I'll make this easy........breakfast tacos = 4-5 starsregular tacos = 3-starsI'm from the taco mecca of Austin (birth place of the breakfast taco). I've eaten through the entire menu at Taco Heads. There's only 1 taco from the regular menu I'd order again. But, the breakfast tacos are all excellent to outstanding (the chorizo is my fav). And, they're huge. So 2 will satisfy you pretty pretty well. They also have online ordering, which makes it easy for pickup orders. More...
While I did not sample any substantial menu items, I was greeted with a warm welcome. All of the staff smiled and extended superior hospitality. The bartenders, Leslie exceptionally friendly and the overall genuineness of everyone's disposition makes this definite return visit. More...

I think I might have found one of my new favorite taco places in Fort Worth!! Taco Heads is a chill place with amazing tacos and even better elote. I also highly recommend the guacamole! The elote was really good and I'll honestly probably have to get some every time I come back. Can't wait to try more tacos and the queso next time I go! More...

We came here first time today and can't believe how amazing the food was , it's definitely our new favorite place to eat! Our server Rosie was very friendly and had great knowledge of menu . The Spicy beef taco and Chorizo taco was so good and my husband said it was best fish tacos he's had. Thank you guys for a great dinning experience ! More...

Always receive top notch service and fantastic food. We brought our dog and they even gave us a bowl with cold water and a piece of bacon for our pup (they asked if it was ok first)
great fish taco and easy place to visit
Very great place! Great atmosphere and nice to sit outside when the weather is nice. Tacos tasted fresh and were filling.
What a great surprise at the end of the street from our Airbnb! Great "Best in Texas" margaritas with agave and fresh pressed lime juice, amazing tacos, and fresh sweet corn chips and homemade guacamole. Our favorite thing was the ceviche appetizer, which came with fresh guacamole and chips. We tried the fresh fish, garlic shrimp, spicy pork- Nuevo León al Pastor, and roasted chipotle brisket tacos. We'd easily choose them all again. There's a good reason this restaurant stemmed from a popular food truck! More...
The best! I love Taco Heads!
Really good tacos and cute place. It was a nice evening hanging out on the patio on a cool Friday rainy evening.

Olive, our waitress was prompt to serve. Food was tasty.

Great tacos, margaritas & cookie dessert in a cool, hip atmosphere! Sit outside.
Good atmosphere friendly people really good food. Only drawback is the place is really small. But worth the wait.
Great venue and great tacos. Had the shrimp and the carnitas tacos. Both delicious, plenty of good shrimps, good amount of queso fresco (not like some places where they barely dust the taco). The service was attentive and efficient. Definitely recommend this place, and I will be back. More...
My experience was better than the average of the reviews. There so many tacos to eat in the Fort it took a while to get here. Some of the delay influenced by some low reviews. I tried tacos un altered from the menu.Breakfast bacon egg & cheese, grilled garlic shrimp and a taco pastor. All were great. A ton of ingredients on the non breakfast tacos that really worked well together. All three did not cheat on the meat and cheese. A plus in my book.3 people attended to our table....excellent service. Good price, good tacos....yes a little different than the other million taco places. It is table service which is a nice change More...
Always so good! Only receiving four stars this time because the flies were legit out of control. I know I know -- that's what you get for sitting outside, but part of me felt like the swarm needed some attention.Food and drink was excellent as ever, and the staff was definitely attentive. Just don't enjoy the feeling of being carried away before I've had a second cocktail! More...
Great food, great atmosphere & great owner & staff!!!
Absolutely love this place. Great food, great patio and the staff is incredible. This is my go to taco shop.
I want to give 2 thumbs to the service I got this time. Came in on Saturday, July 13th. Sat inside the main area which was a little warm but having the fan on me the entire time made it bearable to not ask for it to be cooler. A girl named Michelle who was training with Andy was our (my mom and I) server. She got our drink order, unsweet tea for mom, Lone Star for me. And we also ordered the chips and queso no pico. Which was super yummy. Also ordered 2 of each using flour tortillas, the chorizo and egg, the roasted chipotle brisket, and the garlic cilantro gulf shrimp. Got no onion or cilantro on the brisket and shrimp tacos. They came out loaded. I had previously ordered takeout and was disappointed with how they were filled but was very happy with how they came out this time. Our service was very good this time. Andy trusted Michelle and they both did a great job. I will come back and definitely ask for them. More...
delicious and adventurous tacos!
Great food and great service. A great place to visit
Taco heads is an absolute vibe. you cannot go wrong with a taco some quac and a margarita on a hot texas summer day. if you're not sold there, they have $5 frozen margaritas all summer (I think?) They also have $10 carafes of mimosas on sunday - talk about a sunday funday. the waiters are funny and the food is dynamite. really can't go wrong here More...
Great food good atmosphere
Delicious tacos! We went for breakfast and my whole family loved the food. The staff was very friendly too! The Wright bacon was very good and crispy, the perfect amount of cheese on the tacos. The queso blanco and chips was the perfect appetizer. More...
Our favorite spot in DFW for breakfast tacos! Cute little outdoor seating. Green sauce is the truth. Queso is solid. Dog friendly patio. What's not to love?
Alena was awesome! The green sauce was absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area!
Great food, Paloma’s are amazing, and the service is unmatched
All the vegetarian tacos are pretty Amazing
We were on our way out of Fort Worth and tacos sounded good (but when don't they?). Taco Heads is a cute little stop that apparently started with a food truck. They offered two vegetarian options, a bean-based taco and a grilled avocado-based taco. Both were tasty and had fresh ingredients. Service was great too. I thought the $4.50 for a taco (the bean was $3.50) was a little on the expensive side, but other than that I didn't have any complaints. They do offer a $10 two-taco plate. More...

The only reason I rated it 4 stars was because of the parking/construction. Other than that; the vibe there is really cool. I went for breakfast tacos. Very tasty. Good price for what you get. Fulfilling size wise. I'll be back when the arena gets built lol. More...
Taco Heads has always been a good choice, especially when I used to go there when they were a food truck behind Poag Mahones. I've been to the brick and mortar a few times. First time I came, I got the migas, and apparently was either the first one of the the first to ever order the migas years ago. lol. Thought that was interesting. They have expanded out their patio and even added the back cantina. They have a lot more taco selections here since my last visit a few years ago. Their price point is a little pricier though that seems to be the trend with tacos these days. Expect your tacos to run about $3-$4 each. They are decent sized and 3 tacos and a side of elote was good for me. The parking lot can be kinda hit or miss depending how busy it is. It's a little cramped for large trucks but you can make it work. My crew sat on the cantina side on our last visit and service was just ok. The bartender was the wait staff and she seemed a little inundated as the lunch crowd started to come in. No biggie, though staff from the main building came and brought our food and also came by to check on us so there's a weird balance there. FOOD: Chips, guac and queso. The chips are bomb. A little thicker than usual but hot and crispy. Guac taste fresh but needs a little seasoning and the queso was tasty but leaves you wanting more. The elote was good but not my favorite place to get elote. It is roasted corn but I feel like the kernels could be softer. Al Pastor taco was spicyyyyyy!! AYE YAI YAI! It was not bad but the spicy kinda overtook alot of the flavors. Carnitas and Brisket were both equally good. I can't remember which one was juicier but can't go wrong with either one. More...
Best tacos I've ever had! My boyfriend and I had breakfast here 2 mornings on a row while visiting Fort Worth + the elotes are Amazing !!!

Great place! Fun atmosphere!
great guac, and loved the brisket taco!!!
Everything is delicious and the green sauce is sooo good.
I've celebrated many occasions at Taco Heads, including my birthday and finishing a semester of school. When looking at the restaurant and first walking in, it seems very small, but there is actually an outdoor place and then further back is the bar with even more seating. It's perfect for these type of large celebrations because it has these long tables that can fit quite a few people. This area is also awesome because in the summer it's open and outside, but it can still be used during the winter where they cover it with a tent and heat it. I loved the frozen margaritas and jalapeño margaritas here and I've had a variety of the different tacos. They used to have a very large menu, but the last time I was here it seemed to be smaller for whatever reason. The queso and quac are also good here, and I love that you can get a taco combo with a side. I've always had great interactions with the staff and the only difficult thing can be parking since the lot is on the smaller side. More...
The food and drinks were fantastic! Can’t remember our servers name but she was awesome too! Definitely will be back!
A little on the pricey side, but they have some good food! I like their brisket tacos and their chips and queso are excellent! The tacos are a little on the small side, but the two taco plate is just the right size for lunch.Parking is very tight in their parking lot, but pretty easy to find on the side street. Their patio is very cozy and I look forward to enjoying it this summer since I just moved nearby. You can order online through the Yelp app for pickup in case you're in a rush. More...

Fantastic food and wonderful service!
Great food, great atmosphere and music. I love it when it's nice enough to sit outside like it was tonight! Enjoy this place very much.
I saw in another review that Torchy's gave more shrimp. Compared to Taco Heads, Torchy's is like a frozen TV dinner. Taco Heads is chef driven, haute cuisine servings of taco comfort food. Open air seating available, it somehow has an ambience of being a riverfront venue despite being conveniently located in the Arts District on Montgomery Street.Try the ceviche appetizer and the jalapeno margarita with a ghost pepper dusting around the rim.You can thank me later. been trying to come here for the longest time and finally had a chance. got to try the margarita, it was not the best margarita I have had. it was a little stronger that i would have liked and was not enjoyable. either way I still drank it!! besides the margarita the tacos, chips and guacamole where good, not the best I have had in other areas but not bad at all neither. we were able to seat outside in the covered heated patio which was very nice and warm. The atmosphere was great, the waitress was very attentive and friendly. overall great place to eat if you are in the area. More...

Love this place Friendly staff and nice and comfy atmosphere.
This place has five stars in my book the food is absolutely wonderful. Whether you get a chicken taco or a beef or fish it cannot be beat. Really great service today and the food was outstanding as always.
Awesome tacos with great flavors. Not your typical taco, and way better! Great night time Fort Worth skyline view and great service!
Headed here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and overall we enjoyed the food. We entered and were taken all the way back to the cantina which is through a tent and in another building. Very small and cozy. Ordered the chicken quesadilla, elote, chicken taco, brisket taco, and a shrimp taco. Chicken taco had a fairly large bone in it. I guess that's a minor detail even though I was rather surprised to bite into that in my taco. Brisket taco was great. Shrimp taco was ok. Quesadilla was really good and filled very full. Elote was delicious! We didn't order any drinks but they all looked great from what I was seeing at neighboring tables. Service was good and the atmosphere was nice. Parking does look limited from what I saw so not sure how busy they get. More...
This place is a good taco satisfying addiction. We were hungry after a little hike and my cousin the native Texan brought us here. They have so many different ways to pull off tacos and the option to choose black beans or elote (done the right way). When we got here we found out they used to be a food truck and have been a standing business for 3 years. If you're hanging out in Texas and looking for some original tacos to cure that craving this is the place to be. More...

great food, great drinks! great service!
Excellence.. all the way around!
Tacos and margaritas were amazing. We got the chips and guacamole and then the brisket tacos, fish tacos, and elote. Food came out quickly and staff was very friendly.
Treat yourself breakfast before starting work. Delicious but would be better with cojeta cheese instead of cheddar. Chorizo is pretty good but needs more garlic and salt. Grilled Pico de gallo has good flavor but could use more cilantro. The A la Texaca taco had Wright bacon but too finely cut and should be much more crispy. Eggs were slightly over cooked. Flour and corn tortillas should have been toasted on the grill longer. The green salsa had a good medium heat and good flavor with just a hint of lime. The staff here was very friendly. Overall better than average breakfast tacos. Too small for the price. Right now too hard to beat Tacos Cantu. More...
Great little hidden gem in Fort Worth. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive. The atmosphere was very laid back. We went for breakfast and the food was very fresh and flavorful. Would definitely go back.
Hands down the best tacos in Fort Worth! I am a huge fan of the breakfast tacos (bacon, egg, cheese. yum!!). If you are feeling a little bit healthier, the salads can be customized and are very fresh. Oh, and the drinks are great.... may I suggest the "Ranch Water"! Pro Tip: Sit in the Cantina (its in the back) for the best atmosphere or if the weather is nice, the patio is dog friendly! More...
I enjoy it more and more every time I go. I try and go a few times when I’m in town.
The taco plate is a great option for those who want to try out the menu. If you're going to sub a side the elote will not disappoint. The service is spot on and the atmosphere is great. They have indoor seating, a patio option, and a covered tent to choose from. Don't forget to pair your tacos with a Mexican Coca-cola or soda options, it's a perfect pairing. More...
downtown fort worth has a slept-on food scene that's on the rise. a friend of mine told me about this spot. wherever the tacos are at, i'm trying.i ordered two tacos: garlic cilantro gulf shrimp & roasted chipotle brisket.gulf shrimp taco came with purple pickled slaw, onion cilantro (which i overlooked the "onion" part somehow), lime zest & queso fresco. i always have a love for shrimp tacos, it's almost automatic that i order one no matter where i go. this taco was light, refreshing & full of flavor. they weren't stingy with the shrimp as well, real nice sized pieces.the chipotle brisket taco came with green cabbage, onion (took that off), cilantro & queso fresco. very smoky, the menu states it's spicy, i couldn't tell (everything i eat is spicy, it's second nature). this is the taco that made me full after i was done. i highly recommend to use the green sauce they have, has more of a kick than the red sauce (this one as a smoky taste & the heat picks up/kicks-in during the aftertaste).i'd have to come back for their breakfast tacos (they serve breakfast tacos all day). there's also a wild caught fish taco that i had my eyes on. they have a good list of margaritas as well. the servers were VERY attentive. take a seat on the patio & enjoy. We found out that today was National Taco Day, so of course we had to go grab some!!So very good, lots of options, everything handmade, the green and red sauce, the tortillas, the flavors were popping!I had to take a star away because...no free chips and salsa...We have so many choices for excellence in Fort Worth, and the food was truly delicious, but sometimes I think people keep trying to put lipstick on the pig, and really all you want is a basic taco. So, it is just a little trendy for me, but seems like the younger generation loves it. The service was friendly, warm and inviting.Look at the menu, and if you feel like having a pricy, delicious spin on a taco, give it a try!! More...
Great service, great food, and some of the very best cocktails anywhere. The cucumber and jalapeño margaritas, in particular, are absolute works of art.
I absolutely love Taco heads... BUT the flies are a big problem inside! I sit inside because I don’t want to deal with bugs and flies! I would rather drive to my other favorite restaurant in western center than have to subject myself and my food to the fly problem. Sorry taco heads but the flies are a big problem! More...

We visited Fort Worth and found this place on several "best of" lists as well as a list of "clean eating" places. So glad we went. Super chill and casual but great cocktails and probably the best tacos, beans, and elote I've ever had in recent memory. Our server A.J. gave us great menu recommendations, was so welcoming and attentive, and just really made the experience fantastic. The view on the patio at night was a bonus. I wish we had an opportunity to eat there before returning from our vacation! More...

Awesome Service and food
So happy to have found this delicious jewel! Small but clean and comfortable restaurant with a nice size patio area as well. Everything is made fresh, made in house and wonderful including the tortillas and green and red salsas. Since it was our first time here, we ordered a large selection. Started off with guacamole and fresh chips, cerviche and roasted corn. ALL were excellent! Our family of 4 ordered a variety of tacos- fresh gulf shrimp, wild caught red fish, carnitas, chicken and vegetarian roasted avocado with roasted corn. Our server was awesome, taking the time to explain the dishes and salsas. We honestly loved everything we had here and can't wait for our next trip back! More...

I love their breakfast & carnitas tacos!
We came in on a Sunday and although it didn't seem very busy, service was pretty slow. That being said, our server was over the top friendly and more than made up for the speed. We had chips and queso, shrimp quesadillas, and a couple different tacos. They were all REALLY good. I would order any of them again. We also ordered a house margarita and a cucumber margarita. They were both delicious and refreshing, but for the price, they were pretty small. I'll come back when I'm in the area, but I won't go out of my way. More...
Best Guac everrrr!!! Can’t believe the intensity of this deliciousness! mmmm mmm mucho bueno! Ohh and the margarita was off the chain!
Best margaritas around! They have great LTO tacos and all of their tortillas taste fresh and homemade.
Enjoyed every bit of this experience, from the margaritas to the tacos. Was a bit worried about the outside patio experience in July, but misters and fans made it pleasant.
Excellent food and very friendly staff!
I've heard many good things about this place and decided to finally stop in. The service is great, everyone smiled and made us comfortable. The margaritas are 2nd to none, for just "a margarita" it was awesome. Maybe next time I will try a specialty 'Rita. The seasoned chips are made in house and are great as was the guacamole. We ordered the shrimp tacos and the taste of the month tempered fish tacos... They were delicious. And the elote was.. OMG.. the best!! My wife was highly impressed and said 'we are definitely coming back soon" so.... There you go. The atmosphere was nice, indoor or outdoor with a view of downtown. Once construction is finished the entrance and parking will be alot better. You definitely need to try this place... You won't be disappointed!! More...

Tasty tacos. We love the queso and guacamole.
I'm writing this review so excitedly because I simply couldn't wait to talk my entire experience here up. My mother and I rarely have time to eat together, and today we decided on Taco Heads because she had been curious and heard good things. We found parking quickly at 6:15 on a Friday night, and when we walked in were greeted by 2 sweet young ladies who were smiling and happy to seat us. Luckily the small dining area was empty, aside from one table, and we were shown our seats. Soon came our server, A N D Y the rockstar, who was so delighted to learn it was our first time. He was visibly and genuinely excited to make our first experience memorable and he absolutely did. He brought us a bottle of water to refill the small glasses they have, as if he knew I'm perpetually thirsty. He was patient as my mom had trouble deciding between chips and queso or guacamole or maybe elotes. We decided on queso and elotes, along with some Peach frozen margaritas that Andy suggested since they are $5 throughout summer. The drink was incredible, without tasting too sweet or strong. The presentation of every dish is simple yet so aesthetically pleasing, served on rectangular, lipped dishes that safely contain any dripped queso or dropped taco fillings. The queso is thick and creamy and tastes of real cheese because, as Andy informed us, it is since Taco Heads is a scratch kitchen. The chips are thick-cut which my mother and I typically don't like, but they crunch easily enough to still be delightful and the seasoning on top is a bonus. With our appetizer, Andy brought us both the green and red sauces and to the best of his ability (by that I mean keeping individual spice tolerance in mind) gave us descriptions on the taste and heat level of each. His in depth information about the sauces gave me the courage to try them both, despite having a low spice tolerance, and I loved them! When our food arrived it was just as nicely presented, and so so good. I got the 2 taco plate, 1 chicken and 1 carnitas and both of the meats were so juicy and tender, and just as Andy promised, the green sauce perfectly enhanced the tacos without completely overpowering the flavors with spice. My mother and I enjoyed our meals and both drinks we had (the peach margarita as well as the peach strawberry sangria we had after) SO much, and Andy's exceptional service made the experience even better. He was so genuine and open, and we enjoyed conversation with him as we wrapped our meal up. We both were not surprised to learn he'd spent his life teaching elementary school which probably explains why he's such a warm person who's presence and service was such a treat on top of an already fantastic meal.Oh and bonus, the interior is SO cute y'all! Absolutely loved everything there fresh affordable and the best
Deliciously fresh toppings like strands of grated cheddar on my breakfast egg tacos. Loved the mild green salsa and cucumber margarita!
My husband and I love Mexican food and wanted to select food for our wedding reception that was different from the common TX fajita buffet dinner. The taco bar option from Taco Heads was the perfect solution to our dilemma!!! Their food is new, fresh, and so delicious! The amount of food for each person along with sides was perfect, while the pricing is very economical for small wedding budgets. The service that accompanies their taco bar option is amazing as well! Even though our reception venue was Five Oaks Farm all the way in Cleburne, TX, Taco Heads had no problem servicing the event! We did not have to worry at all about set up, maintaining the buffet, or clean up, as 2 servers were present for the whole dinner to create each taco for you (all you do is tell them what you want—similar to Chipotle). Everyone was beyond satisfied with the food!! More...
The tacos are good. The guacamole is to die for. The atmosphere is great. The service is phenomenal. It can get busy but that’s because it’s awesome and worth the wait. We will definitely be coming back.
Great food and good service. The chips and queso are fantastic along with everything else.
Great food, excellent service. Chips and queso were sublime, tacos were amazing. Can't wait to go again! Only disappointment was that no one had tacos on their heads, or offered to put one on mine
Outside of pizza, I consider myself somewhat of a taco expert. This place rivals Velvet Taco, in my opinion. The venue is great; there's a decent sized porch and two smaller areas for inside seating, with a small bar. The tacos are amazing; would recommend their breakfast tacos (served all day) and the brisket! Whatever the mystery green sauce is in the unmarked clear bottle; it's fantastic, I added it to everything. More...
Jay was attentive, quirky and helpful. We loved him. I ordered a cucumber margarita with no agave and he judged me a little but was happy to accommodate and even brought a little agave on the side and upon adding it I understood why he was judging me. It really worked even though I'm super sensitive to sweeteners. We went during happy hour and ordered both queso and guacamole with chips for $5 a piece. The guac is fantastic! The queso is too thick and a little spicy. Chips are addicting. Traditional tacos are always good. This time I was intrigued by their flounder taco but decided to make it a salad to balance out the chips and cocktail. The flounder was over cooked but I could tell it once had a good chance with great seasonings. The salad itself was awesome, I loved all the little extras. I don't know if it's worth $10 but maybe the fish tainted it a bit for me. Minimal yet charming decor. Small inside and small, separate bar but decent patio between with great wind/sun distribution. Great spot! The atmosphere is great, staff is friendly and lots of flavor in the chicken taco salad I ordered.
Cool place to unwind after work. The food is always fresh and delicious.
Still the best place in DFW for breakfast tacos. Make sure to put on some sauce and help yourself to a cup of coffee. I brought a box of them to my coworkers, and they were all anyone talked to me about when I'd run into them in the hallway. For lunch or dinner, my new go to is the shrimp quesadilla. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but it really hits the spot for me. More...

Great views and even better tacos! Although we are outside on the deck, their interior decor was on point. Our waiter was super friendly and very accommodating for my vegan requests. Came here for breakfast and we found it! They serve breakfast tacos all day. I ordered the papa and egg one and the chorizo and egg. From the moment we walked in the place looks clean and we were politely greeted. The customer service we received from our waitress was also great!! We had chips and Queso and tried their mimosa. It was perfect. The queso is not as strong as you'd expect or used to but it was still great. They have a green salsa that's not spicy at all and a red one with a mild taste. The breakfast tacos were absolutely delicious. The chorizo was definitely my favorite. Staff is very friendly and professional - very neighborhood restaurant feel - familiar and friendly. Only reason why I didn't give 5 stars was because the hours of operation where not updated (I had my hopes of trying the regular tacos- but Sunday the restaurant closed early) More...

Great tacos, delicious guac, great service and a fun vibe.
Great place!!! All the cool kids were there, but they let me in anyway. Our server - the girl in the cantina with the really short hair - was the best. Will definitely be back. Easy to walk to from the museums (like we did), but looks like they had plenty of parking on the back (west) side. More...

Delicious! The environment is awesome, food is awesome & drinks were spot on. Can we talk about that paint job by Markum & Teague? Looks great!
Good posole! Carnitas on point. Queso did the trick!
Had the queso. Loved the chips. Homemade and delicious. Also had the shrimp taco on corn tortilla and the chicken taco on corn. Food was hot, flavorful. Overall no complaints! More...
The place is what it claims to be... a gourmet taco shop. The menu is great, the atmosphere casual and trendy. The clientele also casual and trendy. The food is excellent! The service was a little lacking when I was there. There were huge gaps where nobody checked on my wife and me. I had to finally go hunt down someone to get our check... only damper on a terrific experience, otherwise. More...
Taco heads is full of all the vibes! Good drinks, good people, good vegan tacos!
Hands down the best queso ever! I love this place and it's amazing location. They have one of the best views of Fort Worth. The atmosphere of this restaurant is super fun too. If you're really Instagram savvy this is the perfect place to take some fun pictures next to their wall of pastel painted tacos. If I were to recommend something I would say get the chorizo and egg breakfast tacos (served all day!!) and get some chips and queso to share. More...

Taco heads never fails. I’ve never sat down in the restaurant until yesterday typically order off the truck at events. Highly recommended

Our “go to” breakfast date for tacos Great tacos, coffee & service!
Truly gourmet tacos. Everything here tastes homemade and extremely fresh. The guac, sweet corn chips and elotes stand out. The line made and margarita are top notch and you can tell they're made with fresh lime. The bourbon black bean taco with their tomatillo sauce is great. The service here is also great, the staff is very attentive and strives to please More...
The cutest taco shop ever! I loved their decor, their customer service was top notch, and the food was great! I had a margarita, chips & quest, and the pork taco. My husband had shrimp, fish, and a breakfast taco and loved them all! A must try in Fort Worth! More...

Best Taco joint in Fort Worth. I love to recommend this place to out of town visitors to give them a taste of real Tex Mex. The menu is simple, but wonderful with great cocktails. The staff/service here is always great with a fun vibe. More...
Came here twice during my visit to Fort Worth as I was staying right down the street. Tried four different tacos and all were amazing: the carnitas, the brisket, the spicy pork, and the roasted corn and avocado. Also their May special were these cinnamon triangle tortilla things fried to perfection and dusted with sugar and cinnamon and served with house made orange zested butter. Phenomenal. Really good price and nice folks. Decent outside dinning area with a good beer selection. Easy and casual and yummy! More...
I've been going to taco heads for a few years, since it was a little truck behind a bar near velvet taco. I love the simple flavors of their tacos.FOOD: The menu changed a bit after they got the new location. Really anything with corn on it is a win. The shrimp and brisket tacos are my favorite. They have great vegetarian options as well. ATMOSPHERE: Very, very tiny inside. Parking is limited as well but the inside is very cute and pinterest-y. The wait can be a while if it is very crowded so I usually try to avoid coming around 12pm.PRICE: Honestly overpriced, especially for the size of the tacos. About $4 for one, but if you haven't tried it don't let the price deter you, definitely worth a try! More...
The view was better before construction began across the street, I'm sure. But service- excellent, queso-very tasty and the breakfast tacos are to die for. Awesome place for a Tex/Mex breakfast. More...
Good tunes , good food,. Went on dia de Los muertos. More events like that.
Awesome place to eat, great environment and customer service!! Sara is really cool and her dance moves are almost as good as mines.
First time. Great tacos. Had chicken and spicy beef with pineapple. Will definitely come here again. Margaritas are also very good. Love the patio.
This is the Best place in funky town to get your grub on!!!!

Brisket taco & chocolate cookies! I'm so in love!
Taco Heads is probably one of my favorite places to go with my friends. The atmosphere of the cantina or the patio is always chill and relaxed. Never had an issue with service, they're usually very accommodating. The tacos are street Mexican tacos with great flavors. The margaritas and sangria are one of my favorites things to order also. They have specials during the week on their tacos also. Loyal costumer ever since they had the food truck! Def a solid choice if you are thinking about trying them. More...
Great place for Great food and Nice People!! My wife and I love going there any time we're in Fort Worth!
Wow, so good! Gourmet tacos at affordable prices, I tried four different ones and they all rocked. I'm willing to bet all the other ones rock too. Service was quick and friendly too
Love their vegetarian tacos. They also have great hand-crafted margaritas and the service is excellent.Love this place!
The breakfast tacos where awesome and service was on point!
The food is fresh and fabulously tasty! Staff provided friendly service, and love the live music!
Pros: Tacos are great, ambiance is awesome, service is quick. The live music days are really fun too. It's a simple menu with great options. Cons: Tacos are really over priced compared to other places in the area and they are not huge. Drinks pricey too - wish they did longer HH's or more days with $5 margs! More...
Great margaritas, great patio, and the garlic shrimp taco is .
I really love the specialty Tacos they have here. They also have some really bomb queso! This is normally a brunch/breakfast spot for me but I have come for supper also. They have veggie options and I'm sure they would make you any kind of custom taco if you had other diet preferences. They have really good mixed drinks and beers-a-plenty. Last time I was here they had someone mixing up fresh squeezed juices of all sorts! I love that this is locally owned (and if I'm not mistaken woman owned too, solidarity sister!) and they have a neat little view of downtown from the patio. I'm low key sad that they painted over the taco wall tho ;( More...
The only place for tacos... carnitas, pastor, brisket: you can't go wrong. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and the tacos are hands down the best in Fort Worth. Don't forget to try the green sauce, it's unreal. More...

Excellent tacos with the freshest ingredients. Service was really good as well.
During yarn crawl, we happened upon Taco Heads. Excellent food, decent service! Guacamole is out of this world wonderful. Highly recommended.
The brisket was A1! Chicken was bangin the pastor was lacking a lil bit. Really nice patio deft coming again.
Taco Heads, originally one if the city's food truck pioneers, has long been a Fort Worth favorite. Personally I didn't really fall in love until I visited their restaurant on Montgomery earlier this year. I wish I hadn't waited so long as this is a true gem of local flavor. Increasingly Dallas owned groups and chains are invading Cowtown, and so it is nice to support locally owned great spots. Start with their freshly sliced pineapple and an order of thick chips and tasty fresh guacamole. Then if you like spicer food you've got a dozen choices. If your palate runs gringo I suggest the mamas pollo or a breakfast taco. Staff here are efficient and friendly. Parking is very easy behind the shop The food is what will bring you back. More...
My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our tacos! Great drinks and ambiance as well (despite all the construction across the street).

A friend and I googled breakfast tacos looking for a good local place to eat. Found this one, and was not disappointed. Probably one of the best breakfast tacos I've had. I got the Chorizo Mexicano & Egg and it was sooo good! Cute place and loved the location next to the Will Rogers. The location made it so easy to leave the horse show to get great food, and not drive forever away. More...
Best brisket taco I've had so far. The Brisket had a spice rub on it, not just salt n pepper. I could taste some cumin and chili powder for some welcomed heat. Brisket in general is not a great cut of meat, it's gamey flavored pot roast so the spice rub is MUCH appreciated. I think I tasted a little balsamic as well, very tangy. I used the side of green sauce that came with it. Tasted like an avocado and tomatillo sauce. Really tasty and nice acidity to cut through the fatty juice of the brisket. Nice white corn tortilla, chopped onions and cilantro so overall best brisket taco I've had. Can't wait to try the other tacos on the menu. I was in and out with my to go order fairly quickly and the tacos were hot. More...
Wonderful! I loved the black bean tacos they had. Also, great margaritas! Will return for sure :)
We tried Taco Heads for late lunch on a Tuesday. The creamy elote was delicious. I had the charred avocado taco and the carnitas taco; they weren't disappointing, but they weren't great, either. The pork was tender but pretty bland. I wish I had ordered the brisket tacos like my dad I tried a taste when he was done and the meat was incredible. The tacos were generously stuffed, so I was very full after two. I felt the prices were fair for the quality and amount of food. There's a great beer list as well as some wines and cocktails. Our server initially took about five minutes to make it to our table after we were seated, but after that he was appropriately attentive and the food came out quickly. Thanks to the cover and mister fans on the patio, we weren't too hot despite the 95 degree day. More...
Love love love this place!! Friendly staff! Great food. Dog friendly!! I would recommend this place to everyone! Best Elote!

I want to start off by saying the location of Taco Heads is really awesome! The view of downtown Ft. Worth is breathtaking! Taco Heads sometimes gets a bad rap from the prices of their tacos and some say lack of flavor. I for one do not agree and understand their prices. This is a locally sourced scratch kitchen. This is real food with real ingredients and some people don't get that. The ingredients are fresh and basic, and it works! The elote will keep you up at night, its charred to perfection off the cob with all the goodies in the bowl with a lime on the side.Their beer selection is mostly micro brewery Texas beer and specialty cocktails and Margaritas! The cocktails are always full of liquor, never under poured. You get what you pay for! The patio experience is really nice and dog friendly! A lot of nights they have live music or parties with lots of drink specials! The whole place has a very hipster vibe with cool taco drawings and cactus all around. I really like how the bar is separated from the indoor seating. You have to walk through the courtyard/patio to get to the bar. The staff is very friendly and fun to talk with. This is a really awesome establishment and it would make a great night for you and your family! More...
We went to Taco Heads on Friday evening, on Saturday morning and on Saturday afternoon. The food and cocktails are superb. The staff is courteous and helpful. The view of downtown across the museum district is lovely. All of the hand crafted cocktails are just that. Real margaritas! Selection of craft beer is excellent. You can get your tacos as a salad for an extra charge that is well worth it. Homemade salsas, great guacamole and queso. Quality ingredients. I highly recommend this place!! More...

Gotta let you know that this is now my favorite taco place in the DF DuB! The are a bit pricey which could be better if they were a bit bigger tacos. Quesadillas are really good as well. Great place to chill with friends & family Pet friendly - good tunes
Let me preface this by saying: I want taco heads to be excellent, I really do. And for most, Tacoheads will check the boxes of what they look for in taco shops: bright colors (on the tacos and the walls), a good environment, and a friendly staff. However, I still think Taco Heads has a long way to go at mastering breakfast tacos. TH beakfast tacos are small, crazy expensive, and the taste is off. They also charge you for cheese regardless of whether you want cheese or not. I could go to about any taco shop in San Antonio or Austin, pay half of what I do at Taco Heads, and get a taco that tastes 5X better. I'd like to see Taco Heads follow the SA and Austin model and invest in breakfast tacos, sweet tea, create a loyal following and rake in the cash till the cows come home. Here's my advice: go down to Bill Miller's or Thousand Oaks Cafe in San Antonio, take what they do and bring it back to Fort Worth. More...

Love this place, the food is top notch! There are way too many fruit flies in the bar section though. Looks like they're not capping all alcohol bottles or something, but we had to swat flies away every couple of seconds while sitting in there tonight.

I wish every day was Taco Day. Best damn fine tacos, period.
Their Margarita's are very good. Food was just temp. and filling. Lensy, was an outstanding server/ bartender. I will definitely go back.
The bowls are my fav! Great service, fun place. Family friendly or great for drinks too! Best of both world. Great staff and awesome owner!
I would say the food is good, pretty authentic street tacos, not tex-mex. Everything is house made so fresh and yummy But what the food lacked for me, the environment made up for. We sat outside and it was a beautiful day it felt like we were oceanside with the umbrellas and being elevated off the street. Fun place Simplistic perfect for a leisurely hangout with your friends or family. More...

We really had a great experience. Our service was wonderful. We went on a Sunday at 3. The tacos were so good, and we loved the elote.
We stopped in last Saturday night to get some dinner before going to a ShakespearianPlay down the street and we were totally surprised by everything about the place. Came here to get tacos, because Jon and I are pretty much addicted to Tacos!Pricier than we are used to for street style. We are used to paying between $1.10 and $1.60 each. At Taco Heads, we are talking about between $3.25 and $4.25 each, depending on which tacos you order, but let me tell you, THE PRICE IS WORTH IT! Cute little storefront. Indoor seating is cramped, but cozy. Plenty of outdoor seating with a big tent you can dine in to keep you out of the elements. Service was decent, friendly and polite staff, no crazy wait times, or at least not when we went.We got the Garlic Gulf Shrimp, Seriously Legit Carnitas and Nuevo León Al Pastor tacos. The shrimp taco is FIRE! Big, beautifully grilled, whole shrimps, really zesty garlic flavor and topped with this gorgeous purple pickled slaw that is ADDICTING! I could take that slaw home and throw it on my burgers or in a falafel wrap, so delicious!Nuevo León Al Pastor was incredible, came with grilled pineapple, purple cabbage and adobo. Pineapple had a little char on it that really kicked up that smoky sweet flavor, so much YES!As far as the carnitas, all I can say is they truly were "seriously legit". Oh and did I mention that they aren't shy with the cilantro, onion and cotija cheese?! So much YES again!Squeeze bottles of their salsas, red and verde, are provided to accompany your tacos. Now don't get me wrong, they are both delicious and nicely balanced salsas, but the tacos are so amazing and tasty on their own, you don't even really need them! Bold statement, I know. Wanna know what else is bold? The flavor in these Tacos! We will be back soon soon soon! More...
We loves the food and service, the jalapeno infused tea my daughter loved. She normally doesn't eat much, but she ordered three of the brisket tacos !!!! We had great time

Delicioso! I wanna go there again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The tacos were tastyI love the casual and laid back feelThe patio area was great with all the lights The view of the city! Margarita wasn't bad
This was a remarkable find. I was looking through Yelp for a taco place in Fort Worth and came across Taco Heads.Parking is behind the two buildings, one a small dining area with tables and countertops providing a great view of downtown Fort Worth. There's plenty of outside seating with a covered patio area between the dining area and cantina. The Cantina is another small building with tables, booth, and a five-stool bar. The cantina has a couple of TVs, usually showing sports when available. The atmosphere is fun and inviting with a good variety of music playing in the background. The wait staff is friendly and energetic. I've made several trips to Taco Heads, so far, all my visits have been after lunch and before the evening crowd. The food here is excellent. Consequently, there's a full crowd by 6 pm on the evenings I've been here. The food items I've tried, so far, have had great flavors. Light & fresh seems to be the theme. NUEVO LEON AL PASTOR (sliced fresh and grilled pineapple, onion, cilantro, red cabbage, adobo and queso fresco)The pork is tender and savory. The grilled pineapple is the prefer counter to the spicy heat. It's not too spicy but enough to be tangy. The Adobe adds another layer of flavor that finishes with the cooling of the crispy pickled cabbage. GARLIC CILANTRO GULF SHRIMP(house made purple pickled slaw, onion, cilantro, lime zest and queso fresco)The gulf shrimp are large, tender, and juicy. The flavor combination works extremely well. The lime zest brightens the taste of the shrimp with a little pop. The pickled slaw gives the taco some crunchy texture.WILD CAUGHT FISH (flounder is the in-season fish)Much like the Gulf Shrimp, the flounder has the roughly same toppings. Once again, working well with the flounder to create multiple layers of huge flavor.I keep telling myself to try the Carnitas and Brisket tacos, so maybe, just maybe on my next visit. And don't forget to try some of the awesome cocktails from the cantina. I can't come here without having the "Winter Mule," ask for it, you'll love it. More...
Best tacos in Fort Worth! Amazing atmosphere and friendly staff! Going to have to make Taco Heads a weekly thing.
We had an early Valentines dinner here yesterday before the rush hit. Taco heads is always fantastic! The margaritas are well done. We usually order the regular ones. I have not tried the jalapeno margarita yet. Dont let the size fool you! Even though they come in a smaller glass these margaritas pack a punch! The queso is always great as well. And I have yet to try a taco I dont like from there. My favorites are the gulf shrimp taco and the chipotle brisket taco! And the purple pickled slaw is out of this world! The staff is always very attentive no matter how busy they are. The only downside to Taco Heads is the parking. They have a very small parking area and when its busy there is no where to park! You used to be able to park on the street on either side of them but now the city has come in and put up no parking signs along both streets! Be prepared for a wait on the weekends at times. But this place is well worth any wait!! More...
The tacos were exactly what you expect from a great taco...I will gladly recommend this spot to any and all...

Chipotle brisket tacos are absolutely phenomenal, and their green salsa and some of the best I've ever had.

These tacos are absolutely mouthwatering! There is so much flavor. I've been craving them since I last ate them. I could probably eat them every single day and not get tired of it. And the hot sauce! The vibe and feel was amazing and the tacos were absolutely amazing. I recomend a million times.
Love the selection of their food here! From their appetizers to drinks, tacos, and desserts, this place has such good variety. I've been twice for lunch and then breakfast. For breakfast/brunch, their chorizo breakfast taco is so good! They put some sauce in it that gives it a good kick! Add potatoes to the taco to make it more filling! For lunch, I've tried their al pastor and the shrimp tacos! Very flavorful as well! Their servings are smaller, so one may need a few tacos to fill one's appetite. Their Mexican chocolate cookies reminded me of chocolate crinkle cookies minus the powdered sugar but with cinnamon sugar and chili. It's not too sweet! More...

I can honestly say the Sonora flounder taco is the best I have ever had!! You have to go there for the experience. You will not regret it!!
I just came back from eating here. I went here with two of my friends. The food is was really good! They did have vegetarian options which was nice and sometimes hard to find in Fort Worth. I had the black bean veggie taco and it tasted great! They also have really good sauces. The green sauce was my favorite. The red sauce was really good too, I am a fan of spicy so I was okay with it but most people may not be able to handle the spice. I also liked that they are pet friendly so we could bring my friends dog with us. I would definitely come here again! More...

Top 3 taco joints I've ever been to. The food was awesome and the staff was great. I will DEFINITELY be back soon.
This place is near my sisters and she had always wanted to try it. I am not usually a fan of what I term "hipster tacos" where you order a fancy taco and it's anything but a taco....but this place really won me over. I ordered 4 different styles to give them all a try. Everything I had was terrific! I was pleasantly surprised. The food was served hot, it was well presented. It looked like someone had taken great care to make me something special, and the looks didn't betray me. Whoever put these together understands the ingredients and how they compliment each other. Truly, a roller coaster for your taste buds. The place is a bit pricey, but worth the money for what you are getting, which is tacos on a higher level done very well. Completely opposite of Fuzzy's, which serves tacos of this style that don't look or taste good, but still cost a lot. For a great alternative taco experience, I highly recommend Taco Heads. More...
Tried Taco Heads today for the first time. The food was pretty good. My only complaint is that my husband and I, got our food to-go, only to get home and find out my tacos were made on flour tortillas vs corn .... Love, love, love this place! I use to go to the truck before they got a permanent place. Marination of the meat is the real deal and the trick to their success to tasteful tacos.
Thank goodness it was a nice day outside, we sat outside and had some very good tacos! Service was great! We ordered the brisket, carnitas, shrimp, chicken and avo and corn tacos ALL were delicious. Limited parking but we found a spot on the street. I had been wanting to try this place for long time and it was definitely worth the wait! More...
Good atmosphere, great food (carnitas &a shrimp tacos are my favorite as well as the street corn). Prices are a little high but match the quality of the food. Really poorly located but the outdoor street atmosphere is oddly fun and enjoyable. Top recommendation for a fun, Fort Worth, TexMex taco joint. More...
Had a great Sunday dinner while admiring the view of the Fort Worth skyline!
The best service and most excellent tacos! Cool and casual patio. I walk the dog as an excuse to drop by for a taco and a beer
I've been eating these yummy tacos since they opened their food truck, and the food is still as good as ever!! The brisket tacos and guacamole are fantastic and their green sauce is the only reason you need to come here.... my entire family buys the green sauce by the jars and eat it daily with breakfast and we use it for every holiday!! Just freeze what you don't use, hope everyone makes it here at least once!! More...
Friendly folks, nice atmosphere, great menu, and great food; what more could you want?
Our neighborhood favorite. Fantastic food and the best margaritas in town. Great view of downtown. Wonderful service. All kinds of cool events and live music usually a couple of times a week.
