hot water with lemon after our dessert. We had already paid, and I mentioned I was cold, Harley brought our table hot tea with lemon, I enjoyed the hot water with lemon. It was the perfect touch after a lovely dining experience. This place was awesome. We were visiting the area and decided to stop in for lunch. We had tried to stop in on Saturday but it was packed. So, we on Monday afternoon to take a break from checking out used bookstores. There was only one other table occupied. Our waiter was being trained by another server and they were both great. The atmosphere was cozy, and the food was fantastic. My son said he wished we had one where we're from. I agreed. Definitely glad we stopped in. Dietary restrictions: They are gluten friendly. Be careful if you're gluten sensitive and can handle small amounts of cross contamination. I'm gluten sensitive due to auto-immune disease but I am generally okay with things in a shared fryer. I ordered the fries. Thankfully, our server informed us they toss their fries in flour before frying. That I cannot do. Burgers and sandwiches can be served on gluten free buns. More...

Awesome place. We had a Ies meeting there in private dining and the food rocked and so did the service. The cheese cake was to die forvand they bring a giant piece in it's own whole cheese cake . Our Sandwiches and Wrap favorites include our 11-Spiced Brisket, Uncle Teds Turkey, Turkey Avocado Club and our Miso Salmon & Ann's Veggie Wrap! Our signature dish is the Chicken & Pasta Buffet that includes our decadent and flavorful Bistro Salad, all natural Rotisserie Chicken marinated in herbs & spices and our Roasted Red Pepper Penne Pasta.

We specialize in corporate catering, from simple delivery and set-up for a small meeting to full-service catering and event planning, at our place or yours! We also offer a Quality Full-Service Staff for special events! Our friendly servers and cooks are available upon request starting at $30.00 per hour with a 5-hour minimum. We also have catering equipment available.
