I would give it a 5 but there was only 1 sweet item on the menu which was disappointing. The French toast was very good. I did have the brisket has which was amazing!! The name should be Savory Cafe. More...

The only complaint I had was the confusion over what time they opened the website said 7. The employees said 7:30. Other than that the service was some of the best I've had in Wilmington. The food... incredibly delicious, generous portions at affordable prices. It was a great mother's day breakfast! More...

Food is very good. Ambience is nice and laid back and not too loud. Service is consistent the several times we have been here (good), and staff are very friendly. Pricing is about what you'd expect. The Wonka burger and the French toast are both amazing. More...

I really enjoy this restaurant. The food is somewhat classic but unique with a twist of their own. The French toast is definitely worth a try, but so is everything else I've had there. I've brought a few friends there and everyone has been pleased with the food. The kitchen is somewhat open so you can see the staff busy preparing food. They bake many different sweets and breads you can purchase to take home, as well. The waitstaff is always friendly and attentive, even when they're busy. Outside seating is available and pet friendly. I had brought my boyfriend's dog and he had a bowel of water and the shade of an umbrella available to him. They also have a brunch menu available until 3pm (as of the last time I went), and serve beer, cocktails, and various mimosas. The only downside is the the parking is limited but I'm not taking away any stars since that isn't related to the quality of their food or service. The parking pain is worth it. More...

Wow what a gem this place is. It was on a Sunday afternoon we visited. We live downtown Wilmington but the drive and experience was all worth it. My wife and I just got out of our weekly Sunday worship and decided to head over to this place since we didn't have breakfast in the morning. I gotta say I'm glad I did this place gets really packed for a really good reason. The atmosphere is really comfortable and feels like home. The food was awesome too I had the sourdough french toast and my wife had the steak and eggs. If you tired of the mainstream breakfast places and need a taste of home cooked food. You need to visit this place. More...

I love this place! Excellent food. Parking could be better considering how popular Sweet and Savory is. They even had live music. .it was a saxophone player and he was great! This was a Thursday night. You must give it a try if you haven't yet. Their staff goes out of their way to make sure your needs are met. Yummy desserts too! More...

I love this place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!! Everything is made from scratch. I've been here countless times and never had a meal I didn't love. Seems like their wine list is the longest in all of Wilmington. Great draft selection as well with plenty of local taps. The owners seem down to earth and truly care about the quality of everything they produce. Breakfast french toast is to die for. The meatloaf sandwich is AMAZING (I normally don't even like meatloaf) And the Key lime tarts are a must! Great indoor and outdoor seating. Beautiful patio. Do not visit Wilmington without visiting this gem! More...

Wow, stopped in for their baked goods and found a great selection of pies, pastries, muffins and desserts. All the selections looked good. Their crumb cake was fantastic as well as their oatmeal raisin cookie.

They are not an exclusive bakery and appear to be more a restaurant with full service, so don't let the name for you.

Service was excellent. Friendly, courteous and engaging.

Easily some of the Best food ever, very unique menu, and great service. The staff knows a lot about the food they offer. The lunch menu prices are super! Great beer and wine menu. The vibe is very easy going and the the aesthetics of the restaurant are quite pleasing. It's close to the beach too! Parking can be tricky but it's well worth it. More...

Breakfast is amazing! Lunch has AMAZING sandwiches on freshly made bread in their bakery and dinner is fine dining! Such a great place to go for family outings, birthday dinners, or date nights.

Things to know:
- They do have a small parking lot so expect to park on the street.
- They do not take reservations but they do “call ahead” seating, meaning that if you call an hour or so in advance they will go ahead and put your name on the wait list.
- Food can be pricey, but they have specials every night of the week and they are normally very good deals with large portions.

Sweet n Savory is a fantastic place to go and enjoy a fabulous meal followed by an even more amazing dessert. Too full for dessert? That's okay! I have been eating at Sweet n Savory for many many years. I always enjoy their food and the portions are very generous. I had the salmon Benedict and it was out of this world. It definitely could have fed 2 people. Way too much food for one person. I was absolutely delighted with my choice. I also bought a peanut butter brownie and it was outstanding. It wasn't too sweet or too rich. It had just the right consistency and flavor. More...

10/10 experience from the moment I walked in the door. The owner greeted us when we walked in, sat us down, and talked to us for 5 minutes about the menu and what was new and recommended so much. It was honestly the most personable experience I've ever had in a restaurant. In addition, the food was absolutely freakin delicious. I got a ribeye with their loaded mash potatoes and it was succulent. My girlfriend got their pineapple pulled pork grilled cheese that was just as amazing. All for a great price and I thought the bill was going to be more. I enjoyed everything here and can't wait to go again. To compare, I went to Mellow mushroom and got some awful food with my girlfriend and an appetizer and the bill was $35. At sweet n savory, my bill was only $45. Only ten dollars more for such a better overall experience. More...

Always has been a good place for homemade soup and bread. Now dinner is very good as well. Brisket was tender and moist. Stuffed avocado small plate and Chesapeake chicken were also standouts. Finally, baked goods count key lime tart and carrot cake as exemplary. More...
