I have lots of love for the Garden City Hotel. Truth be told, we got married here 22 years ago so we also have a lot of nostalgia for this hotel. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. We didn't have the greatest room; the window was very high with a view of a second roof. We were also on the ballroom floor so there were weddings going on with lots of florists and photographers milling about.The spa is lovely and clean. The therapist was great and the waiting area was very welcoming.I would definitely recommend this hotel. More...

Wow! That one word pretty much sums up what we just experienced- We live in New Orleans which of course is a major service oriented travel destination city with hundreds of hotels and have seen the gamut of good to bad - we have also traveled to many places around the world but I can honestly say that from the moment we arrived (at 1:30am from a delayed flight w 2 tired and hungry young kids). The night staff was quick and efficient, he even offered to send ice cream to the room even though it wasn't on the late night menu - (AND they DID bring it up. Let's just say my boy and I enjoyed a pint of Chocolate Haagen Dazs before bed. Seemed like the best ever!)The clerk even ran over to us before we got into the elevator to give us some extra bottles of water. But the service didn't stop there. We were there for a wedding and I have been to TOO many weddings in my life but this was something like I've never seen before. Every staff member at the hotel was polite, professional and overly willing to accommodate the guests. The food was amazing from the carving stations to the served plates food and deserts. The valet people were always there to courteously assist with baggage and doors - never seeming to be doing it for tips. One of the valet guys (unsolicited) even came to the parking lot with some tools to help with something he saw us trying to fix on a car. The New Orleans establishments need to make a field trip here to see how it's done! Bravo Garden City Hotel - Bravo!! We can't wait to come back. Well done. More...

ALL of the staff is Super friendly! I love that this property has an Indoor Pool, Spa, Pet Friendly, Family Friendly, Tons of Meeting Space!
