An amazing, personal, and memorable experience! I don't think I can really express in words how thankful I am that we found Tara Feeley. Tara was recommended to us by a few other vendors while we were at a tasting with our caterer a few months after we got engaged. We reached out to Tara via email and quickly received a response that was full of enthusiasm and excitement. We were really able to read her personality and were excited to set up a time to meet with her. Upon meeting for the 1st time, we were hooked. We really connected with Tara and knew based on the questions that she was asking us that her goal was to make our event a personal one. It wasn't going to be about throwing songs together on a playlist. It was going to be about creating a memorable experience based on us and we loved that! The entire planning process up until our wedding was seamless. Tara does a fantastic job of following up and keeping you on task. We literally didn't need to think about anything regarding the music/entertainment because it was already being thought of for us (with periodic check-in emails) which took a lot of stress off of our shoulders. The online planner was great! We were able to highlight our Love/Likes/Don't Play Ever lists which were discussed at our Creative Planning Session that Tara set up about a month prior to our wedding, which was probably our favorite part of the planning process. We talked about logistics, song choices, and the overall itinerary of our big day, but we also were able to come up with some really fun and unique ideas to incorporate to really put our stamp on it. Walking out of that meeting, we were definitely relieved of any small concerns that we may have had (which were basically none) because we knew that we were in good hands. As expected, our wedding day ended up being absolutely perfect! Our ceremony was was flawless - music was just right, audio/volume was just right. Our reception was amazing! Tara is really excellent at reading the crowd - knowing when to throw on a banger to get people on the dance floor, when to slow it down to engage the couples, and just keeping a consistent pace to keep the atmosphere enjoyable for the guests. We were happy to hear songs from our lists incorporated with ad hoc songs that fit in perfectly with the vibe. Tara incorporated her singing during our reception and we were so incredibly impressed with her talent. When she sings, there is so much emotion behind it and you could feel it throughout the room. Our guest had nothing but wonderful compliments about her. Overall, our wedding was perfect and we attribute so much of that to our experience with Tara. She genuinely cares about her clients and makes the experience about you. We never felt like we were just a person writing a check. It was always about what we wanted and how she could help to make us have the best day possible. We are so happy that we chose her and even more thankful that we gained a friend out of it. More...

Tara was absolutely fantastic! We found her at a Wedding Show and never looked back! Her voice is what really captured us. The ability to have someone sing live at our wedding was very appealing since we knew we couldn't afford a whole band. After beginning to work with Tara and seeing how organized and professional she was, we knew our wedding was going to be a great time! Even after life happen and we relocated to another state, Tara still made sure she met with us and spent a lot of time going over the details of our day with us. Tara has now been a part of our wedding, my daughter's Sweet 16 and my 40th Birthday Bash. We can't wait for the next party so Tara can come back and make it a complete blast! Tara takes the time to make your party unique, special and totally tailored to your needs/wants/musts. She doesn't just have you fill out something online - she calls you, she comes to your house, she makes you feel special and that no other party matters but yours. My 40th Birthday Bash was a throwback to the 80s and I have to tell you, it was THE MOST INCREDIBLE and EPIC bash in all of NJ that day! I only wanted 80s music and Tara delivered. All of my guests were dancing the afternoon away and no one wanted the event to end. And that's what you get with Tara, because when it ends, you can't wait for the next one. She is so friendly, bubbly and full of life, she was an absolute pleasure and joy to work with. Saturday, July 23rd was an amazingly wonderful day for our family when our daughter, Michele, married Jeremy and blended a family of five of the most wonderful children in the world. Tara Feeley was our DJ and made a very unique and happy occasion even happier and kept the wedding party of 9 kids entertained and busy. It was a small wedding reception (2nd for both bride and groom) but it was alive and so much fun because Tara was so professional and friendly with all the guests. This past Sunday my husband and I got married. Over these past few days as we have been talking to our family and friends about our wedding everyone keeps saying how much they loved our DJ and we couldn't agree more. Tara Feeley Entertainment is the right choice for any wedding or special occasion. Tara did everything we asked for and more. She had everyone engaged in what was going on, whether it was dancing, our friends giving toasts, of cutting the cake. She made our reception not just a party but a story about our love. She told people how our story started and included little details that we had told her. Overall it was an amazing evening that most importantly had me on the dance floor the whole night!! What can I say you don't already know Tara has hosted family parties for us in NJ and most recently our wedding reception this time in NY. She did everything we asked for our casual reception, played all the songs we wanted (great job mixing too!) and surprised with us with some things that everyone enjoyed. I told her I wanted to dance for 4 hours, and that's exactly what I did. My wife too! (and everyone else!). Update: Tara is such a good dj that there are hardly words to describe the Tara Feeley experience. You can't help but look back at your event and smile or laugh. She really hits the nail on the head with the music she plays and the atmosphere she creates. She can get just about anyone up and dancing. Tara is worth every penny and I hope I have more opportunities to see her at work!

If you want your wedding to be treated like the most important day of your life and you want to make sure you have top notch entertainment with a little extra, I cannot recommend Tara enough. We didn't want the same old wedding DJ with the over the top in your face personality. Tara was exactly what we were looking for. We booked her right after she spent about an hour on the phone with us to discuss what we were looking for in terms of entertainment and our tastes. She really takes the time to get to know you as a couple and make your wedding authentic and real to who you are as a couple. We had a creative planning session with Tara that lasted about 3 hours and she went through every detail of our wedding and made sure that we were making the wedding that we wanted to have and would remember forever. We used her services for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Our guests were raving about the music selection throughout the day. Music will make people remember your special day and we sure remember ours and so do our friends and family. Tara was in constant contact and coordination with our photographers and the venue that we did not have to worry about a thing on wedding day. My niece, Patrice and her wonderful new husband, Jason were Married on Sunday, January 29th! It was a FABULOUS DAY! And you, Tara, were such a big part of making it so FABULOUS! !! It is my understanding that you worked VERY Closely with the Bride & Groom (at least 6 hours in just one day alone!) and you really listened to them and learned about them in order to capture exactly the kind of day they wanted to share with their family & friends! My niece & nephew (I finally get to say nephew for real!!!) are such a fun & vibrant couple! And you so BEAUTIFULLY SHOWCASED their Energy & Spirit! This was SO Evident in the Song they chose at the end of their ceremony (a Beautiful Ceremony filled with tradition from both of their faiths).....YET YOU NAILED THE TIMING OF THE SONG AS THEY SEALED THEIR MARRIAGE WITH THE KISS........BAM "I FEEL GOOD"!!! It set the tone for the ENTIRE REST OF THE WEDDING!!! and it only got better from there!!! You are truly a professional! and fantastic at what you do!!! Many people play music at weddings....FEW succeed at making Weddings so memorable! But you did JUST THAT!!! Because of you and the young man who was with you (so sorry I don't know his name) ---You had close to 200 people UP & DANCING the ENTIRE NIGHT!!!
