Great place to host an event. My Daughter's bridal shower went so smoothly on a horrible rainy day. The service here was excellent and the food was awesome! Guests are still complimenting us on how good everything was. Due in large part to the Warren City Club. Thank You!! More...

What a great hidden gem on a Sunday morning! Excellent brunch menu, bottomless mimosas, and a gorgeous little roof deck set back just a little off the action on N Highland Ave. This is our second visit - both times we enjoyed a friendly, warm and attentive staff and terrific brunch fare. We'll keep returning whenever we're in Atlanta on a Sunday! More...

My wife and I recently got married here. For a small wedding (about 50) the price is great and you get quality food. Callie was very communicative and accommodating. She was so sweet to answer our gazillion questions leading up to the event. The location is convenient and pretty accessible. It was a beautiful ceremony and reception!I stressed a lot (hello, wedding planning) and I really didn't need to! Callie kept me calm leading up to and the morning of the ceremony when I started to stress about all the things. She said everything would be fine and it was, without a doubt. She was so great! Callie and team worked in the background during the event and I was surprised at the times I would blink and certain aspects were taken care of without me seeing it happen. Major shout out to Kristi! She also popped up during all the right times to help calm my nerves AND the nerves of a 3-year old who was impatient waiting for the cake to be cut, lol. The food was delicious as were the drinks! I enjoyed the salmon and my wife loved the chicken. The guests seemed to enjoy it all as well! The Warren City Club staff are amazing and we would DEFINITELY host another event here! Thank you to EVERYONE who helped make our special day so beautiful. More...

Why did I not know this gem existed? Right above dark horse tavern? My husband and I, accompanied by a friend, stopped in for brunch. It was Memorial Day weekend but we were seated right away. Patio looked welcoming but we chose to sit inside as it was a bit, well, hot as hell outside. Staff was intuitive and friendly. Bloody Marys were yum! Brunch was satisfying. We will be back. We loved the space too. Neat little place! More...

This place is awesome!! My sister and I went for Sunday brunch. The atmosphere is nice, the staff is super friendly and literally applauded when we walked in (probably because we were the first ones there lol), and the food is incredible. I had chicken and waffles and my sister had French toast and both were really good. The bottomless mimosas were also great; the cranberry mimosa may be the best I've ever had! I highly recommend this place for a great brunch on a nice Sunday. Eat out on the rooftop if the weather is nice! The perfect restaurant in Atlanta to feel that local vibe both day and night. Recently visited Atlanta from Miami and on our first night on the town this is where we spent most of our time. Everywhere is was pretty crowded and the guy girl ratio was off... way more guys. Which I guess can be a good thing but we are probably more used to Miami where there are 5 girls to every guy. If you go upstairs at night there's a $15 cover for girls and $20 for guys. Which makes for a slimmer crowd. We loved it here either way tho. The bathrooms were clean and the bar wasn't obsessively crowded so the bar tenders were quick to attend and deliver. The music was good. There's an indoor area and an outdoor area that is lit up and very pretty. Without even realizing it we ended up back here for brunch. We got eggs Benedict, chicken and waffles and bottomless mimosassss. The weather was perfect so we sat outside and chugged mimosas. The waiter was so nice she kept our glasses full and took a million pics of us happily and even told us how to pose... GREATLY appreciated. We paid the bill but still had to wait for a friend and they told us to please wait as long as we needed and even kept refilling our mimosas! The bar tenders during the day were also nice and gave us a bunch of tips of where to go. Awesome must go to place! More...

I never knew this place existed. But I'm glad I do now. This place is hidden right behind Dark Horse Tavern, so you can't really see it when your on VA-Highland. I was brought here as a plus one to my friend's holiday party. They rented out the entire place for a couple of hours on a Saturday night. The place is very small and cozy! I had always wondered about this place as I have eaten nearby on many occasions. It is a members only establishment that has a restaurant and serves as a club in the evening. They also host private events. I attempted a previous visit, but was couldn't go since they had such an event. From their website:We happily accept reservations from members & potential members for dinner.  Potential members pay a $10 per person entry which may be applied to their membership fee if they apply within 30 days.  Sunday Brunch is open to everyone; no entry fees apply! My visit was prompted by a voucher deal for $50 worth of food and drink which covered the non-member entrance fee. There is a small amount of parking right by the restaurant. Likely you will have to use a pay lot or park on the street. Signage was adequate to direct us to the restaurant (entrance is at the back of Dark Horse). As a non-member, you will need to use the buzzer at the door to enter. The Warren is set up more as a club rather than a restaurant. There were only a few tables. And during the night they were rolling out tabletops to accommodate new patrons. My friend and I thought that was so odd! Anywho. We asked the waitress a number of questions, but she didn't really seem knowledgable about what was popular among patrons. We ordered the bacon wrapped mignonettes to start. Though the tomato-y sauce that came with the dish looked very unappetizing, this dish was pretty good. Definitely needed the flavor from the sauce. I also ordered a caesar salad, but I wasn't a huge fan of it. I add some pepper to help it out. I guess I just didn't like the dressing too much. For my entree, I got the Warren Burger - boursin cheese, diced onions & tomatoes, w/ red pepper aioli on an onion roll. My friend ordered the Royale with Cheese - topped w/ brie, tomato jam, & fried onions. I ordered mine medium well, my friend medium. When our burgers arrived, we each received one patty of each (their burgers are all two patties). So we had to send them back. Once we got to taste them, they were great! For sides, we had the chili butter brussel sprouts (very interesting take and pretty good) and jalapeño cornbread pudding (I thought this was OK, my friend loved it). If I had room, I woulda got the Krispy Kreme donut bread pudding (cool!). I was just too full.Overall, we had a pretty good night trying out this spot. More...

I cannot say enough nice things about The Warren City Club. It's truly a hidden gem of Atlanta. We just had our rehearsal brunch here and it was beyond amazing.First of all, Kristi and her assistant Summer were great during the planning process - they really listened to what my now husband and I wanted for our rehearsal brunch. They helped us create a delicious brunch menu for our families (and at an affordable price)! By the way, their white sangria is to die for :)When we arrived at Warren City Club, we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Right next to the dining area was a balcony that overlooked the Atlanta skyline. Warren is on the list of my favorite bars in Atlanta, not question about it. I've been here on a few occasions now.- GREAT DJ - I knew I'd like this place when Juicy J was blasting the moment I walk in. Its a solid mix of rap and pop party music and I absolutely love that part.- DIVERSE CROWD. As much as you can stereotype and label certain places in Atlanta, The Warren makes that job a little harder. I can say that the age range is in the 20s as many of the surrounding bars, but otherwise it was a mix of students from the city and young professionals. No little five hipster scene, no buckhead polo ex frat boy scene, folks are just down to have a good time here.- AWESOME PATIO, WHEN ITS NOT RAINING. Because it's so loud inside, patio is a great escape if you want to have a conversation without straining your vocal cords. It's spacious, but the cover on the ceiling is not rainproof and will leak. You have been warned.- NEED BETTER VODKA - now this is a complaint I have for several bars in Atlanta, but they need some belvedere, Russian standard, Chopin, sobieski, I don't care. But grey goose just does not cut it for me. More...

Event: Whiskey tasting/ birthdayContacted venue via email. Quick and personal response via email directly from chef and quickly. He was extremely accommodating making the "reservation" and even going out to buy a special whiskey he loved just for our party that they don't ordinarily stock at the bar. When we arrived at 7pm on a Saturday we had the place to ourselves for over two hours. It made the event that much more special. At just over $35 a person, we had assorted snack food and a four flight tasting for each guest. Great value. We loved the staff, they were incredibly personable and  helped to make the event that much more fun. Having the place to ourselves was priceless and although I think this was luck more than anything else we absolutely loved it.The only thing I think would have been nice would have been if our bartender had been a little more knowledgeable on the whiskeys. The chef had to leave for an event and although the testing menu at each place setting had facts about each whiskey (on where it was made, what flavors the taster might experience etc) many of us had no experience at how to tell what constitutes a good whiskey and some additional guidance would have been icing on the cake.I would highly recommend The Warren for a tasting event, I think we are even planning on coming back the The Warren for another birthday event in June because of how special, classy, fun and intimate it was. There were zero complaints from our guests, everyone was raving on how great everything went. Schedule a tasting here for your next event.  It was really too cool and so affordable. More...

My husband and I got married here recently and we had a wonderful experience.  We had about 80 people and went with heavy hors d'oeuvres and an open bar.  The entire staff was fantastic about making sure that everyone had food and drinks all night.  Weeks after the wedding, friends and family are still telling me how wonderful the food and service was.  Kristi, William, Drea, and the entire staff are pleasures to work with and absolute pros.  Some examples:  1.  Our entire party arrived late because we hired a bad bus company.  Kristi graciously agreed to extend our evening so that our wedding wouldn't be cut short by a bad bus driver (who obviously had nothing to do with The Warren).  I felt myself physically relax the second Kristi met my party out on the sidewalk outside of the Warren to welcome us to the party.  Kristi was flexible and understanding - she really got it :)2.  I have a good friend who is gluten-free.  Kristi and William gave me menu details so that my friend knew ahead of time what she could eat.  More than that, as soon as the staff identified my gluten-free friend, they were attentive to her needs all night.  They sure to let her know what she could eat and they even gave her special servings without sauces so she didn't have to worry.3.  We had an open bar and a very "social" group:)  Never at one point did anyone wait for a cocktail.  The staff was perfectly attentive without hovering.  They were all gracious and extremely competent.4.  The food was delicious.  The seared tuna was everyone's favorite.  Get the seared tuna.Literally - I'm still hearing about what a great time everyone had.  From the instant we reached The Warren, everything was perfect.  I couldn't have asked for anything more and I wouldn't have changed a thing. I come here almost every weekend and can't recommend it enough.  They serve excellent food (brunch on Sunday is open to the public).  Dinner is for members-only but I think you can pay a small cover fee to try it out.  I really think the restaurant portion of the Warren is underrated and underutilized.  For members, they do really fun events like paired wine or tequila tastings, comedy shows, etc.The bar scene is fantastic.  You can either chill on the patio with great views of downtown Atlanta while a server brings you drinks, or inside on one of the couches or tables, or you can hang in the lively dance floor scene if you want to get your groove on.  The DJ quality is hit or miss, lately they've been mixing in some excellent electronic/hip-hop newcomers that I really dig.  Other nights you get a lot of obnoxious Katie Perry and crappy pop that I could do without.   Age generally ranges from late twenties through late thirties and most people there can hold their alcohol and act like an adult.Service from the staff and bartenders is always top notch.  If you are nice to them, they will remember you and treat you accordingly.  Don't try to argue about the cover charge; you are not special and they have more than enough patrons without having to treat you like a princess.  Definitely a great place for a post-dinner drink, chill patio night, or all-night birthday dance party bash. Actually had my sisters wedding here on a Saturday night and it was AMAZING!! The food, the flowers, the drinks, the DJ, the service.. Everything. It was so much better than we could have imagined. Our food consisted of fried macaroni balls and shrimp cocktail for appetizers. Fried chicken, flank steak, green beans, mashed potatoes, and jalapeño corn casserole for the entree. We had it set up buffet style and it was delicious. Everyone loved it and we even got follow up emails from guests talking about how great everything was. As for all the wedding details, they made everything so simple. We told them what we wanted and they did everything perfectly. All we had to do was show up. Highly recommend. More...

Any time I've ever been to The Warren it's been great! The service is always fantastic. This time, was no different. A group of 20 of us came after a wedding and we had a great time. The rooftop had heaters and an amazing view. It was chilly still, but after a couple, or ten, vodkas who notices the temperature? Overall we had a great night, and I appreciate Kristi's help along the way! More...

We went to brunch there last Sunday, and we really thought it was homey and quaint with a little vibe. We had a delicious brunch and very good service. We had a traditional eggs Benedict and a tenderloin eggs Benedict and they were both excellent with sweet potato taters...very nice with a side of fruit and they brought a sampling of their petite cinnamon rolls...delightful. We will definitely go back again More...

My husband and I had the opportunity to eat at this fine establishment last night.  I'm so happy we did!  We are extremely impressed with the quality of the food and the depth of flavors.  We got a chance to chat with the chef, William Taylor, and it's clear he has the upmost integrity when it comes to what leaves his kitchen.  My favorite dish of the evening was the ahi tuna, closely followed by the best burger I've ever tasted and the jalapeno cornbread pudding, but they were all incredible!....hallelujah! We had the other half of the burger for breakfast.  It was even good cold :)  If you're not a believer of heaven, go to this place and you will be! More...

Do you love VA. HIGHLANDS? Do you love amazing music? Do you love extremely generous bartenders who sole purpose is to see you have a great time? If you said yes to at least 2 of those questions then The Warren is a place you must visit.  Its an amazing place and DJ COLBY is super amazing seriously one of the BEST DJ's I have ever had the honor to watch spin.  The music is from all over the world and meshed together in such a way that your feet wont be able to stop moving.  The drinks are decently priced but the decor is really cool (yes I look at the decor sometimes).  Tell em Erik said Hello More...

Pro- I went to the Warren City Club for Brunch with my Mum. This was our first visit and I must say we were pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Eggs Benedict minus the Canadian bacon with a side of asparagus spears  and my mum ordered the crab cakes with a side of their delicious cream cheese grits. We also ordered two of the most refreshing Mimosas Ive ever tasted! Our server Tom was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and restaurant.Con- I ordered eggs Benedict minus the canadian bacon and they forgot to remove it (no big deal) and one of my poached eggs were undercooked (runny white and yolk completely raw....YUK!)  How they managed to cook one perfectly and not the other is beyond me.I intend to return for one of their special events in the near future ( Burlesque, Wine Tasting) More...

I bought a discounted membership last year through a deal site to try it out, and it has been worth every penny. First, I love the ambiance -- it's cozy yet upscale, and not the crazy-packed ridiculousness of other bars and restaurants in the area. I usually go for brunch or drop by for drinks and appetizers with a friend or two, and they have also had excellent experiences every time and have looked into membership as well. The staff is beyond courteous and prompt, and the service has been consistently good. The food is amazing as well. I've eaten at a lot of places in ATL, and nearly everything I've gotten here has been the best version I've had of it, hands-down. My husband and I went for dinner and a comedy show last night and had a great time. It was his first visit, and he was very impressed by the service and the food. He thought I was being silly paying for a supper club membership before even paying for the food, but now he's a believer as well, and even said we should bring his parents next time they're in town! The only issue I've ever had was the Web site and events/calendaring functionality, which in the past has been hard to use, but they just released a revamped site that seems much more intuitive, and the newsletter events have been clarified as well, so that problem looks like it's been fixed. Facebook has also been helpful keeping track of what they're offering on a given week (though often does not provide quite all the info one would need to act on the event, and then I have to look it up in the newsletter). In summary, this has been a great experience. Inf act, my discounted membership runs out in a couple of months and I definitely plan to renew at the regular price. Thanks, Warren City Club! More...

I purchased a discounted membership through one of the online deals that also gave a coupon for the first meal that almost made it free (full disclosure).  It is hidden with the entrance on a side-street off of Highland above Dark Horse.  The regular membership was too expensive for my taste, but with the deal it made it worth checking out.I have gone for Brunch 4-5 times (this is always open to the public, no membership needed) and I think it is excellent.  The Bloody Mary's are wonderful, the menu is some what limited, but I end up getting the same thing every time anyway, because I enjoy it so much, (the eggs benedict, but the western omelet is great as well, I've had a few bites).  The service is above average and everyone there is very friendly.I have gone for dinner 2-3 times and the meal was very good each time.  On one of the occasions we were dining a little later and on the weekend and it was slowly morphing into a quasi-club with some dancing, which wasn't what we were looking for, so we had an after dinner drink, which was great and left.  They do some cool events for members every month and those are well done and a good time.  I have only been there on the weekends once or twice to grab a drink and it is nice to grab a drink or two on the patio outside and then continue on for the evening.I like the decor, it has a chic rustic feel to me that is comfortable and unforced. To Recap:  The Good: I love the food, the drinks are well made and the patio is a great place to grab a drink.  The brunch is definitely in the permanent rotation. The Bad:  The full membership is more than I would pay, but this year has been fun so far with the discount.  The drinks are little pricey. The Band This Restaurant Most Resembles:  The Eagles specifically on their Reunion Hell Freezes Over Tour.  Lots to like, but expensive. I must say it was quite a diverse crowd the night I went, opposed to some of the other bars in the highland area. The Dj was pretty fun and there was a small dance area for shakin' the money maker. The bartendress was sweet enough to hold my friends purse behind the bar and even offered her Tylenol when she said she had a pounding headache... kudos for that. Not sure about the whole membership fee, and if there is a cover to get in certain nights or not (as I went with a member). Quick drinks, clean restrooms, and a fun Friday night crowd. More...

The Warren is a private dinner club but it is open to the public for brunch on Sundays. I had the honey glazed Salmon over a bed of Caesar salad. I eat salmon all the time and this was literally the best salmon I've ever had! It was a nice portion. I also had a Bellini. The staff was friendly. I loved the ambiance. It was quite cozy.Th even gave us some free holiday eggnog muffins; which I've never had before and was quite delicious!I will definitely be having many more Sunday brunches at Warren City Club. This is a review for their brunch. This is a little oasis in the middle of the highlands where the food is good, the $4 mimosas and bellinis are strong, and there are flowers and breezes everywhere (ok maybe the latter is from carefully positioned fans, but still). This is my new go-to brunch spot.

I was googling best brunch places in ATL and Warren City club came out as the best since 2008. Funny enough I have never heard of it, called to make reservations and had no problems.  We were a party of 6 and we got seated right away on their patio.  It was a really nice day and their patio is actually really nice.  Our waiter looked overwhelmed though, he was serving 4 tables and what seemed like he was the only waiter working the entire restaurant.  I ordered their $4 mimosas...pretty good.  A lil strong for a Sunday am but was overall good.  A couple of my friends got the crab cakes benedict and Salmon BLT - they had said it was a bit too salty.  My Monte Cristo sandwhich was pretty good and their chocolate chip pancakes was yumooo delicious! This was a cute brunch place, not to noisy and it was a very relaxing brunch :) More...

I went here with my girlfriend for Sunday mimosa brunch. I had the french toast special with their apple wood smoked bacon as a side and I must say that the french toast was absolutely incredible. The bacon was just ok...my girlfriend had the pecan pancakes which I got to try as well and they had a great consistency. The edges had a light crisp to them and were not heavy. The mimoas were great too, and only $4. Ours were a little on the stronger side which I definitely did not complain about. The wait staff was extremely helpful and we never had to ask for anything. The atmosphere was very quaint. It was very clean and beautiful. They take reservations and although they border just over the $10 line...it was well worth the cost. More...

Tons of fun, but watch out, the door guy can be a douche!  I'm one of the easiest people to get along with, but this guy NEVER likes me and always gives me a HARD time.  Once you get in though, the music is fun, the people are fun, and the drinks are . . . well. . . they are just drinks.  Also has a great outdoor patio. All in all, fun place to go on a Saturday night! More...

We moved here from the Chicago suburbs, where we were members of a private dinner club, The Anvil Club. Our complaint about that place was that it was mostly octogenarian retired docs and lawyers with their 20-something mistresses.  A bit too exclusive, sedated, and creepy. We tried dinner at The Warren last week and had an excellent time. From the moment we sat at the bar we were included in the conversation with the bartender and other guests. Great classic cocktails to go along with fun discussions. We got seated for dinner as soon as we finished our drinks. I didn't know what quality food to expect, since only one other table in the place was occupied, but I needn't have worried. The jalapeño cheddar hushpuppies were flavored and fried to perfection. I told my wife I could actually feel the alcohol in my stomach getting sopped up. She had the filet with the New Orleans Béarnaise sauce over Red Bliss potatoes and a side of fried okra. Really nice! I had the espresso-rubbed flat iron steak with asparagus and au gratin potatoes. Cooked to perfection. We tried the Krispy Kreme bread pudding for dessert, because how could you not? It was okay, but my wife makes one at home that we both agree was better.Overall, the food was really much better (MUCH better) than we expected when we first arrived. The attentive service from the bartender and wait staff was excellent, just enough without being too much. We left before the restaurant turned into a full-blown club, but suspect we'll be back for more. More...

This is a great spot for several occasions: after work cocktails on the great deck, dinner for small groups, wednesday night wine tastings, and late night dancing when the DJ spins the 80's roller skating tunes..Also great for New Years Eve, birthday parties, etc....Friendly staff that remembers you and gives you a heavy pour when there is 1.5 glasses of wine left in the bottle. Definitely a worthwhile investment and a really nice place to take people after dinner or if you want to watch a big sporting event More...

Exclusively YoursWhat a great spot! Exclusive, private, members only and definitely not easy to find. I attended an event in October 2006, sponsored by Vibe Magazine and Gilyard Manufacturing, the perfect venue for any occasion. The staff was very attentive, taking care of our every need. Artsy Appetizers, comfy plush velvet lounge chairs, a warm fireplace on each side of the room, plasma flatscreen tvs hanged strategically on almost every wall. I hope to return very soon, maybe by than I can afford a membership(LOL). Pros: Great Location! Ample Parking!. Cons: Member's Only. Overall user rating: Recommended More...
