Tashman ain't your average hardware store. They replaced my screens, installed glass shower doors for in my place & made me duplicate keys. They let me authorize my handyman to purchase supplies on my account when he needs something & they have incredible advice. From plumbing to glass they handle everything as though They're family & always make me feel welcome. What's the difference between those new light bulbs & the ones I already have? What can I do to stop the cold air from coming in from under my door? How often should I change my a/c filter? Latex or oil based paint? Airplanes are loud, and we live near the airport. Even with the doors and windows closed, we would need to pause a TV show to wait for an airplane to take off because it would drown out the audio. Getting to sleep at night could be a challenge....Tashman's solved our noise problem. Every window and exterior door in our house was touched. In same cases, the glass was replaced with better and thicker glass. In same cases, an additional pane of glass was added. And in some cases, the entire window or door was replaced.Tashman's did the work with high quality materials and high quality workmanship. And they followed up on every little detail until it was done well. Tashman is an excellent & incredible resource for getting things done that you know nothing about. I'm not handy with repairing stuff around my condo. Send them a picture and they'll tell you if they can fix it & how much it'll cost. Their prices are good too! One thing they did was they replaced all of the 30 year old screens for the windows & sliding doors in my condo. The guys that installed gave good old fashioned service, were fast and did an amazing job. Family owned small businesses like Tashman are rare. I went there today to get a attachment for my kitchen window. A fellow there (not sure of his name, but he wore glasses and was in his mid thirties) was very helpful. He helped me find the proper part and advised on how to change out a piece to make this old piece of hardware. When it didn't work, I brought it back, but he helped me get the rivet out and made  it accessible for the new piece. He really went out the extra mile and helped so much! More...

i found the customer service responsive but most importantly knowledgable. You have no downtime asking 4 people and getting an inadequate response. At Tashman they love and breathe both general hardware but more importantly are the oy company you can trust for window screens and window installation. Their delivery is on time priced on point and have 30 years of experience. We as a business and as family have never gone elsewhere. one more point they are solution driven. we had very complicated French doors for our outdoor patio. I had some new windows installed over my old window to keep out noise and smoke (I live in a fire zone and have a neighbor who smokes cigarettes). Tashman was terrific! Their professionalism, kindness, ability to listen, and most of all accuracy of measurement of my windows has changed my life. As my landlords would not consent to double glazing my bedroom windows, Tashman did something just as good. Man this place is awesome! Tucked away off of Santa Monica blvd is the best hardware store in the Beverly Hills/WeHo area. I went for my first time yesterday to pick up some pest killing sprays and ended up buying a Weber Grill for almost 30% off! On top of that there was a little misunderstanding with the total initially and they threw in a free $20 bag of Traeger wood pellets for the trouble. -There was no trouble at all!They definitely gained a loyal customer yesterday and you should definitely check this out before going to Koontz or all the way to Home Depot or Lowes. Great service from beginning to end. We are very happy with our windows and doors. Tashman Home Center installed many oversized windows which involved cutting through the walls, repairing the stucco​, painting and obtaining the final city inspection. Kenny and Joey were part of the process at every step to ensure it was what we expected. An added bonus was the fact that they are local!! I would certainly recommend them to my real estate clients in the Hollywood Hills and the surrounding area. We recently purchase a building built in 1911 that had original windows.we were seeking to mover our office to the second floor and needed new windows that would help with sound and insulation, since we are on Western Ave in Korea Town, this is a very busy and loud street. Met with Joey Shea, he came out and met with us.  We had our mind set on a certain type of windows which were costly, Joey gave us a cheaper option to help us save money that would work just as well, considering we are taking down the building in 5 years.His recommendation not only saved us money but gave us the quite and insulation we asked for.  I 100% recommend them for their quality and their  honesty. This is my favorite kind of hardware store - the stuffed to the ceilings local spot with friendly people and a helpful attitude.  As opposed to those giant box stores where you could wander about for hours without anyone asking if you need assistance.  I just came here to get keys made.  And they do that.  Quickly and for probably the first time ever, all 3 keys actually worked!  Also, they will copy those "Do Not Duplicate" keys...  because honestly, anyone can put that on a key...  it's not a legally binding thing by any stretch.This is an all-around much more pleasant stop for my limited hardware store needs than the behemoth down on Sunset.  In and out in 5 minutes.  And some quirky signs scattered throughout make the whole thing feel even more like a scavenger hunt. I found the customer service at Tashman's Ace Hardware to be 'above and beyond' in a day when the big box stores dominate but you can't ever find anyone knowledgeable to help you. Anthony found just what I wanted , arranged assembly for a small additional fee and even called me to let me know it was ready. The location was a bit out of our way to go there, but the excellent customer service and individual attention was well worth it...and the price was great and totally competitive too! More...

I was so very pleased with Tashman's answer to my faulty screens.  I have wired/armed screens on all windows. Two of them were failing and setting off the alarm.  After getting a high estimate to repair and/or replace I decided to see what Tashman would do for me.  Pleasant surprise.  Tashman's pricing was very much less than the estimate I had received and Tashman's rep looked at all the screens, tested them and then demonstrated and informed me of which were in a soon to be failure mode.  He was so very professional and knowledgeable that it was no problem for me to say "Go ahead."  That was a few years ago and the screens are functioning well.There is no question that Tashman's is the "place to go" and I will do so if necessary. I had nine windows , 4 of which needed to be replaced. When I met Kenny, I immediately trusted him to do the job. It's a family business, many years of experience. They measure, take the order and you pay half down and wait. It's not cheap so waiting to pay the rest was a plus for me . It takes 5 to 6 weeks, but it's well worth it. When they installed the 4 windows, they were so beautiful that even though they matched my older 5 windows, I told them to replace the rest. Same system, measure, quote, pay half, and wait. Now they are all replaced! The workers were diligent, very professional, and quick. They cleaned up and mess left by the older windows being taken out. It looks sensational!! In between all of that, I had Kevin (who does shower door replacement), install a new shower door. Tashman is a company I trust completely to do the best job.
