After just one visit to Tara Wellness I felt better than 10 visits to other acupuncturists. Garryn is exceptionally attentive and knowledgeable. She listened to all of my concerns and issues, and explained everything as she was doing it. The office is relaxing and welcoming and I left feeling like a new person! Garryn is awesome at her work! I love coming into her quiet and peaceful space. It's easy to find, park and in a great Wash Park location. Â Very easy to schedule online or over the phone. She is very knowledgeable in acupuncture and various Chinese Medicine needs. I've never had as much back pain relief as I had when I went to her. I will definitely be going back! I first sought out acupuncture through Garryn because I was experiencing some leg cramps due to all the miles I'd been running. Garryn was extremely professional from the onset and made me feel right at home. I explained what had been taking place within my body and Garryn listened intently in a way that no other acupuncturist I'd visited ever had before. Once I was finished, Garryn took the time to walk me through the acupuncture process and highlighted that I'd need 6 treatments to see results. I saw her twice a week for three weeks and sure enough by my sixth and final treatment my pain was completely gone!! I still continue to go to Tara Wellness now, just on a less frequent basis. I would recommend anyone to Garryn- she truly has a way with this practice and she can even prescribe herbs if needed! More...

Garryn is an extremely knowledgable and insightful acupuncturist. I was recently visiting the San Jose area and received my first treatment with her. I was in desperate need of relief from my chronic migraines and after hearing so many good words about her reputation I decided to give her a try. I have had several acupuncture treatments from my regular accupunsturist back home in Chicago ,so I was a little nervous about trying someone new. She immediately calmed my nervous energy with her caring bedside manner. She answered all of my questions and even gave me a future prevention plan. She cured my pain and left me with great herbal suggestions. I will definitely visit Tara wellness again if I am in the area. More...
