Perfect little place for Indian or Tibetan cuisine. They offer vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Wait staff was friendly and service was quick.

Delicious buffet, friendly service.
We came to Hopkins to go to a different restaurant, but ended up at Tibet Corner after walking by and finding ourselves unable to resist. The hostess was very polite and helpful, seating us quickly and then engaging in very friendly conversation while providing excellent service with frequent drink checks and fast food delivery. We ordered naan, and I ordered a paneer with onion and peas in a curry sauce and a chai. My friend ordered the vegetable curry and a smoothie of sorts. The drinks was ready quickly, and the food followed shortly after. The drinks were delicious, hitting the spot on a hot Saturday. The food was hot and filled with flavor. Spices were balanced and rich, and the textures were perfect. We ended up eating all do the naan, and taking leftovers home (which did not last long!)Definitely visit Tibet Corner if you happen to find yourself in Hopkins looking for a meal! More...
Don't be fooled by the the exterior, the food is great
Good food, great staff.

Awesome, always delicious! Friendly staff, great service!
The food is great and is reasonably priced!
So so good! The Malai Kofta and Tikka Marsala were spot on!!
Tiber Corner has the best Shahi Korma. I also love the beef Momo's. I always go here when I am dogsitting in Downtown Hopkins and I always leave wanting to come back the next day.
Wow. A fantastic experience and great food. Will come again for sure. The service was excellent and the Indian and Tibetan cuisine was authentic and delicious.
Been here a few times and the food is always spectacular. It seems there is only one person that works the front of the house (same guy every time) but he is friendly, helpful, and knows the food like the back of his hand. There aren't too many good restaurants in the neighborhood, but it is good there is an excellent place like Tibet Corner to set the (wet high) bar. Maybe those other places will try and up their game. More...
Tibet Corner has amazing food at a reasonable price. The Indian menu items are very well done. Tasty and good portions. The Tibetan menu items are unique and delicious. These are dishes I haven't encountered anywhere else. I have been back several times to have favorites again and to try new items. The restaurant is cozy and decorated with a personal touch. The staff is really friendly, providing great service. Their patio is fantastic on nice days. Go there and enjoy! More...
Really good food and quick service
Very good food, excellent chai tea
I usually go there to eat the lamb biryani. Love it
Nice place, clean, food is delicious. Waitress is top of line.
Excellent!! The Cho-mein was so tasty and I got enough for two meals. My companion loved the butter chicken. Best naan I think I've ever had... Crispy outside, pillowy tender inside. Great service too. This may become a new favorite! More...
This place was unexpectedly great. I got the paleek paneer and a lamb dish to go. The portions were huge and I honestly ate too much because I loved it so much. I will for sure be back.
They know the meaning of spicyness. Most places in Minnesota, think 5 star spice is equivalent to brown sugar. These people know what's up. Absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back More...
Friendly staff, great food, reasonable prices.
I thoroughly enjoy eating here, and I've been multiple times. They have a lunch buffet I haven't yet tried. Overall, great location, food and service. The amount of patrons isn't high at any given time, so the service is good but their sometimes a little overwhelmed with the amount of guests. Also they have more limited options than I hoped for Tibetan food with the mix of Indian cuisine. But still, all the menu I've tried is good. More...

This is my favorite restaurant! I love paneer dishes, and the paneer tikka masala here is by far the best I've ever had! The curry is delicious and flavorful, and nothing beats their iced chai. Additionally, my husband and our friends can never get enough of the chicken lollipops. More...
This is my favorite spot in downtown Hopkins. They have many of the Indian standards you would expect, but the most interesting part for us has been the Tibetan dishes. This time we started with the Momo - ground beef dumplings with a distinct cumin flavor. We also had Dumpling Soup (Mok-thuk), Biryani, and Naan.Definitely worth a try! More...
The food was so delicious! Service was awesome! Cute little place. Will definitely be back to try more food on the menu!
Spontaneous dinner with the kids one night. A modest operation with great food and service. Good portion sizes, modest pricing, food selections for a variety of palates. Recommend the dumplings and the lo mein. Kids were so pleased that they wanted to personally thank the chef and server :)We’d go back anytime! More...
Very good tasty indian food
Lunch buffet was delicious
Really great, authentic food. The staff was also very nice. A great place for lunch or casual Dinner out.
Mary Beth Pottratz
Delicious beef momos and chow mein. Casual, small corner restaurant with patio on Hopkins' Mainstreet. Will try weekday lunch buffet next visit.
Don't be misled by the humble appearance, the food here is dynamite. Big take out business, but the dine in experience is nice as well. Service is attentive, speedy, and courteous. Traditional Indian dishes like paneer and samosas are fantastic, but venture out into the Tibetan dishes and experience some new flavors of delicious. The dumplings are a filling favorite and outstanding! More...

This is fast turning out to be my go-to restaurant. I love the curries here!
Awesome food. Would go back again. Really friendly and helpful service
It is the best
I’ve been to Tibet, Nepal, and India and can confirm they serve authentic and delicious food albeit in an upscale and beautiful little corner restaurant. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. I hope to patronize this family-run small business in Hopkins for many more years to come. More...
Good food, quick service, reasonable prices
One of the delicious MoMo I have from West-coast to East-coast.
The food is great! I've tried a few different items and they all tasted wonderful!! I'll definitely be back!
Good food and good service. Waitress warned us what was unavailable before we looked at the menu.
Nice place great food
Delicious food, friendly service. Everything I have tried off their menu so far had been fantastic, and the lunch buffet is super good!! Highly recommended!!
Naan was very good as were the momos.
First time here. Very diverse menu. Owners are from India and Tibet. Nice people and great parking. I had one of the soups, which I highly recommend. They have a lunch buffet for $9.99 that I plan to check out, as well! More...
Delicious! We've come a couple times. Other posts complained about dry rice, but to us it was perfect for the curry and other sauces. They accommodated my food allergies well and fed our entire family. Will certainly come again as one of our favorite places to eat out! More...
Seriously, why haven't I come here sooner? I ordered takeout today. Got the Chicken Tikka Masala, Paneer Mahkani, and Chicken stir fry to share between my wife and I. The fear with takeout food is that it's going to be room temperature by the time you get home and ready to eat. Oh man. This place does not disappoint. The Tikka Masala was killer and rice was the most perfect I've ever had in my life. It was still hot!I thought the price was a little steep BUT the portions were big enough that my wife and I could separate it over 3 meals. That means that the price is VERY REASONABLE. All the yelpers complaining about this place are on their high horse and super whiny. Watch the South Park episode that makes fun of Yelp- it is very accurate. You've got a new customer for life! Love this place! Very chill vibes and amazing vegan food. 100% recommend for anyone and especially vegans.
My boyfriend and I just moved to the area and we were so excited to see a Tibetan and Indian restaurant. We went on a really nice evening and sat on the patio and it was great! Service was a little slow but it was definitely okay since she was the only server around and it was pretty busy. Food was awesome and we can’t wait to try more! More...
Biked there twice from home. Had the buffet for a reasonable amount of money. The food is tasty, sauces runny but flavorful, spices compatible with Minnesota palates. We also had mango lassi, which looked homemade and was delicious. More...
I just had the Chicken Biryani... YUM!!
First time stopping in got the recommended house beef dish at a medium hot and it was a awesome first experience, highly recomend. :)
The family restaurant was highly recommended from my sister who comes here often and always raves about. The restaurant was pretty clean and the bathroom was spotless. The host/server was gracious and very attentive.I am lactose intolerant and took the time to show me everything on the buffet that I could have and also some on the menu. For the price the food was amazing. I also ordered the tofu momo which didn’t look appetizing but was delicious had a spinach wrapping on it. It took quite a while to get it but was worth the wait. I cannnot wait to go back with my sister and try more things from there menu. I highly recommend this place... More...
This place is super small, but cute. I went for the lunch buffet and it was yummy. I was kind of disappointed that every time I went to get more naan they were out. Yet they were so busy there were no open tables. otherwise, it was good. More...

Very good food and service in an unpretentious atmosphere.
Our first visit - we'll be back.
We eat here quite often and it is always great with friendly staff.
Wonderful food, great atmosphere and the people are very friendly
Tiene un Buffet de barra libre, variado, de comida de la India y del Tibet, buen sabor, opción balanceada, bueno para vegetarianos a un precio justo.
This place is amazing! I love the tibentan chow mein and the noodle soups! I always order takeout and it's always a seamless, quick proccess. The location is perfect and they have a cute little patio as well :) the chef here has cooked for the Dalai Lama before! More...
Me and my wife keep coming back to this place! This quaint and cozy restaurant is our go-to whenever we crave Indian or Tibetan food. The staff is very friendly! Their food is some of the most authentic tasting that's around this area and their Chai is fantastic with a hint of saffron! For parents with children, they have high chairs! More...
A hidden gem in downtown Hopkins. Great Tibetan and Indian food. There is a picture of the owner(?) with the Dalai Lama on the wall. Definitely going back!
This is my favorite restaurant. Probably ever. Good food and a delightful atmosphere, and wonderful staff. I'd give it 40 stars if I could.
Great Food, they use good spices and nothing artificial. When we went, the heater was not working and there was no buffet. Also we were the only ones there LOL. Rest assured the food was delicious and would highly recommend. More...
One of our favorites. Helpful staff and good sized portions. The beef shapta is a sort of tibetan curry but uniquely seasoned. Good Indian dishes available--the lamb curry and chicken tikka marsala are excellent. Don't be afraid to ask for guidance, but you can't go far wrong if you just guess. Fine patio in summer, too. Was there for lunch. Nice buff and food was good.

I drive over the road and the few times i manage to be routed to the Minneapolis area (which is not often), i make the effort to drop by Tibet Corner to get some takeout. The Tibetan butter tea is to die for (but it is an unusual taste for the average American pallate, so be prepared)! The food is excellent too, never been dissapointed and the owner, Tenzing, is extremely friendly and great to chat with while you are waiting for your takeout. If i lived in Minneapolis, i would be a regular guest here. For now, i hope to be back soon! More...
Really like their food, good place all around
Surprisingly good food and good service.
Food is always good. The lunch buffet is a good way to sample a bit of the menu, but ordering from the menu is best. I've been coming here regularly since they opened, and almost everything I tried was fantastic. My favorites are the chana cho-ley (chickpea masala), sha bakla (crispy beef filled pastries), and chicken lollipops. If you eat meat, you have to try the lollipops! Crispy, salty, and perfectly seasoned. If you're unsure what to order, don't hesitate to ask. The staff is friendly and they love giving suggestions. More...
Excellent! Great breezy patio and savory eats!
Tasty, with good service.
Yummy . Went there for dinner on Sunday. A Decent restaurant owns and run by a family.Ambience - Very simple ambiance with comfortable seats. they have open seating area too. We decided to seat outside because the weather was perfect.Service - Very quick and nice service. The lady who served us is very helpful. As we are vegetarian, She suggested us good options.Food - Love the food. A good number of items for vegetarians. We ordered Veg Tibetan Chow-Mein, Tofu momo [8 pieces] andVeg Tibetan Noodle Soup (Gya-Thuk) [quantity is good for 3 people]Cost- It costs us around $11 per person.Overall, a good place to eat and in a budget.Note- Parking lot is behind the restaurant. As the road work is in progress, you might need to enter from the back. More...
Great healthy whole food, always great service too!
Great lunch buffet and friendly staff.
Feels like home cooking! Not fancy or huge food portions, but great food and friendly staff. Definitely recommended!
So good. Small place that I love to support. Friendly staff and management, especially if you become a regular, which you likely will
Loved the food and the service was great! Most of the menu can be made vegetarian/vegan if you want. You have the option to sit indoors or in an enclosed and covered area outside.
Ate outside in perfect weather and the food was delicious. The garlic Naan was perfect and the buttered shrimp and shrimp curry was great. Everything tasted fresh and the service was great. More...
Amazing food one of my favorites
Quick service offered with request and tasty dishes.
Small lunch buffet but good.
The dining area is lackluster and service can be slow but the food is so, so good. It's worth it. I've never had a bad bite in the 7 or so times I've eaten there.
Very good food. Fun pics of Dalai lama in restaurant.
Good all you can eat buffer
Excellent food! Friendly service! We have been here many times. Delicious!
This is a cosy independent restaurant with an Indian lunch buffet and an outdoor patio, decorated with prayer flags. Very affordable for families. The lamb biryani is excellent - spicy, but not too; rice is fresh; and the lamb is perfectly done. The other dish I liked best was the chicken '65' - juicy chicken in a sauce which is savory without being overpowering. Curry was a little runny but had a fine flavour. The channa cho-ley was also tasty; only the dal tasted a little strange. This place is quite kid-friendly, with watermelon and kheer (my kids weren't yet adventurous enough to try and enjoy) and crispy nan. The service we had was attentive and thoughtful. It's a bit out of the way for us, but I don't regret coming here. Recommended. More...
Good food. Nice people. But the food took a little long to get.
I really like the lunch buffet here even thought they say what is gluetin free I have issues with some of the items. I have not narrowed it down to what food I have issues with yet I hope it is not the chicken 65.
The food was great! I'll be back!
Authentic Tibetan food plus selections from India. Consistently great food and service. The owner is always there and helpful with suggestions. If you ask them to make the food spicy hot, even "Indian hot," they make it great. Vegetable samosas are a wonderful starter appetizer. Limited selections of wine and beer. Pleasant outdoor seating in summer. More...
Delightfully not over spiced. So many Indian restaurants give my friends indigestion while I'm more used to heavy spices. Tibet Corner has a buffet with Indian food offerings with on menu only Tibetan dishes. The music soundtrack is mostly Tibetan in flavor with Buddhist themes woven through some of them which adds to the authentic atmosphere of Indo-Tibetan blend. More...
The food was OMG good. The young lady who was our waitress was very very nice. She answered our questions about the food, and about Tibet itself. If we had any questions, she was very helpful about answering them. I think her name was Chimmy. I think we found our new spot to eat. More...

Great food and lots of options. Have gone here several times for carry out. The dining room is a little cozy but the patio looks great in the summer.
The Paneer Makhani is AMAZING!!! I also really enjoyed the naan: buttery, just the right amount of garlic, crispy on the edges and bottom, mmmmmmm. So good. Really very reasonably priced as well. More...

Amazing food! Great service. Love that most dishes can be made vegetarian and even vegan!
This place had a small buffet but with plenty of different choices for the day. The price was really good and we found in our group that the Tibetian chicken dishes were not dry like with many curry based items. They also have the option that you pay the same amount to have the ability to fill up a to go container instead of eating inside the restaurant. More...

Great lunch buffet and very affordable.
I can't describe how good this is- if you don't thin kids will like it much, I do and I am a teen
Love, love, love the beef shap-ta!! Can't get enough!
Good food, but was disappointed that instead of having normal naan (yum!) they had pita naan, which wasn't as good.
My daughter and I came in a few weeks ago on a Saturday, hoping to have the lunch buffet to try all their different authentic foods. We found out that the buffet is during the week, so we were not sure what to order. The owner came over and helped my daughter order and answered all of our questions. He was VERY nice and gave us great suggestions. It was DELICIOUS! We ordered the butter chicken and beef momos along with steamed dumplings. It was all AMAZING! So much flavor and hefty portions. We had leftovers that we had for dinner that night. The owner also gave us a coupon to come back!My daughter had been asking to go back since school got out, so we can enjoy the buffet. We finally went today and used our coupon and got to enjoy the buffet. The buffet was great! We tried so many different foods and it was all great! We had to order the steamed dumplings because they were not on the buffet, but they were only $3. We ate until we were full. The curry chicken was so good! We ordered a side of curry chicken to go and just ate it for dinner with our steamed dumpling leftover. The food was GREAT! We will be back for sure and we want to bring my dad with so he can enjoy this amazing authentic food! More...

Not only was our food absolutely amazing but our server, Tenzing was fantastic! It was our first time at this restaurant and our first time trying actual Tibetan/Indian food and she was super helpful letting us know what sauces typically went with what and in general teaching us a lot. Chow mein was mind-blowing. Didn't care as much for the steamed beef momos.
Food wasn't too bad. Friendly service. Good location.
This is the best restaurant on Main Street, hands down!Everything we've had here has been delicious, and so flavorful. Their garlic naan is a must, and goes great with everything. Prices are very fair, and the service is great. The menu has such a wide variety, and we can't wait to keep trying more items. My husband and I absolutely love Tibet Corner. Their food is always really delicious and staff is friendly (they always smile at our baby and are very welcoming to families). Try the lunch buffet on weekdays- it has a lot of great options and is the best way to try a bunch of different dishes at once to find your favorites. If you go for dinner, try their Chai and a few of their appetizers. "Tibet Corner is one my favorite places on earth," raves my 11-year-old daughter. Last year it was her choice for her birthday dinner. Fantastic fresh food every time we go. This food was delicious! I had this vegetable and rice dish with the garlic naan-wow, so good! The staff was very friendly, and the outside seating is great for dining al fresco.
Being honest, I really wasn't encouraged to come into the restaurant in the beginning because of the quiet and dim atmosphere, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the amazing food. I came in with my family of four, and we ordered the naan bread and chicken lollipops are starters. Both are great, especially the naan bread that we dipped into the butter chicken (entree). For myself, I ordered the lamb curry which tastes amazing mixed with the rice that comes on the side with the order. Next time I come to Bloomington, I will definitely stop by here again! More...
This is one of the best Tibetan restaurants I have been to! The service was excellent and food was amazing! Had the vegetable momo and the chicken curry. We've been meaning to eat here since it opened and finally made it in tonight for dinner. The staff was pleasant and attentive. We love Indian food but had never had Tibetan food so wanted to focus on that and asked her for recommendations. We ordered what she suggested, and shared family style, which she nicely brought us extra small plates. Food came quickly and was fresh and hot. Everything was great. Super delicious, great flavor and variety. We had our five year old with us and she recommended two things for him and he loved them both (the chicken lollipops and the potato bean dish- he loved the noodles in it!) as well as the momos. The potato bean was our favorite (order naan with it to soak up the awesome broth) and the appetizer sampler was a great mix. Loved the spicy potatoes in the sampler especially. We will definitely be back to try more dishes! More...
This reviews ONLY the lunch buffet. Not too shabby. I can't vouch for if they offer completely vegan dishes, but for the vegetarian crowd, this works. I took some family here who were visiting from out of state and looking to try something new. They really enjoyed it. I did too. It was nothing fancy. We went at 2 pm on a Monday, so it was the end of the lunch buffet (several options available...at least a dozen different things to choose from). There were 5 other people dining in there for the total of about an hour that we were there, so it was very quiet. The restaurant is quite small but they have a nicely sized outdoor patio area. The bathroom was incredibly clean. Overall a good experience and I would return! More...
Great family owned restaurant. Service is excellent! And the food is amazing!
We were in town for the Hopkins Raspberry Fesrival and came upon this new restaurant. We love Indian food and wanted to try it. We were not disappointed. As an unassuming corner restaurant across the street from a Chipotle I'd been by many times and never thought twice about trying this place out. What a huge mistake.A friend and I met for dinner and the food and service are both killer. The restaurant was pretty drafty so if it's cold out wear a sweater, but the food makes this 5-stars. Went to Tibet Corner for the first time tonight. The food was delicious. I had the fried beef momo and a buttered tea and my friend had the beef shapta, both of which were delicious. Arrived before close on a Saturday evening a few weeks ago. I loved the warm colors and simple decorations along the walls - it felt very intentional. I was served by the restaurant owner, and ordered his recommendation, a Tibetan beef soup. It wasn't only delicious, but I felt invigorated by the warmth of the soup. Speaking with one of the cooks later on, he informed me that in Tibet, they often eat the soup everyday during the winters, as it's very healthful.I've been twice more for the lunch time buffet - a great way to enjoy traditional Indian food while in Hopkins. I tried one of each item in the lunch buffet. I was expecting some good and some bad, but every single thing was amazing. I came back just now for dinner. Very authentic and friendly
Good lunch buffet, friendly atmosphere, glad to have Indian food back in Hopkins
Everything here is so fresh and flavorful! One of my favorite places in downtown Hopkins! I hope it sticks around. It may not have the fanciest exterior but don't let that dissuade you. Covered patio is a great way to spend the afternoon. The soups are delicious and the chicken lollipops and samosas are amazing. Don't let this good thing go, Hopkins! Be sure to visit :) More...

So good! Fried beef momos and the cabbage salad went great together. Noodles and fried rice were fantastic too. So glad this place is here, we will be back!
I stopped in for lunch.I'm very picky about my Indian food, it was great! The lamb curry was on point. The only thing I would change is lemons wedges for after eating to get the food smell off your hands :-)
My 6 year old had her pick of anywhere to go for Valentine's Day and she wanted Butter Chicken and Fried Beef Momos from here. We didn't argue. So good.
We had the appetizer sampler, butter chicken and beef shap-ta. Unique tastes, delicious fluffy rice and great service to help us with our first Tibetan cuisine experience. Yummy Naan, too. Thanks!
This restaurant has fantastic food. I was in the mood for some rice and beans and was headed over to Chipotle (kiddie corner to Tibet Corner on Main St) when my eyes were drawn to the prayer flags in front of Tibet Corner, flapping in the wind. I was surprised to find this East Asian Gem in downtown Hopkins, and the chef did not disappoint. I would HIGHLY suggest this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and delicious Tibetan/Indian cuisine. The rice and daal (beans) is phenomenal! More...
We stopped in right before they were tearing down their lunch buffet. We begged to bat clean up, they obliged. Some of the best food I've had in a long time. Their rice pudding was some of the best I've ever had. More...
Stopped in here for a family meal before seeing a Christmas show over at Stages theater company down the street. We were disappointed the buffet wasn't offered on account of it being Sunday (which is dinner all day I guess). We ordered several plates of Indian food which we ended up passing around and sharing. Pretty standard stuff. Chicken Biryani, Chicken Masala, Some kind of beef meatball potstickers, and Naan. All of the portions were very generous - except the Naan. An order of Naan ended up consisting of two half-circles or bread. At our normal Indian joint in Wayzata an order of Naan is a basket piled high with several full pieces per person! We also enjoyed the jasmine tea, which was mild and relaxing. The staff was very friendly, and the prices were reasonable. This will be our go-to meal spot for seeing shows again! More...
When I first heard of a new indian/tibetan restaurant coming to my side of town I immediately hopped on the opportunity to get a hold of them and suggest they mark veganizable options on their menu, they were right on it! I've ordered dal and somosas for take out, always excellent, and the lunch buffet is great. Just make sure to ask which items are vegan. Their fried rice is amazing! When I've been for lunch it has always been between one of two regulars working. The girl does fine, just not overly smiley or welcoming. The guy is great! Talkative and makes sure you are enjoying your meal. More...
I LOVE this place so very much. I just moved from California this year and have found myself in quite the food culture shock being in a new state and on the outskirts of the city. I was definitely craving some authentic culture. Needless to say, My fiance and I were SUPER excited to see a Tibetan/Indian restaurant was opening less than a block away from our place. And even more exited when we learned how delicious it really was.My goal is to try everything on the menu and so far, I have not been disappointed with one thing! Just delicious. Beef Momos, Muttar Panner, these are just a few of my favorite things. Also, I FEEL as if the service is fantastic. They are extremely friendly & attentive (even when it's busy). On one occasion, I brought a friend who was visiting and they were SUPER accommodating to her special diet needs. Saddens me that people would think otherwise. Long story short, I would eat here every day if I could. More...
Small place with lots of Indian and tibetan dishes to chose from. I liked that the Indian dish I got wasn't just mostly sauce with just small chunks of meat. The food had good pieces of chicken with just enough spices and rice to have good flavor. The portions were generous and the wait staff very friendly. I am looking forward to going back and trying their other dishes. More...
Charming restaurant with EXCELLENT food. Love that everything is fresh. On q chilly night, I had the Thentuk, a soup with homemade noodles and lots of veggies. And the steamed dumplings? Wow. Just wow. I'll be back. More...
So happy to see this place open in downtown Hopkins! Their food is really yummy, their service is awesome, and their prices are extremely reasonable. We will absolutely be going back.
Small place - simple but awesome food.. !! Not too spicy (that's the good part) , yet has the right flavor's
I've been here a couple of times now for the lunch buffet, and it is very good, with friendly service and a good number of options at a reasonable price. Looking forward to trying it for a meal from the menu as well. More...
Small cute cozy. Complimentary jasmine tea is tasty and goes perfectly with the food. The soups are huge. I had the palak paneer. So delicious and buttery. Rich and warm. I'd also recommend the fried beef momos....Unfortunately on my second visit we were overcharged for the lunch buffet. Something to watch out for! More...
Decided to give this place a try. The lamb curry was delicious. It was served with a side of rice. My only negative is that the way it's prepared it's full of bones. I had to be careful biting and chewing because of small bone chips and half my bowl was large chunks of bone. More...
Good restaurant..very reasonable price comparing to other Indian/South Asian restaurant
Great cozy spot for Tibetan and Indian food. The lamb curry is excellent. Plenty of tasty lamb (probably cooked bone-in--a little annoying if you're a fast eater, but the secret of great flavor). The steamed mo-mos are just as good, and the 8 of them in an order are easily enough for lunch. A mango lassi is a fine accompaniment. The potato bean (beef, bean thread and potato) is very good--plenty of beef and a nice beefy broth. A good way to start appreciating Tibetan food. Every entree is served mild, so if you want spicy, make sure to ask. Tibet Corner is a great addition to the Hopkins restaurant scene, and good place to stop for take-out after a bike ride. More...

I went to the Tibet Kitchen on Monday night, opening night no less. I picked up three entree menu items take out for a friend and myself. The food was wonderful. I ordered a couple of different Momo options along with a full rice plate. I would recommend this place for either dine in or take out. As a matter of fact, I will be going there tonight for take out this evening. Many thanks. Kellie H. Edina/Hopkins, MN/ More...
My wife and I were there Monday for opening night. Everything we had was very good. We will definitely be back... a lot. The service was very friendly and helpful. There were a couple of bumps in the road as it was there first night. Nothing unexpected, though. I'm sure they'll get it dialed in very soon. So far, it could become a new favorite of ours. More...
Stopped by and tried the buffet to go. Delicious!!! I wish I would've stayed so I could've tried more foods. I look forward to eating there again! It's a small place though. I imagine the tables will fill up fast. More...
i stopped by for the lunch buffet. Very reasonable for $8.99. The selection is good -- All of the food is hot and fresh. The meat dishes included a chicken curry and also a beef dish. My favorite was the Palak Paneer. It was rich in flavor and tasted like is was slow-cooked. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive and also provided complimentary jasmine tea. The restaurant itself is very clean and bright.Overall, this was a nice lunch and Tibet Corner offers patrons something different from the usual fare around the Hopkins downtown area. I'll stop in again for sure. I would certainly suggest that everyone gives it a try and you will likely be pleasantly surprised! More...
My housemate and I have been eagerly awaiting the opening of this eatery since we saw the signs a few weeks ago. So worth the wait! We came for dinner, and clearly both the kitchen and waitstaff were rounding out a busy day...but friendly service and regoshdarndiculously good food more than made up for minor snafus and delays. The lamb biryani is fragrant with cardamom, pepper, cloves, the whole nine yards. Housie, who is from Texas, had the handmade Tibetan noodle soup with beef, which tasted like a heartier pho. He's no longer worried about surviving the MN winter! They serve a variety of momos (aromatic stuffed dumplings), both vegetarian and meat-filled, fried and steamed. We had the steamed beef momo, and they were insanely rich/flavorful. If you eat meat, DO NOT MISS THESE. The dipping sauce they come with is quite spicy- less is more.We asked the chef to choose our dessert, and were served the tsampa cake- a hand pressed barley/milk/sugar confection, topped with ice cream, which melts and infuses into the cake. It has a dense, peanutbutter-like texture, and a light barley flavor, but is not overly sweet. I don't think it will be a big hit (just because it's not the sweet baked cake that one might imagine), but I hope it will remain on the menu, as I quite liked it.Overall, we are very excited by this addition to the neighborhood, and can't wait to try the lunch buffet!
