The cottage is very well located and the amnesties are great. (Gas indoor and outdoor fireplace, jacuzzi, professionally equipped gym, etc) The complimentary shuttle service to/from downtown is a nice plus.

Tetherow vacation homes were perfect for 2 large families coming together for my wedding! There was plenty of space for everyone to mingle and also private enough to have your own room. Loved it, it was beautiful. The venue was a little small for the wedding itself, but it was perfect for the size of this particular wedding. Would have liked the bar/pub to stay open past 11 pm, but they close up and we moved to the vacation rental houses after 11 pm. Everything about our stay was perfect, from the booking to the check-in to the home itself. Beautiful property right outside Bend. We were a group of 11 staying in the 5 bedroom (with 2 kids on the sleeper couch). The house was clean, kitchen had everything (we made wonderful breakfasts), used the washer/dryer, towels soft, and the toiletries were a great local touch. Hot tub was wonderful. I could see Mt Jefferson and the golf course from my room in the lodge. The rooms are amazing with a fireplace and covered deck. I don't usually stay at "lodges" because first off, we use hotels as a stopping point on our way to our final destination. However, this time this was our final destination and we picked a perfect place - come to find out. We also can't really afford to stay at such lodges but they had an awesome special so there you have it.We needed a break from it all and they delivered big time. It's during the more quiet time, as no snow and not a lot of golf going on. We don't golf or ski so we took advantage of that in-between time of not a lot of guests.The room was more than we expected it to be, complete with a wonderful view, to a little patio outside of our room, gas fireplace, to a big bathroom, big comfy bed, and big surprise for my dog. They had a bed for him, some cookies, and of course doggie bags. Even their dog fee was nothing compared to some other places that aren't a quarter as nice as this lodge is. Location of room was awesome as we were downstairs off in a corner so super quiet.I loved their Nespresso machine and the coffee was delicious in the morning.We even went to their restaurant "The Row" twice for dinner just because we didn't want to leave the area. We did hit up Bend for breakfast and a brewery earlier and this location is enough to be out of the city but not enough to drive there in 10 minutes if that.Customer service was charming, sweet and very helpful, none of that snobby feeling you get sometimes at other places like this.All positives and even got lucky with the crisp but no rain weather for both days! Tetherow was of the highest quality it was plush decadent comfortable had a beautiful view and we really enjoyed ourselves. This place is a high-end golf course, but that was not my reason for picking it. For a minimum two-night stay, Tetherow offered first-class amenities at rates equivalent to 3-star motels in Bend. Spacious, clean room; nicely laid out; sweeping views of the golf course and the mountains beyond. Generally very pleasant (microwave, refrigerator; nespresso; excellent bathroom facilities). |Not perfect--our neighbor across the wall from our bed was up at 5:00 am playing what sounded like exercise music, and we could hear it too clearly. Instead of an ice machine, they have a freezer stocked with bags of ice cubes--but they were frozen into solid lumps with no obvious way to break them up. But to be clear, we would definitely return if our plans take us back to the area.|The Hotel is a bit distant from restaurants and shopping, but we ended up eating onsite in "The Row" gastropub, and enjoyed it. Really loved our weekend at Tetherow! We rented a large house to accommodate multiple families with toddler aged children and were blown away by the design and functionality of the home. the last half hour of the trip cost me two hours of waiting time because the Assistant Manager was rude, non professional, doesn't work well when not pressured so I can only assume under pressure he would be a disaster. This is a fantastic property, one of the nicest I have ever stayed at...but my 2nd time here I experienced some maintenance issues that were unexpected and that I don't normally encounter at larger & less-exclusive hotels. The TV cable did not work, and I called the front desk at night to request maintenance but nobody ever came to fix it (maintenance was N/A at night, and they didn't follow up the next morning either). Also, there was no iron in the room, which I had to call and request. Finally, they don't easily accommodate requests for late check-out (although I realize that may just be the norm here because of the exclusivity and high-demand of the property).||||Overall, I still recommend this place for the location, amenities, and the pure beauty of the resort...but I did not have a great experience as I expected. We stayed at Tetherow for a family wedding. My wife and I stayed in a Jr Suite and a few family members rented one of the houses within walking distance of the main facilities. While not inexpensive, it is an excellent value compared to other resort areas we have visited. The Jr. suite was really just a standard room with an extra wall separating the bedroom. Depending on how many visitors you are expecting, the standard room seemed to have more space and a better view for less money. Don't be scared off by the "parking lot view" unless you're planning to spend a lot of time in the room. More...

We were on a month long tour so we were looking for places where we could relax in the evenings. We booked a corner room at the lodge hoping for a comfortable stay. We received much more than expected. We received regular emails from the lodge asking if they could help with any details of our stay, the staff was extremely courteous and professional across the board; check in/out, fitness facility, and restaurant. The room was very spacious, clean, and cozy. The place was so nice that we strongly considered changing the subsequent reservations that we had so we could stay a few more days and relax and explore Bend. Our stay at one of the rental homes at Tetherow was everything we could have hoped for and more. The house was perfectly equipped with everything you could ask for in the nicest home - high end appliances, beautiful finishes, comfortable beds, spacious and open enough for people to spend time together or find a cozy nook for peace and quiet. Our room was very nice. Clean, bed very comfortable, nice view, pool, hot tub all clean and coffee tea in room. Grounds well kept. ROW restaurant had good food and service and a great view from every table. Rooms/buildings not well marked. We head trouble finding our room. Tetherow is a beautiful resort with great sports facility and pool/hot tubs. Tetherow is known for it's amazing golf experience but I am not a golfer. However I very much enjoyed the quick access to paved and unpaved running, hiking and biking trails, including Deschutes River trails. Being a 5 minute drive to the Old Mill District in Bend was a plus and also 20 minutes to Mt. Bachelor and many other outdoor experiences. My large family enjoyed the large 5 bedroom, 5.5 bathroom Paulina #16 vacation home with its amazing southern views and peaceful back yard with a nice grassed area. We sat around the gas fire pit in the morning sun and also during the evening. Enjoyed the private hot tub with southern view of forest and mountains.
