After reading the reviews on this page I feel I should share my experience. We found The Big Easy about 6 months ago and in that time have dined there around 30 times. On different occasions I have dealt with Misti and she has always been very nice and professional. She has always followed up and cares a lot about the restaurant. The atmosphere is always great and the staff is very personable. I personally am not a Cajun fan but my husband lives for it so I love that there are great dishes that I can eat too. This is a great local business that deserves the communities support. We will definitely be back and continue to support this fine establishment and all the dedicated staff! More...

The restaurant has good food. But I believe they need to re-do their menu to be more true Mexican. Also change the music in the bar area to a more mellow Mexican mariachi style. LOUD country western does not fit.

Based on others recommendations we tried Casa Jimenez. We had fajitas for two and $5.00 margaritas. We could not finish our meals, brought them home and had for lunch the next day. Food was pretty good, service great! Menu has lots of fish options and isn't the same Mexican menu that everyone has- more Spanish than Tex-Mex. Ex. They have paella, empanadas, tamales, and stufted avacados. There are both spicy and mild salsas- very fresh tasting. Laid back atmosphere has corn hole and arcade style basketball hoop on the patio. Bar/ lounge area opens to the patio with garage doors. The restaurant is closed off to the bar, with a door for those inside who want the different atmosphere.
