Let me just say that Joseph Tojarieh is hands down one of the most amazing lawyers. My father hired Joseph for a claim that was worth about $11,000. Although the claim was for a small amount, Joseph believed he could a lot more after penalties, fees and interest. Since we didn't have the money to fight the case, Joseph agreed to take the case on contingency - basically, he only got paid a percentage of what he was able to recover for us. As soon as we signed up with Joseph, he hit the ground running. He was diligent, prepared, and knew the law extremely well. Unfortunately, the defendant was super wealthy and spent what seemed like an unlimited amount of money to fight the case. But Joseph was undeterred. He fought the defendant and countless attorneys that were involved in the case at very stage. Even though he doesn't practice family law or bankruptcy law, he had to litigate the case in family law court and bankruptcy court at times to make sure the defendant did not get away. After a very long and gruesome battle, Joseph was able to win over $180,000 in damages, interest, penalties and attorney fees. Yes, you read that right. $180,000 on a case that was initially worth only about $11,000!! Absolutely crazy! Best part is that he was able to collect every penny of the judgment from the defendant. Victory never tasted so sweet. Not only was Joseph a stellar advocate for us, he was accommodating and courteous throughout. He answered our phone calls and text messages promptly on his cell phone. No receptionist, no legal secretary and no junior attorney. He picked up the phone himself and spoke to us like we mattered. If you're looking for a great employment lawyer you're lucky to have landed here. Joseph answered my call right away and didn't waste any time at all to assist me with my employment issue. He's straight to the point and honest, and I even got a little schooling on a few labor laws. I have spoken to SO many employment law firms in LA and you'd be lucky to get an actual lawyer on the phone. On top of that nobody is willing to dig further into the problem because all they'd invest time is what's 100% money for them. Joseph Tojarieh has helped me and my family on multiple occasions throughout the years. In every instance, he was helpful, caring, and informative. On one occasion, we had a pressing employment law issue involving various labor issues (mostly overtime and meal breaks) that needed immediate attention. After having a few legal concerns I needed help from a reliable and knowledgeable lawyer. That's when I called Mr. Tojarieh, I then knew that he was not only willing to go the extra mile to make sure all of my questions were answered and understood; he remained prompt with his help throughout the whole process. I consulted with Tojarieh Law Firm on a sticky employment situation I recently had. Not only was Joseph very knowledgeable (not all attorneys are), he was extremely pleasant to talk to. I felt like I had known him a really long time! He took (what I felt) a lot of time out of his day to explain the document I had to go over, informed me about extra things I could negotiate or ask the employer of that I would never have been aware of on my own. I had researched and googled multiple lawyers and have spoken to many of them. With the issues that I had, which were sensitive and painfully difficult to speak about (just like all of us), to find a "lawyer" and explain and express my personal issues were beyond dreadful. I spoke with other lawyers, and they were cold, more concerned about finding a case for them.., or just giving me more anxiety.
