It was my first time ever going there and the Owners were the most nicest people I've ever met. They apologized for the long wait and offered me a drink on the House. The Dishes I ordered were splendid and my husband and I enjoyed ourselves. I will be returning to that particular restaurant again even though I live in South Austin. More...

Good place for Indian cuisine
Was closed for maintenance on arrival.
Great food, so good I got one to go after i ate, also an attached Indian market.
A modest Indian restaurant in good shopping center within 200 feet of cinemark. Ample parking, safe neighborhood. Food is good. Lots of items on menu catering to all taste. More...
Great, tangy chicken vindaloo. Spicy too.
Ordered some take out yesterday and was more than pleased with the dishes. Great vegan options and amazing flavor. Definitely recommend.
The food was so delicious I didn't stop to take a picture. We had the Tikka masala, goat curry, samosas, and garlic Naan and it all tasted wonderful. There are many different kinds of naan which is pretty awesome. We will be back for sure! More...
Its sooo good. The service is great. They are friendly. The food is to die for. Definitely would recommend Teji's!
Food is fabulous!
Delicious rich flavors on the vegetarian plate. The dahl was the best I've tasted in a while, and the palaak paneer was superb! Very fast service and wonderful foods! More...
Delicious! Great service! Very friendly and helpful staff!
Been our fave since we moved to RR. It's all about consistency, their Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamg Saag, and Naan are the stuff of our dreams. My kids crave it monthly. Thank you for never letting us down. And as a small biz owner, finding good help is not easy, esp if we cant afford to pay them $20/hour. Never had an issue.....Thanks More...
I give this spot a thumbs up. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. This place has a cool atmosphere. Ambience reminds me of San Diego's scene.
Excellent food and service. Their prices are very reasonable and the quality of food is very good. Also, server named Subash is very nice and helpful. He has excellent customer service skills. More...

My wife and I enjoy great Indian food. I recommend Tejis. Good food, atmosphere, and service. I especially like menu items from the Tandoor. The mixed plate is a good way to try a little bit of everything from the oven. More...
The tandoori here is legit and is so is the kormaWe get these every timeVery friendly staff trying hard to make sure you have a great meal
Nice Indian food.
The food is good, generally. However, I got garlic naan today and it was awful. It had a medicinal taste. The garlic flakes , I think, were dehydrated, not fresh, and gave it a weird taste. Won't buy it again. But my entree was very good. More...
Best place to eat!
Always great food. I've been to all 3 locations and never been disappointed. I got tandoori chicken and garlic naan this time. The flavor of the chicken was wonderful. The yogurt sauce is my favorite accompaniment. My husband got the mixed grill. The lamb was tender and full of flavor. I'll always recommend this place. More...
The food here is nothing short of amazing. Try the Chicken 65 appetizer next time you're there!
The food is always great. Never too busy.
I should have took a photo of the food but it was too good to interrupt. The service was friendly and observant. It has a good atmosphere. I see why this place has so many good reviews. More...
Thw best Indian food in Austin!!
I love the Lamb Korma, and the courteous staff is very helpful explaining which menu items are gluten free. Many other restaurants are clueless or ignorant about gluten.
Food so great I don't mind the slow and sometimes forgotten service. Go to dine without a rush and you will be happy. if your really hungry you may end up upset. I used to live right down the street from this location and and went all the time and often it kinda seems like they forget about you but I think it's cultural differences and they don't want to bother you while your eating much so don't get upset and enjoy yourself. Also walk the store before you leave . They have some really cool stuff. More...
Great place. Nice experience.
I'm always stuffed after I eat here. I normally get one of the bigger"all in one" plates with a couple dishes, lamb, and a sweet rice dessert. Quiet, calm, with a small grocery store with great prices on seasonings! More...
Nice and tasty food ,highly recomend
The best Indian food in round rock area. I have tried the Tikka Masala and was delicious amazing. You must try
Awesome food n service. Staff is very nice. Will definitely return
Their goat vindaloo is a must! Especially if you have never tried goat meat These guys do it right. Great way to introduce yourself to this healthy protein that's definitely gaining in popularity in the US. It's spicy so be ready for that. Comes with basmati rice, but I always order an extra side of GARLIC naan bread. Also done right and delicious every time. More...
Justifies the Indian taste though quantity wise curries were inadequate.I would love visiting again and trying more options.
Great food. Loved it.

Good Indian Food
The butter chicken was so damn good. It wasn't spicy like I requested it was actually a little sweet. So much flavor, I was very surprised I've never had a butter chicken quite like it(probably because I order all Indian food very spicy, come to think of it I don't know what normal butter chicken tastes like). The naan variations were all pretty good too. Definitely the best Indian food I've had in Austin. More...
Really good and authentic
This is our main place for carryout Indian food. Never lets us down.
Great Tikka Masala
Good food and service, maybe little long wait
This place is so sick. The food and drinks are amazing. Also a suggestion they have Indian "ramen" to the left side of the counter. I suggest you try it, it is quite good. More...
great location to meet with friends. i look forward to going back again. this place has a cool design.
I love the food here. But when the food is less than their normal standards, management is quick to help out.
Was recommended to me by a guest at my job a month ago. Finally got to come to Austin area and came to try this place out. Best Indian food I've had
Visited near twelve, it was not full. I look forward to going back again. Prices were average for the menu.
The food here is delicious, but they're a bit understaffed - food can sometimes take a while. As with most restaurants on the strip, parking is very difficult, so I'd only come if you're on campus or live near campus.
A little pricy for how much you get, but it’s definitely good quality. Almost the same price as Clay Pit which is right down the road. Nice because it’s open late
The food here is really good and filling. If it doesn't, hit me up cause I've been dying to find the secret to not getting full... (don't judge me). People just be complaining for their service for no reason. In fact, the service is exceptional when you eat in. This place deserves 5 stars. The staff are fun to talk with, and the food here is great. More...
Great food, simple and easygoing atmosphere. Portions are big and prices are fairly reasonable - One of my favorite Indian food places in Austin! And gotta love the hours
Absolutely fabulous! The Lamb Sag was exquisite. Tender lamb in rich creamed spinach. Cheese Nan was delicious, as were the samosa. My wife and I also went over to the grocery side and found some coconut shortbread cookies. Make sure you try those, they are delicious as well. Wow! My wife and I have eaten Indian food in many restaurants, both here in the United States and in the UK. The food here at Teji's is the absolute best Indian food we've had anywhere. The lovely waitress (whose name started with an "S", but I can't remember) was superb. There each time you needed her she was there and she wasn't there hen you didn't. You won't find better Indian food or service anywhere. More...
What a Great Indian Restaurant! Excellent Curries and Tandoori. All complimented with Good Service!
Best Indian food. They have to best goat korma.
This place has the best Indian food I've ever eaten.
Teji's awesome. I've been going here for years and have not been disappointed. The grocery section is really neat. You can find all sorts of interesting imported Indian snacks, food and drinks. I love the butter chicken and goat korma. The hara bhara chicken is delicious too but it is insanely spicy(Like you should win a t-shirt for finishing it). More...
Excellent food. Lamb vindaloo was amazing. 5 stars. Service was just ok. 3 stars. Restaurant is attached to the grocery store. The menu is limited. I think this makes the food higher quality. Lots of to go orders out the door while we were there. Garlic naan is not to be missed. More...
Best quick bite next to campus.
Slow food but tastes great.
visited on fri i believe. next time i'll be back with my friends.
Hood down home Indian. No bells and whistles. Just great food. Makes this Brit think of home.
Never particularly ate inside the restaurant. My friend and I used to get Indian food from here all the time since Tejis opened. My absolute favorite are the lassi (mango and salty) and the naan wraps are so so delicious. More...
Good and affordable Indian restaurant. It was my go to place for Indian food in Austin.
I've now eaten here a few times so feel I'm ready to write a solid review.First and foremost, I have to say that every time I have dined hear whether I dined in or carry down the service has been excellent. The wait staff is very helpful if you have questions or want a description of something new that you want to try. They are always pleasant and smiling. They have chicken, beef, lamb, goat and vegetarian options.I've tried different Indian spiced variations with the chicken tikka masala, beef curry, lamb with cashew sauce paneer and vegetable saag vindaloo. I am not fond of goat so I have not tried it.They have full-size entrées with all the different proteins with all the different sauces available so you can pick and choose to suit your taste. My favorite meals here are the combination meals which include a little of this and a little of that and give you the opportunity to try everything from appetizers to dessert pretty much included in your meal. They all come with fresh Naan. I've always been given a small lentil soup with these combination meals and their lentil soup is spot on.They also have Roti, Paratha and Biryanis. I have grown very fond of their samosas so I usually grab an order of those too. I also enjoy the Mixed Vegetable Pakoda-I have tried quite a variety of different dishes here. I have not tried the meats from the tandoor only because I feel like other than being cooked in the tandoor they are not all that unique. They have a variety of beverages. Coffee, Chai Tea, Lassi's, Beer, Wine.Teji's is my favorite Indian Food restaurant in the Cedar Park/Leander area. I recommend you give it a try! More...
We have been to all the nearby Indian restaurants, this is the best one in Cedar Park! Service could be better though.
Incredible food and service. Love this place. It's like a market that serves food. But you will not be disappointed. Yuummmy!!! We ordered tons of dishes and all were incredible. More...
Good taste but a little on the expensive side.
Coffee With A Dash Of Sarcasm
The wait times were short and the food was warm and tasty. Definitely would go again.
Went here for lunch on valentine's day and was quite happy with the decision. The food was really good and the atmosphere is nice. It still feels like a work in progress though. We tried the tandoori chicken and the chicken combo. Both were excellent as was the Naan. The decorations are not all updated and there are some areas needing or being repaired. The smell of the place was a bit off putting as well. I suspect that a little too much of the smoke from the kitchen is getting into the dining room. More...
Great little place in the town center development. Gracious hosts, the curry combo's provide a generous amount of food for the money. They give you plenty of rice, a huge portion of naan, and a small desert to finish the meal. I try and stop here when in Cedar Park or Leander. More...
My favorite place to eat in Round Rock!!
Very delicious food
North indian rich gravy food.. YES!.. but would not recommend the biriyani or rice dishes.. not a place for it.
Great food. Decent staff but low energy and lacks ambience
Super good paneer
Best Indian food in the greater Austin area.
Oh my heavenly deliciousness! I’ve been coming to this Indian grocery for months to get spices. I ordered food for lunch for the first time and thier Chana Masala tastes like it was made in their home exclusively for their family and friends! Chunks of veggies! Flavorful spices! Perfect rice! Yum! I hope the food is just as great the next time I order.Defiantly a gem in the Round Round and Austin areas. More...
great lunch spot
Food is excellent. Prices are fair. The only reason they're not getting 5 stars is bc they forgot our Naan bread once (and we were charged for it anyway).
Y'all. This is by far the most authentic, delicious Indian food I've had! I've tried Tarka and others but Tejis is so good! Tarka is ok for an Americanized Indian but if you are looking for authentic, this is it. The quality and authenticity of the food! superb. I get aloo gobi and curry chicken with plain naan every time and I'm never disappointed. Mmmm More...
Delicious. Best to order many things to share. Also has an attached Indian grocery with great selection.
Great Indian food in the North Austin/Round Rock area
Love Teji's and have been going here for years. Great Indian food with a medium spice level. Only thing lacking would be a lunch buffet.
Great experience and good food!
The Chicken Tiki Masala is amazing. The food is fabulous. However the Chicken Tiki Masala may be the best I have had.
Always loved Teji's. Kinda hole-in-the-wally but that's part of the charm. Great food. A little pricey though
The food was great, you must try their butter chicken and garlic naan! The service was poor, and the bathroom was disgusting. DISGUSTING, there was blood on the sink... disgusted. More...
Good food. Lots of vegetarian options. They also serve lamb and goat.
I am not fond of this culinary marve, however the place itself is clean, service was fast. Give it a try if you are into this type of foods!
Great food. Service is ok. A little training would help. We keep going back for the food.
We are there almost every week so in love with this place !!!
Amazing place, wonderful and welcoming staff. The food is superb. I've tried a couple Indian restaurants, Here is my favorite by far. recommend
My absolute favorite Indian food in all of Austin! Always have incredible service/cuisine and if it wasn't so far away I'd probably be in multiple times a week!
Very good, relaxing, love the lamb chili and garlic nan. lamb boti kabob with nan equally delicious. they have a veggue okra tomato gravy dish that is a treat, too. loved them for years!
Good food at a good price
addicted to yellow dal and this does not disappoint. samosas good love the green chutney. masala chai right on. this location is much better than the cedar park one which failed to serve the puff bread, gave me a samosa which was frozen in the middle, and had really slow service. go to this one in round rock.
Very good food at small price. The staff is always so friendly and helpful.
Great meal! I even took home some for my husband who prefers home cooked. The flavors took me home. The combo portion is smaller, but the price is a good value.
Always great Indian food here.
Good Punjabi food. Not for those looking for ambience and service
We went to this place for the first time and were astounded by the quality of food and service. We like Indian food but had avoided the small restaraunts in Cedar Park thinking that they were too fast food modeled. We were so very wrong. Teji's was wonderful. Staff was willing to explain the things on the menu that we were unfamiliar with and everything taste great . More...
What a wonderful local place for Indian Cuisine. The manager was so kind and answered our questions regarding the flavors and heat of different dishes. When each dish arrived we were impressed with its presentation and taste. Definitely give it a try! More...
Great food great service.
This was the yummiest Indian food I've had in Texas. My parents' friend took us and this place did not disappoint. Flavors on point, the naan was pillowy perfection and the vindaloo was actually fiery hot with flavor. We had a number of appetizers and entrees. My parents are not adventurous eaters - never had Indian - and they loved it!!! If I lived here, I'd be here every night for take out More...
Not sure why it took so long to try this place, but it is now one of my favorite Indian places and fairly close by. I have only tried the tikka Masala and Korma chicken as far as main dishes, but both are excellent. The garlic naan's are also delicious and the rice is addicting. We've also gotten the mango lassi several times which is basically mango smoothie. It is also very good. Attached to the restaurant is also a small market where you can get all your Indian cooking needs as well as jewelry, clothes, scarves, furniture, and a variety of other goods. If you are in the mood for good Indian food in the Round Rock area, I would recommend you give this spot a try. We do typically get the food to go these days as the ambience of the restaurant is nothing special. If you like Tarka, I'm pretty sure you will like Teji's more. More...
Food was good and service was quick. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and a Garlic Naan. The Masala was a little sweeter than I'm used to, but still very good.
Surprisingly very delicious! It doesn’t look like much from the outside (or inside, really) but the food was delicious & they had tons of options on the menu.
I already ate part of the combo and the pic does not include the dessert yet either included in the combo. The food was delicious and a good deal for the combos especially. They have a variety of stuffed Naan Breads that are wonderful as well. They deliver thru Grub Hub and Uber Eats and one other delivery service. More...
All of the locations serve great food!
One of my favorite Indian restaurant in Austin. Always fresh and service is top notch.
Awesome service. Ordered food for party. Delicious and tasty food. Recommend to all. Thanks to Lakhbir. You rock .
Love the vindaloo
If you're looking for Indian food this is a great choice. But if you want also a clean bathroom and a nice service this might not be your place.
Best Indian food in Town. Even though Dallas is surrounded with good ethnic eateries, we drive to Austin every month to get the most authentic Indian taste. Excellent customer service and beautiful ambience. Worth every penny you would spend. More...
i had the chicken curry and naan and it was AMAZING. OMG! Delicious and so flavorful. I ordered delivery thru SEAMLESS and could not be more pleased. The delivery driver said he has never had Indian food before but really wants to because of the aroma wafting in his car each time he delivers...lol. The food is really good Peeps! More...
Amazing chicken tika masala, palak paneer and garlic nan. It's always fun to look at all the stuff in their grocery store, we picked up a box of interesting samosas...for much later....a nap is in order after our feast....zzzzz More...
Extremely good and fair priced Indian food. Only place I can find pashwari naan
Excellent, delicious food, but the service is lacking.
Teji's can be a bit small, and has some great dishes, although a few can be less rewarding. It's a great place to get the Garlic Naan and Butter Chicken, and has a consistent taste and flavor. They always provide plenty of food for the price, and have a half-decent biryani. The few vegetable based dishes they offer are less than stellar, but get the job done. If you are looking for a quick Indian food stop, and do not care overly much about authenticity, Teji's is a great option. More...
Affordable Indian food. The largest naan I have ever seen!
Excellent food!! I tried several different Indian places this done is a keeper- however if you like your food made a certain way you need to tell them because they don’t always ask they just make it a standard way. For example I love the dish Saag - but I like it have a more “souper” base so I tell them “please make Saag with a more “souper” base rather then a thick base with paneer (or your choose of meat) medium heat please” :) More...
Always get the combo plate..
Nice place. Good food. Details like this one:
Great food. This is one of our favorite Indian food restaurants in Austin and round rock area. They do a lot of dishes very well, so breakaway from your usual chicken Tika masala. We don't use the grocery side of the store very often, but do see people in there quite a bit while we are eating. More...
We always go here for Indian food. Great reliable service and food! Kids love it too. I've tried several of the vegetarian meals, all good. Chicken Tikka masala and lamb Tikka masala are wonderful! Watch out for items that are marked spicy- they mean it! Chicken vindaloo is way spicy but super flavorful. Onion kulcha and Nan are spot on. More...
Expert food, top notch staff.
Great food, i really enjoy eating here.
Have to stop here to pick up some paneer tikka masala and palak aloo any time I'm in Round Rock. Good food for relatively cheap plus a grocery section so you can cook your own later.
Awesome Indian food. Great people there!
Food OK, Service minimal. Hair in the bottom of rice bowl.
The best Indian food so far in the US
This nice secluded place in Austin near UT offers excellent Indian cuisine for reasonable prices!
Charles A. Lupain M.
Great dining spot! Thanks again.
I have spent a lot of my hard earned money here... don’t regret it at all. Try the lamb Korma with some garlic naan.
The service is great! The food is outstanding! They were very polite and timely with service and just getting us a high chair was quicker than most places. The cost was great!
Came here today for a late lunch and food was wonderful, Had the Chicken Vindaloo and it was perfect, spicy and delicious, will be back soon!!!
Wow. This place blew my mind! Super clean place with the most amazing smells are the first indications that you should stay and try a FEW things. I don't remember our waiter introducing himself but he was very helpful and most polite. He was running the entire restaurant without missing a beat either. My husband ordered the mixed grill plate and we were informed that it would take about twenty minutes because they had to grill so many things. When is that ever a bad thing?! IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. He got about six different meats and we loved them all. I got a lamb curry with a side of garlic naan and I demolished it. Our brother in law ordered a chicken curry combo and he also really enjoyed it. He actually finished every bite with the exception of his naan and he had never had Indian food prior to this meal. Hands down the best Indian food we've found in Austin and the cleanest store I've ever been in. Staff and food were the highlights though. We will definitely return. More...
Ooohhh my goodness. If you love Indian or want to branch out and sample ...... go here!!!!! I have taught Indian cooking and this restaurant is in a category all by itself!
Food is tasty. Good service.
I love this place for lunch. The service is friendly, and the food prepared fresh, and the naan is excellent.
What a great little indo-pak restaurant with delicious food and good prices right in the middle of Austin!
Butter chicken is good. Sometimes can be a little dry. Biryanis come in massive portions. Food overall is good, tight space but never crowded.
Can be backed up, but the food is great and cheap! My favorite is the lamb curry with level 2 spice
We just love the Biryani from here, chicken & lamb. The portions are good size for the money you are paying. I think this is the only Indian restaurant in Austin which gives good size portions.
Great place to eat but keep in mind that it gets busy around 8pm! I recommend the lamb curry!
Best Indian food in Austin
I really enjoyed the Food but the service was soso.
Good food. A bit pricey, but they give pretty big portions so it's worth it. Was a little too spicy for my liking, but good overall.
Closest Indian food to campus
The wait can be a problem sometimes but the food is always good.
Good Indian Restaurant. Very near to UT.
Fantastic Indian cuisine in a low-key right-off-campus locale. I've been coming here for years, and it never fails to impress. The vindaloo is first-rate; appropriately spicy, with depth of flavor that is hard to beat. The naan bread and all the tandoori foods have just the right amount of char to bring out the flavor. Service is always friendly as well but the place is small so sometimes it's a bit crowded for lunch with all the UT faculty and students eating here. Go early (11:30 am) if you want to get in and out quickly. More...
Dank Indian Food
Had lunch with another friend's family. Food was decent. It's a small place. Quantities of dishes served are somewhat less. No parking facility.
Best palak paneer.
Obsessed with the chicken curry and the service!
Best Indian in central Austin
Amazing food, worth price and wait time at night.
Best goat I've ever had
Tasty Food, curry was having lot of unnecessary water.. Little expensive.. Lamb and chicken biryani was awesome and worth try for sure.
Delicious food, but they do need to work on their quality control. I always get the chicken tikka masala and sometimes it comes with significantly less chicken than other times. Last time I got only four small pieces of in my entire dish, so basically I paid 10 bucks for sauce. Also, sometimes the naan is fluffy, sometimes crispy/burnt. More...
Best taste and ambiance..
Great indian fod near UT! Good portion size and is open till 11PM. Americanized Indian food but still tastes Yumm!
Dinesh Reddy Bethi
Definitely tru lamb biryani with spicy level 1 . Awesome is the word to describe it .

Good indian food
Loved the food!!
Solid Indian food w good prices. Join the email list for good coupon deals.
Loved it!!! The restaurant was open on a Sunday which was nice and it was a quiet, peaceful atmosphere that was so relaxing. The food was unique and very good compared to other Indian restaurants. I had this one appetizer that was fried cauliflower. It was unbelievable!!! It's called Gobi Manchurian!!! Never had it before and loved it. Highly recommended!!! More...
The basic Indian food and rice is good but thoroughly check your items if late night. The day shift is amazing and food, thus Naan are better prepared.
Jennifer and all of the girls here go out of their way to make sure everyone will have an excellent experience.. I love this place
Nice food and nice place to eat
It's exactly what you expect. Standard, good Indian food. Nothing flashy. Nothing bad.
Sooo glad they keep late hours! Love getting take-out after working late nights sometimes. Great korma and garlic naan.
The food quantity could be more
Small place, small prices, the biggest flavors and the only place to go to for Indian food on a college budget.
The food is really good. We liked both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options and taste.... both were equally good. The place is usually crowded, but you can get a table in a few minutes. The hours are very friendly and the staff are very cordial. More...
I give this place two thumbs up. Prices were fair.
Some of the spiciest, most delicious Indian I've ever had
I've been getting Teji's for years - it's my go to for take out (not a great atmosphere for dining in) and I'm never disappointed or let down. Plus it's one of the only places that isn't scared to actually make your food spicy... More...
Pretty good Indian food, decent prices. It has insane hours, so during exam weeks you'll be covered.
A really good food. Long service times, though.
Couldn't stop eating so very good
Good menu, good ambience, great location and hours. I will be seen there often.
Great little unassuming college-student late night haunt with surprisingly good Indian food. I bring my Indian (raised there) girlfriend--she approves, though we had an argument about what "Chicken Tikka Masala" was right before I went there the first time, and even though I "won the argument", it was pretty unhappy...Luckily the food (especially the CTM & Naan) is so good that we made it back for many happier memories afterwards. More...
Great fresh food made when you order it. It may be small but the flavors are so big. Awesome choice for indian food on the drag
Food is great. Need to work on cleanliness.
Great food, open late!
Great food, nice small restaurant, really weird employee's.
The lamb korma is soooooo crazy good. Really all the food here is phenomenal. The garlic naan is a must try item. The portions are pretty big so you can have some leftovers for later! The lines can be a bit long because the place just pretty small, but it's definitely worth the wait. If you're not planning to eat in the store, it's worthwhile to call ahead and order. There's no parking so you have to walk. More...
The food is so good and the serving size is generous. Authentic Indian cuisine.
Always delish. They deliver too.
Great Indian store as well
Legendary variety of flavors, authentic feel, location needs refurbishing ASAPI know that Indian cuisine can seem a little overwhelming to the American palette at first, but believe me when I say it ‘s worth the acclimation. There’s a world of flavors waiting for you on the other side.Tejis has a reputation in Austin for delivering delicious yet accessible Indian cuisine. And it delivers just that; it has something for everybody (spicy and non-spicy). Try the butter chicken wings, the samosas, and/or the Naan Peshwari. Trust me.Room for improvement: This location needs some serious redecoration. The place needs more light, new blinds, and more appealing reorganizing so it doesn’t look so run down. Match your great cuisine with surroundings of the same caliber. More...
Well, I got the butter chicken and it was...different than the butter chicken I'd had before. So after I got over the shock, I decided it was ok. My kids got the channa masala and it was delicious with added oniins and tomatoes. Service was really good. After we ate we checked out the grocery. They had pretty much anything I would have needed to make an authentic Indian meal. Portions are definitely NOT Texas sized, which in my opinion is a good thing, but some may be dissappointed, so I thought it was worth noting. More...
If there would be a sixth star, I'd happily select it. Teji's offer THE best Indian cuisine in Austin area. As an Asian food connoisseur, I absolutely love the cooking--the spices, Vindaloo chicken wings, the fresh ingredients (yes, they buy everything cooked that day, no FREEZING, no GIMMICKS), after meal shopping at the Indian grocery store right next to the dining area, etc. etc. Oh, yes, and freshly made sauces in a cold box right next to the counter... If you haven't eaten at Teji's, do so STAT. More...
Love this food!
Tasty food. Good service. A little pricey.
Good food with real spice. Uninteresting décor but decent, friendly service
The food is very good. They have a good vegetarian section but also offer some meat options so it's good for everyone. I know that it common with Indian restaurants but I still like to mention it. They have a good selection of naan and appetizers, lassis, and chai. I am really glad to live near this place, it is really good. Plus, they also have an Indian grocery store so if I spices or something I can just get it there! More...
Super tasty as well as quick service. Also has attached Indian grocery with lots of English treats too.
Did takeout, loved the food!
Great food, wonderful service. The mango lassi was AWESOME.
Very good food and the waitress was very nice explained everything I would definitely suggest eating at this reasturant
Jose D. Hernandez
This place has awesome food but the service can get some improvement.
Excellent quality. It is my first time in this location, but I have been to the Tajis in Round Rock for years and the quality is consistent.
we are loyal happy customers, never had any issues and we order at least twice a month. cockroach guy's fake review is hilarous though XD
Teji's Cedar Park location shares the same great recipes as the Round Rock location, conveniently located in the 1890 Ranch area. Unfortunately, while the food is still exceptional, the service is not always up to the standard of their main location (the reason for 4 stars instead of 5). Usually just fine during prime time hours, it can be a wait to get your food at off hours. Luckily the awesome food makes up for it! This some of the best Indian food in the Austin area, authentic to its roots, but with enough Americanization to appeal to most palates. Highly recommend all of the Teji's locations anytime you have a hankering for great Indian. Try the Korma - it'll keep you coming back! :-) More...
Best mango lassi!! Great food thanks to bolon and chaparro also s/o to garbala
Service and good are so consistently fantastic! Can't get enough of this place!!!
Best Indian food restaurant in the area.
The most delicious indian food in the Austin area!! This restaurant is perfect for take out (or delivery via Favor/UberEats), since it's located in a grocery store, which is not the best dinning-in atmosphere. Dont be fooled by the casual/relaxed interior though, because the food will WOW you regardless of where it is consumed! Definitely give it a try, you won't regret it! More...
Love this place. Service is always polite and timely, the food is always extremely tasty and fresh, and the price is good. If you want real Indian food go here. And the market inside the restaurant has a lot of good stuff to choose from, too. More...
Amazing chicken tika masala, palak paneer and garlic nan. It's always fun to look at all the stuff in their grocery store, we picked up a box of interesting samosas...for much later....a nap is in order after our feast....zzzzz More...
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FOOD!!! Try the chicken wings (it's to die for!) with the chicken biriyani which goes so well together. We also tried the pani puri too and it's like the motherlode of flavors. I'm still finishing my dinner here but the review couldn't wait till I was done. It's that good More...
Oh so good! Surpisingly good. U want a spicy goat biryani? This should be the place your tummy directs you to! Why? Flavored rice, succulant, well seasoned and juicy pieces of meat at a reasonable price. I was always under the impression that the food here caters to the locals and may not qualify as authentic. I am so glad they proved my wrong. I would come back again for their spicy goat biryani! More...
I love their chicken masala!
I enjoyed the butter chicken with Naan, and a mango lassi. Delicious every time. My wife and I had a very pleasant conversation because there wasn't any loud music, or an annoying crowd.
I'm not very experienced at eating food from India but Teji's was highly recommended and it did not disappoint. We tried several dishes and all were excellent.
Delicious Indian food. Everything here is good, and the portions are ridiculously large (the biryanyi could feed like 3 adults.). Fast and friendly service.
Best biryani place
The food is average but do not expect authentic Indian food. They have decent naans :)
I love Indian food...like really love it and I love Teji's in Round Rock. I've been to India several times and find this to be quite close to true Indian cuisine. We've been going to Teji's back when they were a small grocery store + tiny restaurant...about 1/2 the size they are now. It's been cool to see them double the space where they are and add a second location. The food is fantastic!! Authentic. More...
Best game in town for Indian food. The market is cool to, especially all the English chocolates.
We love Teji's, our go-to Indian spot in Round Rock. They are consistently good, where other places in town can be hit or miss. They have a little Indian market attached, don't forget to check it out as well. More...
Food very good and fair price. Waiters are better suited to McDonald's counter. Hire some people who have a personality.
Very good food at affordable prices. Not the best Mali Kofta I've ever ever had, but it was still darned good. Delicious naan and creative choices for the naan flavors which makes feeding the children easy. We're make this a regular thing. There's a mini Indian grocery in the adjoining room. More...
Food was great
First time dining here, loved everything on their menú. Simply loved it...
Excellent service, great prices and wide menu selection !
My boyfriend took me here on a date. It was such a lovely experience the food was wonderful and we've been ordering from them on grub hub non stop since. Hopefully we can make it back to the restaurant some day soon! More...
A hidden gem, the food is outstanding.
probably the best indian place in Austin area - I have been going there for the last 10 years and food quality is excellent - the owner is very friendly and manages his shop well. I have been to all his stores (all 4) and they are excellent. More...
Best Indian food both Vegetarian and non vegetarian. Very tasty and authentic food.
Both food and service were top drawer.
Great service; food left something to be desired.
The food was delish and the people were nice
Handicap parking and wheel chair accesable though not really to the bathrooms. Great indian meals including wonderful naan. Good service and they serve wine too! Grocery side has some items not found in most store. Staff is helpful. More...
Tasty food with good price

Wonderful service great Indian food!

Amazing authentic Indian food. Owners are exceptional at customer service, staff is friendly and caring.
The chicken 65 was pretty good! The butter chicken is decent. The chicken tikka masala is better.
Always get good service. The food portions look small, but they're pretty filling. I still always take left overs. The different kinds of nan don't usually have enough filling so, we just started sticking with garlic nan. My husband and i do my usually go to the store part. Usually just buy candy. More...
Finally decided to check this place out, was not disappointed. We had Gobi Manchurian, chicken Tikka mixed grill and garlic naan, so so very good. Staff was friendly, food was hot and delicious. Generous portions. Will be back!! More...
Amazing food, really love it here.
Mr. Teji is a man among men. Also, they will spice to your liking. So go big. Great little grocer too.
Right quantity and good price!
Best Indian food in Austin and surrounding areas
This amazing Indian food is worth the drive.
Don't judge the book by its cover such a true statement for this restaurant .. the restaurant may not look that great inside !! But the food is delicious .. tried the chicken combo .. super high quality .. even a A grade restaurant has to consult this chef over here !! More...
Great little place attached to a grocery store. Extremely casual but still full service. See yourself when you come in and the server will find you.
We were there off-peak, so the waitress was very attentive. Food-wise it was pretty good. My 1st time at an Indian restaurant, so it was the best I'd had.
Food was authentic. Good and great price
Decided to try this spot out with my girlfriend. We had tons of questions about the dishes when we sat down to dine in and our server was very helpful and patient. The food was excellent - we were both satisfied with the dishes we had ordered. More...
Fast service. All the food was flavorful. Lots of choices. Great vegetarian variety. Filtered ice water. Right priced. Shop is connected go see what they have!
Service and food.was.great?
Authentic food, reasonably priced
Deliciosa comida exelente lugar.
When we are in Round Rock we always stop in
The food here is fantastic. Very pleasant dining experience, takeout and delivery are also an option. Great restaurant!
Great Indian Food! Have gone here many times over the last several years and am always happy leaving there after a meal.
Authentic North Indian food. Love the Samosa Chat!
So this is the place to go to get a bang for your buck, which is why I gave it four stars. Obviously for those prices you can't expect gourmet food.My food recommendations:I'd steer clear of the chaats bc they are just okay. Nothing wow or shocking. it barely satisfied my chaat craving. You can probably make it yourself. The chicken 65 was great! The Navrathan korma was delicious. Now my fellow diabetics and low carb folks, steer clear Of the chicken naan wraps. I thought the wrap was going to be filled with curry chicken or chicken and gravy. Instead the giant wrap had 3 pieces of chicken and the rest was rice and curry sauce. That being said, one naan wrap can feed two people. Portion sizes are large More...
This is my absolute favorite Indian food restaurant. The staff is so friendly and the food is AMAZING. The lamb tikka Marsala is my favorite and the garlic nan is fantastic. Overall I would give it 10 stars if I could More...
The food is absolutely delicious!!!!! We come here every time I'm in town. It's A MUST!! So amazing!
By far my favorite restaurant in Round Rock. The chicken vindaloo is red hot and delicious. If you're a fan of I dian food, this is the place.
Butter chicken was not good, chicken tika masala was pretty good. Good naan, ok samosas.
Been going here for years and it is always worth a visit when in the area. Living in el paso we are deprived of authentic Indian cuisine. The birhani was traditional and flavorful with fresh herbs and spices. I love the tandoori chicken which is moist and so good with the cooking yogurt sauce. We have also tried many of their curries which have all been very good as well. You can't go wrong, order anything! Their Naan is also the perfect texture and not dense and chewy like so many restaurants.Service was great and you can also purchase many Indian grocery items after you eat at their shop! More...
The food was very good! I especially recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala, Naan, and Kheer for dessert.
I absolutely loved the egg curry. The workers were all nice, and the place was fairly clean.

Such good food!! We got chicken masala, lamb vindaloo, and a chicken rice combo (can't think of the name) but all had such good flavor and spice! Will definitely be back!
