We had our wedding here in May 2019, it went great! The company was great to work with and very accommodating. They let us do our wedding the way we wanted but also helped push us in the right direction when we asked for help. Their flexibility with vendors allowed us to have the wedding we wanted, something that many venues in the city would not do. Most made you use they’re caterers, order alcohol through them and charge you a premium for the trouble. The Landing at Tyee was great to work with... and it’s beautiful. More...

We've held our school auctions here for the last three years as well a retirement party.  The views are stunning, the venue is modern, open and spacious and Allegra, Crystal and Peter are always wonderful to work with!  We really appreciate Allegra's attention to detail and any questions or changes we have are answered quickly and then updated in our event profile.  (A very helpful way to keep the details organized!)  We can't wait until we're back at the Tyee next year! We had our 120-person reception here in May and it was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding!
Peter gave us a tour and was so friendly, laid back and not pushy. The venue has absolutely everything you could ask for - beautiful natural lighting, built-in decorations, a full kitchen and bar counter, and a bridal suite not to mention a lovely deck to use during cocktail hour and free parking (SO rare in Seattle). They allow you to bring in your own caterer which was important to us since we wanted to use a nonprofit caterer (Farestart)We had toured a lot of other venues and just didn’t get a good vibe from the folks we met. At the Landing at Tyee, we worked with Allegra, the venue manager and she was so sharp, warm, and totally on top of everything. All our emails were quickly answered, she paced all the information she gave us so it wasn’t overwhelming, and was very accommodating when we had to bring in vendors later on to tour the venue. She even helped us do a late-night snack run to Dick’s Drive-in for burgers for our reception! Can’t recommend this venue highly enough if you’re looking for a memorable wedding with great staff. This place was so awesome. Came here for a wedding reception the other day and it was gorgeous. Cute little spot off the main drag with parking. Amazing view of the water and a great space inside as well. They had a lot of nice amenities like buffet and snack spots and great raised tables by the water. The Landing is an awesome space for an event of any kind, but especially a wedding. More...

Waterview... but not too much. Inside is small but quaint and well appointed. Good for 100 or less guests. Fireplace on the outside deck is a fun touch.
Parking is no bueno...so you need valet service...then no prob.

If you are planning an event in Seattle, this is a wonderful venue.  It overlooks the water and is very close to the space needle. A family member was married here. $2500 gets you a beautiful space overlooking the water. We had use of the venue from 10am - 12 midnight. There was a bar area that had various sized glasses for 150 people.  We brought our own beverages. We had use of the kitchen and did all the food ourselves. The bridesmaids decorated the chairs and gazebo that was made for the wedding. Two employees helped facilitate setting up plates and bussing tables. There is a dressing room for the bride (and wedding party) that has comfy couches, a dorm sized fridge and a counter space for hair & makeup people (if you bring them). There is a places to hang clothes. I saw hangers by the coat rack but I would bring hangers for gowns and dresses. The door by the kitchen can be locked. If you want privacy for this room, it is s good idea to have someone posted by the door. The facility has members that aren't restricted during your event. We saw a few people making their way to the dock that were not on our guest list. It would have been nice if they could have discreetly entered and avoided our dining area.We had 150 guests and a bridal party of twelve. There were only two stalls in each bathroom. If you want photo opps by the water, the bride and groom can take pictures on the dock. There is also a lovely place by the water that is a short walk from the building. The venue has various vases and containers that you can borrow to put on tables. The sound system is simple. There was a microphone. We brought our own music. There is a baby grand piano inside. Bonus points for the pretty views at sunset. More...

We got married at the landing at Tyee in December 2017 and couldn't be happier with our choice in venue! From start to finish the entire staff was incredible, Peter went out of his way to help in any manner and answer all of our questions, and Crystal and Ashely were so helpful on our wedding day! The venue is intimate and the perfect setting for a Seattle wedding. The space has so much character and was super easy to decorate to fit our theme and style. We couldn't be any happier with our decision to use Tyee and encourage everyone to check out their space! More...

When you look for a wedding venue, you want to make sure you team up with people who will guide you through the process. Peter and Crystal went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was perfect. They were very responsive through email (no matter how small of a question you may have had) and they gave us many of recommendations for other vendors when we asked. We had about 130 people and it was the perfect size! Honestly, one of the most common compliment we received at our wedding was "your venue is amazing!" Absolutely recommend! The venue is beautiful, the pictures on the dock ended up perfect, and the customer service from Peter and Crystal was priceless! More...

Wow!!!Peter and Crystal, thank you so much for helping us bring our big day to life. We received so many compliments on our wedding venue and I feel like its necessary to pass these along to both of you. Peter was wonderful to work with planning and setting up the logistic of the day. He also recommended our mixlogist Tim, and our linen rental vendor, Marven who we also cannot recommend more.Crystal was a calming presence on the day of and was instrumental in getting our layout, theme and decor exactly how we wanted it. We used the beautiful Landing at Tyee for our fundraiser for Kiwanis Camp Casey - The Casey Catwalk & Fashion Show - organized by Casey Counselor and now America's Next Top Model - India Gants. In every way, the Landing at Tyee was fantastic. Peter Olson and Crystal were top notch professionals. They were available and present to meet our every need, from the room set up, AV help, to managing the bar and helping us turn the event into a fun, super successful fundraiser and fashion show. I have also attended the Tyee for a Christmas party for work, and again, the Tyee was a perfect setting. I highly recommend The Landing at Tyee for any event whether it be a social, fundraiser, wedding or another event. Between the beautiful setting on Lake Union and the staff who do everything in their power for the success of your event, The Landing at Tyee is a great great choice! More...

Best Location. Best Service. Affordable. We've held our company holiday party at Tyee recently and the previous 2 years at The Landing at Northcut which was the previous property. Peter and his team are absolutely the best! They are pros at this and even have superb staff to hire for your occasion and have made this property so much better than what it used to be. Nice neutral colors, very clean and inviting, great location very accessible. They have a great setup with almost everything you need and the upgrades they've made to this building leave very little for you to make the event your own signature. All of the tables you'll need for a party/dinner, great flow between the main room and the bar, a coat closet which is a huge plus for those cold and rainy nights. Having a grand piano is such a nice touch as we had someone who loves to play and it made it feel so much warmer than it already is. Easy to plug in your music via phone or computer with their sound system, they have microphones, and even projector and screen all built in and easy to use.The staff that was there that evening were fantastic, the bartender out of this world! Always all friendly with smiles on their faces and even helped us with extras which gave the evening a special touch. They even cleaned all of the supplies we brought so we didn't have to take them back dirty. All of our staff commented that this location was the best we've ever found so we'll definitely be coming back, now I wish we could have a summer party to take better advantage of the deck. There is a full catering kitchen and the area in the front of the venue is also a flat surface if you want to consider a food truck option.  Already looking for our 2017 holiday date before it's all booked up. Highly recommended! More...

This place is an amazing event venue with beautiful views of Lake Washington. There is a full industrial kitchen, a bar, a grand piano, a large dance floor as well as plenty of places for guests to sit and mingle (deck, couches, extra rooms). Peter is professional, warm, flexible and genuine. We were so impressed with how prompt his responses were in our correspondence when we considered The Landing at Tyee as a wedding venue! We ended up booking another venue (we decided on a fully outdoor venue), but we would definitely consider future events here and highly recommend The Landing at Tyee! More...

I've been throwing New Year's parties for four years now and needed to find a location for 2015.  I reached out to The Landing at Northcut but unfortunately, they were booked that night.  My contact over at the Landing at Northcut, Peter Olson, asked if I was interested in throwing the party at The Landing at Tyee on Lake Union (Formerly the Tyee Yacht Club).  I agreed to take a look at the place before committing.  When I got there, I was blown away from the venue.  The first thing you notice when you get to the main floor is the outdoor patio.  They have an amazing view of the lake and plenty of room for people to mingle.  Inside the venue is a fairly large space.  When we were there, tables were set up for a large dinner party and it looked very elegant.  After viewing the place for a few minutes, I told Peter I was interested and began working with him for about a month on this event.  I will tell you one thing, Peter Olson is the best person to work with when throwing a special event.  This guy will respond to his emails within five minutes and is always very helpful.  His recommendations for personnel, specifically bartenders and security guards, were impeccable.  We had the best bartenders and security guards and will definitely be doing business with Peter and his crew very soon.Peter doesn't know this yet, but I was sold on the venue the moment I walked in.  The venue is very nice and I've seen pictures of weddings that were thrown in the past (youtube.com/watch?v=K382…).  If the Landing at Northcut is not available, please consider The Landing at Tyee on Lake Union.  This venue is definitely an excellent choice for any special venue.
