Excellent, consistent beers with a wide range of styles. They take some chances and there are rarely misses. The food is equally impressive. The menu is constantly changing and reflective of the season. There is always something new and different to try, along with the mainstays like the 40 Mile Philly. My husband and I regularly head to 3 notch’d and love the brews there! The bartenders are incredible, especially Jay and Juan. They are friendly, hospitable, and quick to take care of our needs. I cannot say enough great things about this place. The beer is fantastic, the food is super delicious, the staff is very friendly and the place is extremely inviting. They are also very dog friendly. The server even offered to hold my dog while I was using the restroom. Plenty of outside seating and very pleasant environment. Plenty of parking at the main entrance and on the street. These guys are awesome!!! Excellent hazy IPA....looks like pear juice!!! YUM. They had just opened their second location and had opened a small outside patio and allowed our 7 week old puppy Leo to visit back in March 2019. Excellent wait staff!!!!

I planned a pre-baby brunch for a friend here. She wanted a very casual atmosphere and wanted her guests to be able to enjoy some delicious beverages even though she couldn't. This place was perfect! The food was fantastic and Jennifer at Three Notch'd assisted with having appetizers pre-ordered for guests and the chef agreed to make an entire flourless chocolate cake for our table. Everything about the event was fantastic. They seated us in a section where we had privacy which we all appreciated for maximum socialization within our group. LOVED this place. Yeah, it is a little off the main downtown pedestrian area, but only a 4-5 minute walk away. And they have much more space to spread out and a really nice and open outdoor seating area. Staff are friendly and quick. Most importantly, the beers are awesome (loved the Watermelon Gose - tasted like jolly rancher and Minute Man IPA - a truly unique flavor) and the food was delicious (short rib entree was beautifully presented with a great variety of flavors). They had plenty of water to keep hydrated. We tried South Street on the same evening and no question agreed, this place would be our choice to return to again. More...

Excellent range of beers - possibly largest range in C'ville. Really enjoyed the NEIPA but the (watermelon and passionfruit) sours were just a little too sweet for me on this visit.

The beers were good and the server was pleasant. We did need to find him to get refills and ask for napkins. The garlic Parmesan fries we ordered were delicious and provided a nice snack for three people. There were a lot of flies around the bar at the time we went, which was annoying at worst. BUT it would be awesome if for a major sporting event, with 200 plus people in the beer hall you could turn up the volume, it is the final of the World Cup, we are all here for it, and would have been amazing to watch Team USA win with sound and experience the full atmosphere! I have a semi-rare food allergy to all mammal meats (alpha-gal allergy) - bad enough I carry and epi pen at all times. i can't eat any mammal meat or have any cross contamination. Eating out is rare for us now a days, as you can imagine. but being from out of town and it being my husbands birthday, we wanted to take him out. i contacted them prior to our arrival via email and alls i can say is Alexis (manager), Sam (chef) and Jacob (server)...THANK YOU! You guys gave me several options and ensured I was safe checking all ingredients and how it was prepared. you knew exactly what to do the moment i walked in the door. it was one of the few times I could go out, eat, and not be an anxious mess! i had no reactions and you guys were super nice, cool, accommodating for all my requests. you have no idea how refreshing that can be!
