My kids and I met friends at The Sit Down on a Sunday for dinner. The friendly staff led us to the back patio, which was quaint and quiet. We ordered a few appetizers (burrata caprese, fried mozzarella and calamari), which were all equally delicious. I’m very picky when it comes to calamari but this was flashed fried perfectly, the correct amount of breading and it was very tender. They were out of the burrata but substituted for mozzarella to make a traditional caprese, which was also delicious. Such a cute local Italian place!! We sat on the back patio and it is the cutest little spot. Fire wood oven for the pizzas. Nice patio with ivy and little artsy corners. Felt like Lady & the Tramp or a side alley in Italy. We shared a spicy pizza and some gnocchi with a salad.... everything was so delicious! The gnocchi was rich and tender. The sauce was amazing.
