This is for the theater side, It was my first time coming into this theater. I hadn't heard good reviews about this place and wasn't going in with high expectations. I was greeted by two young ladies Malika and Mili.(of course with their consent to mention their names) Â They were extremely helpful, the movie we wanted to watch had the two front rows available and weren't sure if they were too close. They took time out and took us into an empty theater to show us how close it would be. The food took about 30 mins to get delivered which is totally understandable. We waited on our drinks a little longer than expected but when one of the ladies came into the theater we were in, I asked about our drinks and they brought it to us shortly after. Saw the new Star Wars. What a great experience.Didn't know that they had their own garage with validation. I parked on the street about 2 blocks away for free. So it wasn't really an issue for me. But nice to know that if we come in the daytime, when parking is non-existent, I can find a place.We didn't try the food/drink service because we had eaten dinner before the film and were not hungry. But it looked great.The seats were good. The theater was comfortable.The only small complaint I have was that the guy in the seat behind me kept adjusting his seat. The problem was that his seat made a squeaking noise every time it adjusted. Every so often a loud squeaking noise behind my head would distract me. This is very minor. More...

I planned my company's holiday party with the Lot in La Jolla and I couldn't be happier with the service, food, and experience. From start to finish the entire process was painless and easy, all facilitated by Rafael, the Special Events Manager. Despite some of our very last minute changes and requests, Rafael and the team made it happen without any issues. The set up and execution of the event was flawless and I can't recommend a better venue for a holiday party/event. We have seen three movies here. Â Just go watch a movie here dont order food and you will be happy here. Â Â What I like about this place is that the seats are amazing to sit in and recline in. Â You have your own little side table and drink holders. Â Its so comfy you could easily fall asleep which I have seen some people do. Â Now that the price dropped to $14.00 this is my go to place. Â What i hate is the high cost of below average food and slow and inconsistent service. Â The popcorn is horrible, the beers are $10.00 and sometimes they deliver to you in 10 minutes sometimes it takes 30-40 minutes and they don't always know what seat to deliver it to. Â Anyway great place to see a movie but dont plan on eating here plus I find it really distracting to have servers taking orders and going seat to seat trying to find where to deliver an item. I hosted a party at The Lot for 70 adults and 17 kids during the busy holiday season and the event surpassed my expectations. We first met Pam, the events/bar manager, who helped secure and plan for the party. Although Pam was extremely busy with her dual duties, she made time to make sure all my wishes and plans were taken care of. She is awesome and attentive to our every needs. The layout, food and service were beyond our initial expectations given how busy it is around the holidays. Pam made sure we had the right layout for our party and did everything possible to make it special. We received a lot of good feedback on the food. We had zucchini cakes, chicken satay and veggie spring rolls for appetizers. We did a buffet set up with flat iron steak and orange glazed salmon and all the fixings. Everyone enjoyed the food. The service was simply really good given such a large party. Bonus for the service team checking in with me all night to make sure everything was going well. All in all, we had a memorable event at The Lot and that was all made possible by Pam and her team. Definitely 5 stars for the whole experience! Thank you Lot! More...

The Lot is definitely a nice place to watch a movie. Very clean and comfortable. The concessions for normal food is a tad overpriced for what you get though, and the popcorn was far too salty. They also don't have milkshakes on the menu like they have at the location in Liberty Station. More...

This LOT location is the best! I live down the street from the LOT Point Loma and don't get me wrong that location is great also but I always go out of my way to drive the extra 10 minutes to come to this location because every time I come it's great experience, We usually come when Rafael is working, because he treats us like family and goes out of his way to make sure everything is always smooth and perfect. I usually frequent the The Lot in Liberty Station, but there was more available seating at this location for the new Star Wars movie, so decided to make the drive and give it a try. I love that there's parking underneath. This is super convenient for La Jolla. They validate for up to four hours for free. After that, it's $20 an hour so you definitely want to move your car before you get charged. Similar to the other lot, there is both a restaurant and movie area. It is highly recommended to pre-purchase tickets so that you can choose the seats you want. There really aren't any bad seats in the theater. The seats are all spread out and even the first row of seats is comfortably far back enough. You can order food from your seat and they even have a call button on the side of the recliner. The only down fall to my visit here was that our theater kind of smelled bad. As we entered, there was a really bad smell and it kind of lingered throughout the theater. It wasn't horrible, but the faint smell was noticeable. It was probably just a weird issue on that day and I doubt it's the norm. This theater is very nice and I would still come back. More...

I know a lot of residents were not happy with The Lot. Â Granted, it's exterior is crude, in my opinion, and doesn't fit what we hoped would be aesthetically pleasing. Â But inside is actually pleasing and relaxing. There is AstroTurf and small fountains for the kids to play in the summer. Went to see new Star Wars movie yesterday here. The system accidentally double booked one of our seats? Despite that small road bump, the manager on duty, Court, took the time to fix our issue. Completely made it right. I mean really took his time and cared and checked up on us before we left. It was the best customer service I've ever experienced. Hands down. After my review Ryan Vazquez reached out and gave me two complimentary tickets to give the lot another try. My tickets were not at will call and Emma accommodated my husband and I she was nice and helpful. We went to our seats and I was surprised at how quickly we received service. The food came out quickly despite a full theatre. I also had no screaming children because we went to a evening time and saw a mature movie. The food was INCREDIBLE parking was easy. Lobby restaurant is very noisy due to the accoustics of hard floor, wall of glass, and high ceiling.
