I can't say enough about these people. Great customer service, great quality tutors, and all at a fair price. In a matter of hours (literally - a phone call at 1130am and the tutor arrived at 430pm the same day) I had an excellent tutor sitting at the dining table helping my 16-yr old with AP US History - and she was enjoying it ! !!  Reza was amazing getting all the logistics dealt with and finding a good fit for my daughter and Farzin was an amazing tutor - very relatable and he was able to give my daughter realistic tips that she can employ ASAP, as well as longer term guidance. I cannot say enough good things about The Tutor Genius. I was extremely overwhelmed starting a 5 week on line statistics class. I spoke to Reza at The Tutor Genius and not only did he calm me down, but connected me with a superior tutor( Kevin) who was highly skilled, professional and pleasant to work with. My special gratitude to the director of Tutor Genius and all the wonderful and capable tutors that have help our daughter through past 3 years. They for sure deserve more than 5 stars!Anytime I called for having a tutor the directors listened very closely and asked question to better understand what was needed or who would fit the position, and each time we had just the perfect tutor. Overtime my daughter's grades changed from "barely there" to As and Bs.I have been working with Tutor Genius for past 3 years, and I will recommend them to anyone who is seeking "excellent" result.Past year I reached out to the director during 1st semester for a Statistic tutor and we were lucky to have Gia helping my daughter to bring her grade up to a solid B.2nd semester I needed more than individual tutors for each subject and I asked the director for what I called an"academic tutor" to help our daughter with over all time management and different subjects she needed help with.He introduce us to a very smart and kind young lady name Stephanie who not only was very capable but also was very committed. In about 8 weeks she dedicated all the needed hours to our daughter and helped to increase all her grades to solid excellent position for finals. I found the Tutor Genius on Yelp and am so glad I did. Reza in the office is very nice and accommodating and provided me with lots of information to make sure I got the right fit for my daughter's needs. We chose Lindsey and couldn't be more happy. She has been tutoring my daughter on Math for about a month now and we can see a big improvement. She is very sweet, on time and makes it easy for my soon to be 3rd grader to understand and stay engaged. We have used summer tutors in the past from different companies who were a lot more expensive and didn't get the service that we do with Tutor Genius. I would highly recommend them!! More...

After working with a couple of individual Tutors, and making inquiries with a couple of other Tutoring agencies, I was absolutely sold on The Tutor Genius. The prompt reply, comprehensive information offered / presented, immediate and thorough follow-up and competitive pricing made me feel confident in trying their service.

The Director, Reza, is an absolute pleasure - he sends options of a few carefully selected tutor candidates believed to be a great match for our needs / students, including their bios. Once we select a resource, he follows up to confirm the time (meeting our schedule needs) and sends a picture of our tutor, so we know who to expect.

We have worked with 2 tutors (as the first WONDERFUL tutor completed MED SCHOOL and was beginning her residency, the 2nd had to return to HARVARD for grad school!), and are getting ready to start with a 3rd tutor. The transitions are not frequent - this is over the course of the year. The experience has been great - my kids LOVE their tutors, who are engaging, well-prepared and encouraging. My daughter has been tutoring with Lindsey on Math during the summer months. We have only had two sessions and my daughter is showing improvement already. I would highly recommend theTutorGenius!  I have had other tutors for my son, but none of them can compare to the TutorGenius.  On the first meeting, my son's tutor gave him a small quiz to make sure he understood the fundamentals of Algebra 2.  This never occurred with the other tutor companies I had for my son.  After a couple of weeks with the TutorGenius my son's exam grades improved in his Algebra 2 class and he has more confidence.  The TutorGenius is definitely worth every penny. I have always struggled throughout college in Math (Calculus) and Science courses (Bio and Chemistry). I looked into getting a tutor to help bring up my grades and finally grasp the concept of these two hard subjects. Tutor Genius was extremely helpful and professional in accommodating me with great tutors that helped me finally understand the material I was studying. My stepdaughter was struggling in geometry so I looked into tutors online and went with the Tutor Genius because they had the best reviews and prices. They are very professional, very responsive to e-mails, and accomodating when it comes to scheduling conflicts. Been using service now for 2months for my kids and by far the best Tutoring Company out there in Irvine. So pleased with the turn around in my kids grades. So great that i get to be the first review. Its been so difficult trying to work with tutoring companies and actually getting your moneys worth as well as a good tutor for your child.  We have worked with 3 different tutoring companies in the Irvine area and The Tutor Genius was our 4th.. I really like these guys because they have a pay as you go plan.. Every other place we've gone sets you up on some plan to where you have to pay in advance.. so we would end up paying for hours of sessions.. lets say 6.. but if we only used 35 min of that one hour.. they would raise it up to a whole hour... so we were loosing money.. Not only that but they didn't do background checks on the people that were interning at their company.. which is important to anyone with a family. Positives:Pay As You GoBackground ChecksTutors in really ANYTHING u want.. no matter how old you areThey let you see the profile of who is going to tutor you.. so just incase you want to change it... They even come to your house so you don't have to go and worry about leaving your kid anywhere  , or having time to pick them up or drop them off etc. Negatives:Although they have a large list of tutors they can tend to get booked because they have good tutors for good prices.. so make sure you book them when you know you will need tutoring :-)All in all its great.. my sister has A's now in math and science... her worst two subjects.
