Mr. Elliott Alderman is an excellent Intellectual Property, Patent and Trademark lawyer. In addition to being experienced, talented and approachable, he is a great listener and uses these qualities to produce desired results. He cares and stays in touch with his clients, responds to email the same day, answers the phone or calls you back when you leave him a message. I would recommend his services to anyone who is looking for a professional, responsive, and talented lawyer. More...

I thought Elliott's support was crucial. Legal issues are always stressful. He helped me stay even and unfrazzled. He was honest, never pretending my case was stronger or weaker than it was. He was careful with the contracts, correcting some of the questionable parts of the offer before I had to ask. As unhappy as I was that I needed Elliott's services, I was glad to have used him. I recommend his for copyright work. More...

Mr. Alderman is clear, honest, patient, and great at playing good cop with the other party. He can tell you, directly, where your case is weak but go beyond the call of duty where the other party is being underhanded. I would recommend him wholeheartedly, especially for avoiding contract trouble in the first place (much easier than getting out of it later). More...

I don't do reviews lightly. Typically, I don't do reviews. The ratings I have assigned to Elliott Alderman were earned. I have not met Elliott in person our business was conducted over the phone, which makes this all the more impressive. I sent my retainer and I received impeccable service. He was mindful of my time and his rate was more than fair. I have retained attorneys all over the country for different services. I highly recommend Elliot based upon my experience. More...

Q&As

I like problem solving and building long-term relationships with clients. Intellectual property is all about details, and planning is necessary to preserve and exploit rights. It's far cheaper for clients to proactively plan then to reactively litigate. I've been brought into too many matters where it's difficult, costly, and sometimes impossible, to correct issues which could have cost-effectively been addressed much earlier.

I've worked in the government, small and large law firms, a nonprofit and a large corporation; all of them have their advantages and disadvantages. I wanted to be able to choose my own clients and control how I provide services to them.

Providing high-quality, cost-effective legal services with the service, focus and personal attention of a small business.
