TAG was fabulous surprise. Being from out of town, we thought we would just stroll Larimer and pop into a restaurant when we got hungry! When we stumbled upon TAG, the stars seemed to align! There was one table free on their patio, and the very friendly host said it was ours! The menu was extremely unique - and dare I say a bit all over the place! We decided we liked the creativity, and proceeded to order about 6 small shareable plates. Our waiter was excellent, and had the kitchen space our food out perfectly. We were able to take our time and enjoy each dish before the next came out, and WOW each dish was exquisite. Their biscuits are incredible: buttery, fluffy & thic, not too flakey or dry. Greens are farm fresh arugula & spinach.They have a bright, clean, 50s dinner style countertop, but this is the type of place neighborhood friends linger over delicious breakfast or weekend brunch

YUUUUUM!!! The food here is amazing!! And honestly the best food I had all night were the fries that came with sliders- they have sugar (or crack. .. jk but addicting) or something on them that makes them mouth watering and delicious!! The gnocchi was also fantastic as well as the pork belly. For my meal, I went with the bass which melted in my mouth!! Everyone I was with also had nothing but amazing things to say about their food.The drinks were also superb! We got a bottle of rose for the table which was light and bubbly, recommendation from our server. I also got an old fashioned, which was one of the best old fashioned's I've ever had!! The service we had was also amazing. Our server was super attentive to all our needs, kept our water glasses full, recommended great appetizers, and substitutes for dinner options, and was all around just super personable and friendly. We were out celebrating my sister, so we were a little more willing to drop some serious cash, but I would say, from the way everything tasted, it was worth every penny. Arrived around 9am on a Saturday morning and the restaurant was full. We were able to grab a couple seats at the bar. I ordered the Rino-which and my husband got the knife and fork smoked trout toast. The gentleman next to us ended up sharing his huckleberry pancake with my husband. Yes, it's a single pancake that covers the entire plate. So be ready to share with someone or only order the pancake. We're able to snag some donut holes to try as well. They have a nice crispy crunch and fluffy inside. The dipping sauces pair well with the cinnamon sugar coating. The Rino-which was excellent. The pork sausage had a good spice level to it and the provolone cheese added a nice creaminess to the sandwich. It was almost like they put some kind of hot sauce on it when mixing the sausage and the mustard aioli. On the smoked trout toast, my husband said the fish was cooked nice and the orange marmalade added a nice sweetness. There was a decent amount of sprouts on the toast so you get those fresh earthy flavors. My husband loved the huckleberry pancake. The place looks like if Bumble (the dating/friendship app) was a restaurant. In the best way possible -- it's highly Instagramable with bright yellows and honeycomb design features. The wait can be super long on weekends (but the counter is a free-for-all). Get the Fro-J, basically a frozen mimosa and split the cinnamon roll -- it's massive. This place has such a wonderful breakfast and so filling with large portions!! The decor was a bright and fun. My hubbie had the rotisserie chicken enchilada and it was very flavorful and filling. I had the pork shoulder hash dish with green chili sauce, I couldn't finish it. We couldn't resist getting just one pancake, but it was huge- the chocolate sea salt!!It was heavenly. It was an excellent dinner , everybody enjoy their meal , the fish taco where outstanding . They have a comfortable patio seating , the service was outstanding ,very friendly and helpful. Took out time to explain each dish in detail. The food was freshly cooked and tasteful.Wendy our server made our dinner more enjoyable , with extra care she took.We went on the Omakase menu, elaborated by the chefs and a kind is surprise to us. Very good breakfast restaurant! I LOVED the bread pudding style french toast. A restaurant called Family Meal in Frederick, MD used to serve a very similar style french toast, but then they changed chefs and it was taken off the menu. Did you steal Family Meal's original chef? This bread pudding french toast is better than Family Meal's. The only negative I found with this restaurant was that the hash browns I ordered needed salt (that I added) and were a little dry. I am in love with this place! Huge menu with vegetarian and meat options! The coffee was delicious and the food was so good. I woke up think about the other half of my burrito i couldn't eat because it was so huge. We also got the cinnamon roll. It was good but kind of dry and a little hard. Our first time and what a pleasant experience! We went on Labor Day morning and understandably it was busy. We were greeted quickly and put on the list. Though it was bustling we were seated within 15 mins as staff turns over tables quickly. The menu is so much more than your standard bacon and eggs. A great variety of breakfast delights. Warm donut holes, imaginative pancake and waffle concoctions, breakfast burritos and egg Benedicts with a twist and more. AJ our server was a positive force. When we said it was our first time he enthusiastically explained the menu- FYI pancakes are huge! I ordered the the wake and bake explained as semi healthy and passed on the el jefe burrito, not that hungry but one of AJs favorites. Wake & Bake Skillet* / 11.75 {please allow 15min}3 eggs / mushrooms / gruyere cheese / roasted veggies / crispy brussels. My request for egg whites only was taken happily. My husband decided on one of their signature hash dishes Pork Shoulder Hash* / 11.25 2 fried eggs / idaho potato / roasted anaheim chile / charred tomatillo salsa / cotija cheese / shredded cabbage / pico. My girlfriend and I recently went to TAG for the second time in a couple months. It's such a great place for top-notch food, drink, service, and ambiance. We've developed a pattern of picking one food item from each menu category and sharing everything, and it's hard to pick one dish that stands out because they've all been pretty good! #Hashtag Restaurant was recommended by a neighbor, so, we gave it a try.#Hashtag is bright and cheery - my favorite color of yellow! The inside has white tables, with the colors of blue, white, and yellow! Great combination! It is bright and cheery inside. If you aren't having a good day, walk into #Hashtag, and your mood will definitely be lifted.When you enter the restaurant, there is some room to wait, and if I remember correctly, there are a few chairs there as well. You don't have to wait just inside the door, which I like.The restaurant is decorated with kitchen items. One wall has polka donts, which are actually solid yellow pieces of kitchen items: plates, cups, saucers, etc., up on the wall in a rectangular shape, very nicely done. Another wall is at least 75 solid yellow muffin tins, which surround a rectangular mirror. This was a neat idea! One area of the ceiling is wood octagonal pieces, very nicely done. The floor is white tile, easy to keep clean. There are 60's style lamps. The bar area will seat approximately 8 people, on bar stools with chrome stands and a cushion top. There is 1 tv in the restaurant, at the bar seating area. All decorations and decor are well thought out, and nicely done. The majority of the seating is in booths, with a center seat that runs along both sides, and each indentation is the start of the booth on the other side. It's hard to explain, so you'll have to see for yourself. Clever idea. There is a small outdoor patio, in which you can enjoy the wonderful Colorado weather.The coffee is good, as is the food. I had the bacon and eggs, my usual. It was cooked just right, and I had no complaints. My husband had the same. The kitchen is open, there at the bar, so you can see what is going on. Service is good. The space between tables/booths, is tight. There is music in the background, but it was so soft, that I honestly can't tell you the type of music that was playin. One drawback, and it has nothing to do with the actual restaurant, was the bathroom. The bathroom is shared by #Hashtag, as well as the restaurant directly next door, on the west side. The bathroom was very, very dark. One/both of the restaurants need to install more light in the bathroom. This could easily be a safety issue. It would be easy to put in some can lighting. Hashtag is pretty delicious. The only thing here I've had and did not like we're the chocolate chip pancakes, which were way too sweet. Everything is delicious, especially their Benedict's. Yum. My wife and I enjoyed the romantic atmosphere of TAG as we celebrated our wedding anniversary with a weeks vacation in Denver. Based on reviewers recommendations we shared the Taco Sushi appetizer and after our first few bites understood why they are held in high esteem ( should have asked for more salsa as one reviewer recommended, it was scrumptious) The second appetizer, the Butter Fish, was also on point and worthy of accolades as well. The breakfast food was delicious. The hippie hash was great. it had sweet potatoes, just the right amount of the spice on the side of the dish, so you can grab as much or a little as you want. The hot cake was delicious. The Denver omelet was pretty good. What I like most about this food is that it wasn't a grease bomb. Will recommend and come back One recommendation: it would be nice to see the servers put their hair up, and covered if you're anywhere close to the food. It would be unfortunate if a hair ends up in someone's food. Also please trim long nails or dangly bracelets that can harbor bacteria. Delicious! We got the classic Bloody Mary, the pork shoulder hash, and the pastrami hash. The pork shoulder hash was super good, until I realized it didn't actually have the pork shoulder lol! So I informed my waiter and he immediately went and got me a bowl with a HUGE helping of the pork shoulder to put on top, which was SO good! Afterwards, the manager came up and talked to us about it and apologized for the mistake, and they even ended up taking half off the price of the hash, which was unnecessary but very appreciated. Yum!! So for starters the spicy Bloody Mary is hands down one of the best I've had in Denver! Not just spicy, but so fully of flavor! Loved it! I also got the POG juice, they most definitely have fresh pressed juice! It was so refreshing! I got the enchiladas and they were DELICIOUS! Came here for our anniversary and did the “Omakase”. The chef brought out each dish and gave a full breakdown of all the ingredients and how it was prepared. The food blew us away. Hippy hash 100% my fave. I would choose this breakfast every time!!! Bed of greens with sweet potatoes and other veggies on top with two eggs however you decide to have them. Finalizing it with this special hot sauce they have, perfect breakfast for me and if I'm feeling like I need some carbs in my life you can never go wrong with the English muffin and house made jams!!!Staff is friendly, a little behind at times, but good food brings big crowds I guess. And don't expect to go there on a weekend day and get served immediately, wait time is usually 20min-over an hour! Why did I choose 4 stars if my experience was so wonderful? We just left the airport and were starving, so we happened upon this cool little place. We were seated right away, but waited 5-10 minutes for a server. My husband flagged down the hostess to ask for a server, and within a minute, the manager was at our table apologizing, offering to comp our drinks & take our order right away. Apparently, we were seated at a table that slipped through the cracks. Over the course of our meal, our server & the manager both checked on us several times, and the manager brought a couple of free plates of bacon with our meal. Cool vibe inside the restaurant. Artsy...kind of a bee hive look. The food was delicious. The pancakes were perfectly crisp on the outside & soft on the inside. My son (who is very easily irritated by noise) said his pancakes were so good, the screaming kid in the corner didn't even bother him. The bacon was not burned but not soggy. My daughter said the donut holes were really good; my husband said the eggs Benedict was good, as well. The juice was fresh squeezed, too. Overall, good food.
