Christine came and did caricatures at our wedding. She set up so her easel was facing the reception, so it was so fun to see her in action as she drew our guests! She did a FANTASTIC job! We hired Christine from Blue Studios for the Prom at The Lewis School, and she was great. Â Better than great, actually. Â She took the time to talk with the kids while she was doing their portraits, and many of the kids came to me after to say that not only did she highlight the best parts of their faces, but that they were taken aback by how she could capture a part of their personality after just meeting them. My daughter was getting married, Very formal, large wedding. Â At the entrance of the wedding reception we had Christine do a caricature of them as a surprise. Â We did a poster size and had guests sign and comment for memory sake. Â I provided her with the dress photo, his tux photo, a current picture of them. Â I told her their favorite hobbies and she incorporated all the information she had. It was absolutely perfect! Â Looked just like them. The bride and groom were amazed with the attention to detail. Her gown was exact. Â His tux was a duplicate. Â Their faces, exaggerated yet oh so flattering. Bride and groom loved their surprise, the entire room of wedding guests could not stop talking about the drawing and it still hangs proudly on their wall. Â Christine was professional, provided full 5 star customer service to me with drafts of the drawing until I was 100% satisfied and delivered the caricature prior to due date. What do you love most about your job?
I have always been fascinated with faces – the expressions, bone structure, the uniqueness of each person and the variations within and between nationalities. I have explored the beauty of faces extensively on my journey to becoming a BFA while studying anatomy, life drawing, illustration, graphic design, drawing, painting and life drawing.
Whether it’s a graduation, wedding, new baby, family portrait or other event you’d like your guests to remember forever, I’d be delighted to apply that magical touch through amazing caricatures.

What inspired you to start your own business?
While in college, I spent my summers working as a caricature artist at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ. While working there, so many people asked me if I was available for private parties that I printed up some business cards, created a website... and The Blue Studios Caricatures was born!
