What do you love most about your job?
Everything, especially the diversity of the work. Oh, and I get to create that great lighting to show the subject in, well, the best light.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After teaching photography at the undergraduate and graduate level full-time for 14 years, I wanted to pursue the challenges and rewards of returning to an entrepreneurial endeavor. I was a commercial photographer for 20 years before I began teaching, and I always loved running my own business and working on many different types of projects.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have over 35 years of experience and a deep technical skill set, due to the experience and teaching. We provide clear, written proposals for every project prior to beginning the work to ensure that we fully meet the client's expectations and all costs are understood in advance.
Photography of art and historical objects
Professional high-quality photography is the best representation of the creative effort. We photograph art objects of all types and sizes to help artists achieve their career goals. For private or institutional collectors, we offer end-to-end art collection documentation including storage preparation, transportation, digital capture, accurate color reproduction, digital cataloging, website creation and book design. We can photograph one or hundreds of flat art or dimensional objects in our studio or on location.
Photography of exhibitions
For museums, galleries and individual artists, we provide color-accurate, perspective corrected photographic documentation of your exhibitions. This provides a critical visual record of the exhibits presented so that you can preserve a record of exhibitions, apply for grants and museum accreditation, and share the exhibitions with a wide audience.
