“Total” is exactly right! I love how inclusive this program is. For someone who didn’t know where to start, this is perfect as a baseline for a new lifestyle! I worked with Tayla and I'm so glad I did! Tayla helped me find the balance I needed between fitness/health and also living my life and never missing out on opportunities again because of food. We have been working with Total Health and Fitness for about six months now. We are very happy with how the program has helped us improve our health. We have been working with Aubrie. She has done a great job at helping us understand the importance of fueling our bodies properly. This has made a big difference in the way we think about and choose food. The workout plans are challenging, but very doable. Aubrie explains clearly the purpose of each exercise and how to properly perform it. We are feeling much stronger and more fit! We are thrilled to have lost weight, gone down in size, lowered our A1c, and lowered our BMI—while maintaining and building muscle mass. One thing we really love about Aubrie is the way she has helped us change our approach and view of health and fitness. Their method for helping people achieve their health goals is very practical. We eat the same foods we are accustomed to, but adjust the frequency, quantity and nutritional makeup throughout the day to hit or stay below specific calories for each day. We also exercise at least three times per week to build muscle and burn fat. I'm halfway through my program and have lost half the weight/fat I need to reach my goal. I am an older woman, but have always been healthy and active. My daughter and her husband were working with Tayla, and getting great results, and were eating healthier. I went for a consultation, but still had doubts about my ability to make changes in my life. We do a lot of travelling and I had added extra pounds over the past few years. What I found was that Tayla is a great coach and motivator, and gives lots of help and encouragement. I am not quite where I want to be, but have learned a lot about what foods to eat and when, and have ramped up my workouts. I find I feel a lot better and am excited to see small improvements each week. It helps to know what to purchase at the store, and we enjoy the recipes. Working with Bailee truly could not have been better. She was upfront and honest with me from the start and educated me every step of the way to make sure I was capable of managing my weight on my own upon completing the process. Bailee became a friend to me over the course of my 6 month program and kept me accountable to help me reach my goals (I lost 10% body fat and 6 in of my waist!). As a vegetarian, I was nervous about the meal plans being bland, but they never were. She always gave me meal plans that I enjoyed and gave me workouts that pushed me to build a better body. I started going to Total Health and Fitness at the end of October 2017. I walked in at 272 pounds, high blood pressure and pre-diabetes. I am now at 237, normal blood pressure and no pre-diabetes. I don't get winded going up the stairs anymore and all the cloths I could not fit into anymore are now getting too big! I owe it all to the people at Total Health and Fitness. Working with Jaime has been life changing! She knows how to work with endurance athletes. She helped me drop from 26% body fat down to 19 % while training heavy for Ironman Oceanside 70.3. Until I did this program, I didn't think it was possible to lose weight during a half ironman training cycle due to the high volume of training you have to do. I am astounded at my results. This program taught me some important principles. I learned how to have a healthy relationship with food, and finally solved the puzzle of how to eat to perform. Jaime would dial my calories in based on my training schedule for the week, and gave me strategies for being successful fueling during long workouts. The people here are incredible! They truly care about my fitness goals and what my needs are. I started this program to see just how good they really are and I was blown away! I have exercised consistently (running, biking and some HIIT training) for years but Total Health & Fitness' program was a "whole new level" for me. Wes Barney saved my life. I would not be where I am today with out THF.
