I dont even know where to begin! The staff was amazing. Lisa was amazing and helped us through all the planning and she even knew some of the most perfect vendors to use for our cake and flowers. The building has been turned into a beautiful venue after the fire when they where brothers 2. They made us feel so welcomed and special as they surprised us when the whole staff and owner gave me a dozen Rose's after our arrival. Couldn't have asked for a better place to hold our wedding! Where do I even begin with this!! First I guess I begin with the amazing Lisa! After many years of being engaged and going to a friends wedding we decided to finally set at date. We picked the date on a Monday morning and by noon that day Lisa was taking us on a tour of the venue. Other locations didn’t call us back for weeks and she had us in hours after we called. I was set on a place that not only wasn’t stuck in the 80’s (the glory days of our town) but also a place that could offer stations for the food. After going over the menu and touring the facility we were 100% sure this was the place. The venue is stunning to say the least! The updated and modern style with an awesome touch of sparkle and glamour! The did an amazing job renovating this place! So the easy part was over we booked and just waited for the day to come! Lisa was so amazing at reaching out to us asking where we were at with things. Scheduling appointments to go over everything and offering to help in a million places that you would not think. She did hand drawn chalk board signs for us, helped put other and set up our memory table and candy bar station. She even offered to put our center pieces together since we just bought bulk flowers!!! I can not state enough how much she went above and beyond! Super easy and super organized! Now let’s get to the big day!! Once everything was set up it was absolutely stunning! They have the modern chairs and a beautiful bridal sweet! And can we talk about the bathrooms?!? I know weird to hit on but they are stunning too!! And lastly but not least the amazing food and staff at the Riverdale!! Jimmy and the whole crew at the Riverdale we’re so amazing!! The food was delicious and I’m so sad I didn’t eat more. We wanted good homestyle food and they delivered! I mean we had a mash potato bar for goodness sakes!! From philly cheese steaks to hamburger sliders to the pasta station it was delicious!! I really can’t say enough about how amazing the whole night was!! Thank you!!!! More...

Our family has had two different events here and we're in different rooms based on the group sizes but both events were great. The staff was friendly and accommodating when we needed help putting up decorations. Having the parking lot right next door and a spot for drop off makes it great for anyone that is attending an event.  The food was good and both times we had it served family style which was nice so people could just pass everything around instead of getting up for it. I wish I could do higher than 5 stars!! We had our wedding at The Riverdale on the 1st of December, everything was truly a fairytale! Lisa, Steve and Jimmy make sure everything went so smoothly and everything went absolutely perfectly! They decorated the venue beautifully beyond my expectations and it truly brought tears to my eyes when I walked into the venue in our wedding day. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and has a very ‘grand-like’ feeling, which is exactly what we were looking for in our wedding venue search! Throughout the whole planning process, Lisa was extremely helpful and answered all my questions about every last detail immediately . Lisa went above and beyond all our expectations with her decorating as well as the planning aspect for our wedding. She’s very attentive and personable and truly what made our day even more perfect. She truly puts the bride and groom above everything else and ensures everything would go perfectly! I cannot thank Lisa, Steve and Jimmy enough for making our dream wedding come to life. The food was absolutely delicious and wait staff were very attentive! I highly recommend The Riverdale banquet hall for any and all parties! Service was attentive. Potatoes were instant which can be good if you like them like that. While the London broil was cooked just the way I like it, there wasn’t much flavor/seasoning. The chicken smelled very good and presented well but should have been cooked a little less (slightly dry). I liked the garlic green beans very much. The vodka sauce on the pasta was good. I would give the Riverdale 10 stars if I could! We just had my daughter's wedding reception yesterday and I can't rave enough about how wonderful it was, the attention to detail from Lisa who worked tirelessly with us when we were stressed out about location of decor even when she was super sick and was a sweetheart every interaction we had! ! The quick service from all of the staff the day of to Steve and Jimmy... My gosh I can't rave enough! If you are looking for a venue for an event STOP looking and just call Riverdale!!!! P.S. I had my bridal shower at the Riverdale last month and I am also having my wedding reception here next month. I can not talk highly enough about them! They go ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure everything is perfect and what you want. They are extremely nice and accommodating to your needs. The planning of my wedding reception is going so smoothly and they really make you feel like you are number one priority. Lisa is an amazing event planner and has helped me tremendously! My family threw me a beautiful bridal shower here this weekend. The Riverdale Banquet Hall is absolutely stunning. Every detail was thought out, and the design and decor is pristine. I loved it! Had it been available last year when I began the planning stages of my wedding, I would have likely chosen this as my wedding reception venue. It is gorgeous inside! I also got a look at the main room where a wedding reception would be held... the chandeliers are gorgeous! The chivari chairs were planned well with a vinyl cushion instead of fabric so that stains would be limited. It is a very classy venue and I look forward to attending events there in the future. I cannot say enough good things about the Riverdale and their entire staff! We booked the Riverdale back in February before construction had even begun and put so much faith in them and it certainly paid off! We had our wedding (the first one) their this past weekend and everything was perfect! All of the guests were shocked it was their first wedding because they were so professional and everything ran so smoothly. Lisa did an amazing job in making my vision come to life and was there to help every step of the way. The food was SO delicious - everyone could not stop raving about it. The wait staff was very accommodating and on top of everything! They were constantly making sure my husband and I had everything we needed throughout the night as well as the other guests. And if all of that isn’t enough, just look at the place! Every detail from the lights to bridal suite decor is so beautiful! Visited the new Riverdale Banquet Hall this week and oh my was I impressed! Extensive renovations. It looks nothing like before. Very glamorous, modern, and definitely high end.
