I was incredibly intimidated going into my first class, but once you get there, all your fears are erased. Yes, it was hard, but it's doable for sure! Between the atmosphere, comradery, and scaleable workouts I feel that I can really stay motivated and actually look forward to going! Two cheers for Tough Mudder Bootcamp! More...

Just completed the 42-day transformation challenge successfully and even lost more weight and body fat then required! I feel great and highly recommend the program & the overall concept of the gym. The partner/team format with coach oversight challenges you to push yourself without ever feeling out of control. Each exercise station is dynamic and engaging, they rotate often, and each one has alternatives if you don't feel comfortable doing them. They are committed to helping you reach your goals safely & efficiently More...
Awesome HIIT workouts, different every time. An amazing tribe to call your friends. So much fun & support. Love this place
Anyone who knows me, knows I have struggled with weight my entire life. A little over three years ago I got a wake up call when a dear friend passed away. I was a little under 300 lbs and had size 42 pants. After it happened I decided I wanted to turn my life around and be more healthy and make a 180 in my lifestyle and nutrition. Last year I was able to get to 200 with hard work and focus. However, I felt I reached a plateau. Then, I saw the challenge at Tough Mudder Bootcamp. I Immediately felt welcomed from the moment I walked in the door. It’s a fresh approach to an incredible workout. All the amazing coaches push you further than you ever thought possible. Thanks to them constantly motivating me to do a little more each day; I was fortunate enough to pass the challenge and now I’m 174 lbs and a size 32!!! The energy of all the tribe members and killer music will keep you coming back. If you are looking for a gym that gives real results, look no further. This gym is exactly what you need!!! Come join the tribe and see what it’s all about. What do you have to loose, first class is free!!! More...

Great workout and great supportive staff. You feel welcome since day one. Come join!!!
My first workout today! It was tough but good! Working out with a partner is great. Instructions from trainer were clear, plus I like the TV on each station reminds me what to do and show s proper forms. There is always modifications if you are not used to the exercises. Looking forward to other workouts in the weeks to come! More...

Love the challenge and atmosphere at Tough Mudder, the staff is awesome and encouraging for all levels of fitness.
I've been going to this gym pretty much since the day it opened, and I have to say that the Tough Mudder Bootcamp has by far been my favorite gym that I've been a member of. As someone who's been a member of several CrossFit and general fitness gyms, I know how intimidating it can be to walk into a gym cold turkey and be surrounded by elite athletes who are already performing at the highest level. At Tough Mudder not only do they accommodate members of all fitness levels, they make working out fun and also make it feel like one big family! Highly recommend to anyone looking to try something new! More...
Absolutely love the coaches and workouts here! Workouts are teamwork based with a partner which makes the workouts fun and if you're competitive a plus! The movements are easily scalable for beginners and advanced. I've done other programs (crossfit, HIIT) and used to dread all of the workouts. I genuinely enjoy and look forward to coming to a tough mudder class even on my worst days. The staff here are super friendly, welcoming, and want to know you. Take the plunge! More...
I am not sure where to begin. I came to the open house to check out the gym and get more information and left as a founding member, signed up for an unlimited package. What I didn't know is how much that day was going to change me. I was not a morning workout person but forced myself to get up for the 6am classes and I haven't looked back! I not only have lost inches and weight, I have gained strength and endurance, but more importantly, friendship. The coaches are so incredibly amazing and encouraging. They know when to push you and when you have had just enough. The other members are just the same way. We are all there to get a workout in and anyone at any level can complete each of these workouts. My mornings aren't the same when I skip class. 6am tribe for life (or noon or pm ). Thanks for opening this gym with such amazing people and a great environment!! More...
This place is great! Very clean & neat. The trainers are Awesome & the workouts...the workouts are tough.
This is a really great gym! It's a super tough 45 min workout and the coaches are very encouraging. The front staff and managers are welcoming and learn everyone's names! The people in each class offer supportive words and high fives. I'm a huge fan of this place! More...
Wow, attended my first class today. Happened to be the core workout...kicked my butt (in a good way!) everyone was so nice and helpful. I really appreciated the instructor giving me modifications for some of the stations since I have lower back disc issues. My partner Robby was awesome and so motivating. I will be back for sure! I’m not one for discipline and I get bored easily. But I’ve got to tell you, Tough Mudder Bootcamp has kept me challenged and wanting to come back for more each time. I’ve been a member since January and I’ve already begun to see improvements in my strength, stamina and body. I have upped my attendance to four times a week now because after each workout, it feels like I’ve experienced a hero’s journey (like in Greek mythology) that ends in victory and transformation. No joke! The workouts are hard... but not impossible. For the most part, you use your own body weight to build strength. You’re surrounded by an unbelievable group of people from all walks of life, all shapes and sizes, who pass no judgment and only have one goal in mind - to finish the workout in 45 min. The workouts change daily and provide partner/group interaction - an opportunity to get to know people. The afternoon coaches: Meredith, Louise, Shannon; and staff: Leslie, Shayne, Lindsey and Sumaira are funny, encouraging, truly genuine and caring people. They work with you during your routine, make you feel welcomed and make sure you don’t slack off. But they’re also understanding in that all bodies are built different and have different limits. It is with their support you’ll begin to earn the most out of your workout! Several classes throughout the day will cater to people’s different schedules, including mornings, noon, evenings and weekend mornings. Location is pretty centralized and a short drive from Downtown, Heights, Midtown, and Museum District. Prices go as low as $9 a class. Give it a try! That’s a steal for the value you will receive. They also provide two week passes for non-committal folks. More...
Tough Mudder is the most FUN and effective boot camp out there. Come try us out and you will not be let down!

My first gym that I've gone to that is very friendly. 45 minutes class that leaves you sweaty.

Okay. I have had a gym membership of some form for SEVEN YEARS now. How often did I go? Maybe once a month. This place changed that. I joined two months ago and go 4-6 days a week now at 6:00am and if you had told me that would happen I would have laughed in your face. I have grown noticeably stronger, become more energetic, and loved every second of it. The people I've met here, from members to trainers to owners have all challenged me to compete against myself and each other. The teamwork aspect is incredible and changed the way I view working out. Also if you think this is only to train you for a tough mudder, you think wrong. It's a great all around workout and fun to boot! I could go on but I'm running late for my class :) see you on the turf!! More...
Nice ( new ) facility with great people! Best place to burn calories in short time. Very clean and provide towels too

Absolutely! They are very encouraging and give just the right nudge to get you to your potential and it’s fun!
Couldn't recommend this place enough! The staff here is absolutely amazing to work with! The workouts are different everyday and I really appreciate how versatile they are. Doesn't matter if you're absolutely not in shape or you are a competitive athlete, they will modify the workout for your needs! Also not to mention the app is great! So easy to sign up for classes. They offer many different times per day, so you'll for sure be able to find one that works for your schedule. More...

If you enjoy working out with others in a team environment, this it! The workouts are always different, challenging and fun and the coaches and staff are always encouraging you to push your limits do your best!
Had the pleasure of witnessing a class before deciding to try it out myself. What. A. Blast. From the greeting as soon as I walked in through the last high five when leaving was astounding. The team environment and encouragement from everyone in the session is what really makes it enjoyable and a platform for anyone in any level of fitness. The front desk staff was nice and friendly and very good at communicating the process of checking in and explaining how the classes work. The coaches did a great job of teaching the movements and continuously encouraging and motivating everyone throughout the entire class. Unfortunately there isn't a location in college station where I live. But I will definitely be returning to this gym next time I'm in Houston. Loved the facility, loved the environment with the people, loved the workout. Can't wait to join another workout. More...

Love this place! Fun, challenging workouts and a friendly staff!
Been attending this bootcamp since it opened in early January. I have already lost about 10 pounds and my suit pants don't fit anymore. One of the other guys has lost about 20lbs in the same time. I have worked out for years but this pushes me like a workout on my own never would. The routines are different everyday and they say we will never do the same workout in a 365 day period. Staff is great, instructors are really good and it is clean! They wipe down all the equipment after each class! How many other places do that other than the country clubs? This place is dynamite. Awesome place to get yourself together. I started this because my son, who's in college me asked me to do it with him. I am a real athlete. I workout every day if I can in some form; weights, walk, road bike more than 25 miles with no issues, Orangetheory and Yoga. They really challenge me in a good way. I am doing exercises I would have never done on my own. I have been doing Tough Mudder for almost one month and I have lost weight. I am down a couple of sizes. No joke. I am going to continue and I love it. Good workout. I don't have to plan my workout, someone else does. I'm losing weight in area I was once convinced that the fat was there to stay. They are extremely encouraging toward your workout. All I have to do is get there. More...
Great gym, great workouts, awesome trainers! Team building!
I was scared at first that I would be the only non-athletic and not be able to finish a class. But after my first class let me just say OMGOSH it's for everyone and I don't feel out of place. I like the team and partner style they have going on. The staff has been very encouraging even when they see that I need to maybe take the modification steps or whatever instead hurting myself trying to act like I'm a pro from the start. hahahaha More...
Left my gym 6 months cause for myself I'm more productive in a class setting with a instructor. I have tried quite a few places in the Heights area. Someone suggested Tough mudder in Sawyer Heights. Looked it up price range and location was right for meThats wasn't my deciding factor though. It was my phone convo with Leslie that got me in for my free trial class.. She was so nice and so helpful as i know i tend to ask a lot of questions . Go into my first class . It was challenging and fun and the instructor was great. That was my deciding factor. I signed up that day . I have taken other instructors classes there and they are just as amazing. This place isn't "clicky" like the crossfit places i have been to. Or calling new places to the area and them sounding put out to answer your questions. Here you also get so much for your money. The workouts are different everytime which is a great workout and you'll never get bored but the staff makes it even better. More...
My friend was trying out a free class cause someone she knew was a member here. She invited to try it out with her and I'm glad I did. The staff/instructor was friendly, the facility is brand new - they just opened a few weeks ago, all the equipment is new, and contrary to other CrossFit gyms, they have AC! Yay!! So the Friday we were there, it was a Tabata workout. 6 stations, 4 rounds at each station, two times through.. 20 seconds on and 10 seconds off each round. I've done this type of workout before so the only movement that was new to me was pushing the weight on the turf - that killed me. But the others were pretty standard that day - kettlebell swings, air-bikes, jump ropes, ring rows, and bicycle crunches. I like that they have TV screens at each station showing the movement, they have a running clock timing each station and telling you where you are in the REPs, each station is numbered and the equipment was organized for you and ready! The coaches pay attention and watch you to make sure you're doing it right. This is huge - a lot of CrossFit gyms lack good instructors/coaches and are not organized at all for your WODs. Overall, I liked this place and wish it was a little closer to home cause driving from the med center to the Heights in rush hour is a pain.. but that's another story for another day! :) More...
Great gym, great workout, great coaches and staff! Highly recommend.
Awesome workouts. Even better people. Seriously, if you love a good harrowing and arduous workout while being in a fun, encouraging environment - this is the place.
The team here knows how to train. Whether you’re out of shape like me or have run a half like my friends, they can help you out. I look forward to my next class here. More...
Had a great workout celebrating our engagement! The training was fun and challenging - we all loved our coach, Shayne. The facility was great and our experience couldn’t have been better!!!
UPDATE (Mar.8/19): First off, know this - it is NOT a training facility for an OCR/Tough Mudder Race. It’s just a unique/fresh spin on a regular gym. This unique gym is unlike any other facility that I know of and it works. Two months in and I’d have to say that I’m pleasantly surprised at my personal progress as a result of TMB (I believe). My overall fitness/strength level has improved and I’m having fun at the same time. The “TRIBE” atmosphere is a far departure from your typical gym where everyone is plugged in and doesn’t talk to one another. We’re all there for the same reason and supporting/pushing one another for that last rep. Give it a try. UPDATE (Jan.3/19): The TMB is now officially open and having taken a few classes, it did not disappoint. As planned, the HIIT classes are exactly that. Stations of exercises that are pre-programmed really pop your heart rate at each interval. They are scalable to any athletic level. And each class has a specific focus so you don’t get repeated exercises. The new equipment is top-notch quality and the trainers are educated and high-energy to keep you going. I highly recommend giving it a try. Really looking forward to this revitalized method of getting a workout. Unlike other gyms, the TM Bootcamp will keep people moving via the preset workouts on the monitors allowing trainers to focus on technique and keeping people engaged and moving. Any skill set and level of athlete will be able to get a high-quality workout in. More...

This is going to be great! Team workouts to be motivated and to motivate others. Looking forward to this opening up. I would recommend to everyone in the Heights area and beyond.
