Location is key! I previously reviewed the location on Central and 5th street. I had nothing positive to say about it, BUT I was convinced to try the location on RICHMOND and Central and it is an entirely different experience. My New Review is as followed: It's a cute little place, a window really, no seating, but the charm of watching your food being prepared freshly here is enough. The workers are pleasant and you food will be quick to come, so long as it's not during peak hours when the lines can get fairly long. I absolutely loved the carne asada burrito here, it is a shame that the other locations aren't as good. They come piping hot with fresh, crunchy delicious fries. And the sauce, which I previously thought was a mayonnaise sauce is called chipotle aioli, which was much fresher, tangier and tastier than the sauce I had at the central and 5th street location. I've come here almost a dozen times since giving this location a chance. .I have one quarrel with this place. It is a bit pricey. Ordering just a burrito is going to cost you a bit more than 10.00 after tax. Then again, this is no Taco Bell, expect a LARGE burrito that packs a mighty taste. .Vegetarian options here. More...

Whats interesting about this place is that they're open almost all the time. As much as I love Chipotle, I would suggest your time (and appetite) are better spent a little farther east up central. No parking which is a con, but the wait is reasonable, as well as the prices. More...

I ordered the Calif Burrito and it worth the paid parking. There's no free parking around so I'll suggest getting at least 2 quarters with you. I thought it was well worth it considering the amount of food you get for the price. The sauce they use with the fries taste really good. If you're looking to stretch your dollar, they have $1 fish tacos on Tuesdays and Thursdays and they're not too bad. Place is pretty good for some bar food. The tacos are phenomenal as well as the fries. Burritos are a little on the bland side of town but few packs of hot sauce and couple of Marble IPA's to wash it down is good. Great place.

To be quite honest, I cannot attest to the true quality of the food here because I've come here only after spending some time having some adult beverages downtown. I do like that this place is open late and is pretty friendly to anyone that has obviously been drinking. They use cards to identify your order, which can be confusing at times. We used Uber Eats to order some food after being at the pool for lost of the day. The carne aside fries are a must have and are accompanied by the best sauce and cilantro topping. I'm always craving this place. My favorite thing to get is the cali carne Asada burrito! So good! I always order extra sauce cause that is the best part of this burrito! Sometimes the fries aren't as crispy as id like them to be but still delicious. Last call is great anytime! They're my go-to every time I'm at the bars in Nob Hill (and not just because they're the last place open). They're just as good sober, which is a rarity! I live in Rio Rancho, and yes I make the trip down town to Albuquerque just for the canes asada fries. This place was absolutely awesome. They have the best street tacos and cali asada burritos I have ever had. Definitely will be coming here, with friends. I stopped here once when I was working on a film set right across the street, and I've been to the Nob Hill location several times before. I usually get either the beer-battered fish tacos (which are $1 on Tuesdays and Thursdays!) or the Signature Sammich. Great food and friendly staff. My only recommendation would be that they extend their hours on Mondays through Thursdays, as there have been times where I've said "I'm craving fish tacos, lemme go--oh wait it's after 3PM dang it!" Order the chicken fries! Best fries ever. There was a big line when we got there, which from my understanding is because of the good food but also because it's one of the only food establishments left open that late downtown. Their chicken fries are so flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Fantastic late night food for when you're hanging out downtown and want to be able to chill inside instead of walking around with random food truck eats.
