This pertains to the Bills Fan Fest yesterday.
This was an early surprise 67th birthday present from my daughter and I, and her, couldn't have been more disappointed.
She purchased 2 VIP packages with the hopes I could get my #12 Kelly jersey signed. You would think Mr. Superstar could have at least arrived on time since his Foundation was one of the beneficiaries of the Fan Fest. Instead he strolls in 5 min. before the stage portion of the program is to begin, quickly signs a couple of items and then takes off for the stage. While on stage I notice many people with no wrist band on getting items signed, this goes on for about an hour. I (semi)patiently waited for, what I was told by the staff, his return to the table to sign some more items. As the other alumni started coming back I did not see Mr. HOF '02 anywhere. It seems not only that he can't be bothered to arrive on time he also has to leave as early as possible so he doesn't have to mingle with the "common folk". Mr. All Pro, I could be way off with my observations but perception is reality to most people. If I'm wrong, I apologize...if I'm right, you're a dick I've lost all respect for.
I feel most sorry for my daughter because of the thoughtfulness and effort she put into this, she was more disappointed than I was. Those of you who didn't attend the Fan Fest, good for you, it was very poorly organized. I fully expect this post to disappear shortly so a I'm copying it just in case. Have a nice day.
