My fiancé and I had a great experience with Tatiana. We hired her to shoot our engagement photos, and she was willing to sit with us (in person) in advance of the shoot to discuss location options in NYC.
She gave us her honest opinion about all of the locations we were considering, and helped guide us to our choice (Washington Sq Park / West Village area). Tatiana was responsive to our questions in the lead up to the shoot, even going and checking out the location a week in advance to ensure that construction had ended.
The day of the shoot, Tatiana directed our poses, many of which were predetermined but some of which were clearly determined on the spot based on lighting and the environment around us. She was also receptive to the poses my fiancé brought to show her. We ran over our time and Tatiana extended the shoot without hesitation at our request.
Most importantly - the photos are fabulous. If I could sum things up: it was difficult to choose an engagement photo for our save the date card because there were so many great photos to choose from! I highly recommend Tatiana.

We are OBSESSED with every photo. Tatiana’s style is more editorial, which made us look like celebrities (according to friends and family).
For being only one photographer, I was amazed at how she was able to capture every special moment. She was everywhere we needed her to be, did not miss a single shot!
We chose not to do an engagement shoot since we got married within 7 months of the proposal. I sometimes find engagement shoots awkward to look at, but we had one phone call where we discussed all the details of the day, which sealed the deal. We did not even need to meet her in person! I am so thankful for her beautiful work! Would recommend her to any and everyone!

My fiancé and I are from Toronto and visited NYC for my 28th birthday. Little did I know, he planned a proposal and hired Tatiana to capture it all!
Tatiana was accommodating and flexible to work with during the scheduling, helping him out with location ideas and going back and forth through the extensive planning.
The day of, Tatiana captured the proposal itself and then headed out with us to The High Line to take some incredible scenic shots. Not being familiar with the area, we relied on Tatiana to guide us and she did just that. She has an eye for location and detail!! We received our photos via email (a downloadable file along with a password protected gallery) and we could not be happier!!! She made us feel comfortable and at ease throughout the whole process. If you're looking for a photographer in the NYC area, I can't recommend Tatiana enough!

My wife and I hired Tatiana to shoot both our engagement and wedding photos and we are over the moon with the results. Neither of us had any experience getting professional photos taken, but Tatiana made us feel comfortable and was able to naturally guide us through how to have our picture taken with stunning results. She worked with me all the way from a year ago when we finalize the wedding date to our wedding. She is meticulous and have a great eye for unique photo spot. She is flexible and will go the extra mile to get you the perfect shots.
