The residents at the Princess Martha are fun loving, young minded and very active. Maggie, the life enrichment director works hard to keep them entertained, busy and active. Clearly, she loves her job and the residents love her! It is an honor to sing for such a wonderful community. I love this place! Thank you Maggie and thank you to all of you that come to Happy Hour. You make me smile! More...

One of the best places I have worked at. The residents and staff are great. The residents are very welcoming and the staff work hard to make sure our residents are taken care of. The beauty of the building is something you’ll need to come in to see in person. The photos don’t do it justice. Ask for Julie I’ll give you a tour. You’ll definitely want to live here. The best around! More...

I had the pleasure of working in the Marketing department, as well as Activities. I absolutely adore the residents of The Princess Martha! I made friends with residents from all over the world and loved hearing their stories. The downtown location is amazing! The residents go out to eat, visit museums, attend plays and shows; they take walks around Mirror Lake with their pups and hop on the downtown trolley. Happy Hour was our most popular activity. We enjoyed cocktails and dancing twice a week (or more, when it was a holiday or I just wanted to throw a good party)! The ballroom AKA, the dining room is GORGEOUS and there's also a roof top pool. I loved my job and worked with an awesome team. You will find joy in working or living here. The Princess Martha is a staple in the St. Pete community and It really is, "the place to be!" More...

Clean and friendly! The residence are so interesting! One of them, 97 years old, tugged on father-in-law's (75) ear as if to remind him he's not old. Charming!

The relationships that were developed with the residents was the best part of the job. Learning from and working with the elderly can be incredibly rewarding. Some of the management can be difficult to work with at times, mostly because they focus more on the cold administrative duties than the warmth of customer service. Some lower level employees would go above and beyond for the clients on a daily basis, although management would have difficulties remembering the clients basic information. The hours and shifts would sometimes be flexible to accommodate one's schedule. Although at times, employees would be forced to come in for emergency shifts and then scolded later for the overtime cost. Overall it is a wonderful place to work if you're interested in forging relationships with the clients and families as long as you smile and bite your cheek when interacting with higher ups. More...
