We cook organic masa tamales (Gluten and Lard free)
A tamale is a wrapped hand-held food basically prepared with corn masa and filled up with multiple ingredients. We do prepared meat, vegetarian, vegan and sweet fillings and we have them in two different kinds of natural wraps: corn husk or banana leaf.

I tried tamales from TA in the town of Seguin, TX. The Court street coffee shop sells them. problem is, they run out of tamales all the time. The tamales are delicious. They taste flavorful, but without the junk: not greasy. The ingredients are clean and easily identified. More...

They’ve got vegan tamales, vegetarian, and definitely something for you carnivores! Absolutely LOVE the Black Bean & Goat Cheese and the Pork tamales! Go with the Salsa Verde (Green Sauce) if you’re in for spicy amazing flavor addition! Super friendly people always serving healthier options and keeping it traditional! Saw this place at the farmer's market next to Barton Creek mall. I got the chiapaenco banana leaf tamale for $5. It's amazing! The only problem is it filled me up so I couldn't try anything else on the menu. Definitely worth a stop. Make sure you get plenty of green salsa cause it's good enough to drink if you can stand the heat. More...

We have been buying from tamale addiction for special occasions for a long time now. They have numerous, scrumptious vegetarian tamales. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Just for the heck of it we drove to their Manor location today to pick up our tamales for Easter Sunday for a family get together. We were surprised at how large their operation is there. But the thing that was the most surprising was how incredibly immaculately clean the entire facility was. We keep a clean house and kitchen but I don’t think we can match the cleanliness of this facility. I simply don’t know how they keep it like that. Congratulations to them on having wonderful tamales in a fantastically clean setting. in addition, the people that we dealt with had great people skills and were very helpful regarding storing, heating up of the tamales etc. More...

Amazing taste, reminiscent of Yucatecan tamales. Tried my first one at Bennu Coffee, with a Mexican hot chocolate. I thought I was in San Miguel de Allende eating the same, where I'd buy them in the public park each morning.

I drive by all the time on the way to work, but finally purchased some tamales to try this week at the Wednesday Mueller Farmer's Market. So glad I did! We tried the chicken mole and beef tinga and they are both delicious! Larger than most tamales (equivalent to 2-3 of the size I am used to) and quite tasty. I love that they use organic masa and no lard. Will definitely buy more soon! More...

I asked Tamale Addiction to cater my staff lunch yesterday. I asked them because I have seen how philanthropic Tamale Addiction has been in our community.
I have served my teachers many many meals over the past few years, and nothing has come close to the RAVE REVIEWS Tamale Addiction received.
The ability to serve healthy DELICIOUS food that can meet the needs of my vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and meat loving staff was just terrific! The staff at TA was equally delightful!

I had these tamales one year for the San Antonio Tamales Festival and I admit the high price wasn't attractive at first for the Chiapaneco Tamales everyone else was ordering but with all the other foods I love they are upscale in price I bit the bullet. I paid 5 dollars for the tasty Banana Leaf wrapped Tamales everyone had lined up for and the taste was rich and mouth watering to say the least. It was so good I was the center of attention when a made the classic "hmmmmmmmmm...Oh my God" sound and attracted the attention of passer bys. The prunes and fried plantains I think made the difference along with the olives because it was not something I was used to from a standard Tamale.I also took the road trip to there store near Austin So I could leave this review and eat the delicious tamales again. I arrived while they were catering and the store should have been closed but they let me order and even though they did not have any Banana leaf tamales I got something else and ate there (after asking permission...they happily allowed)...and when they had there lunch break they offered up a bowl of what they were having. This treatment earns the rare 5 stars I give any place as the 5 stars is reserved for the best of the best of the best treatment. If you are reading this and not eating their tamales you are messing up because I will read this over again laughing like a crazy person while I leave crumbs everywhere. GO GET SOME! More...
