Really nice environment, free parking, friendly, professional, laid back, courteous. Quick response and set up a free session same day, Very understanding about LA traffic. I been with them for a year now. 71lbs down and 14 inches off my waist line. They pay attention and listen then create a program for you not everyone else. They also stress diet. They don't quit when you have a set back or injury. They support you and follow up or adjust the program to work around your injury. They are knowledgeable and have the engery to keep you going. They don't quit on you. If you show up not ready to go they will take care of the rest. Best belive you will get that work.. Lol More...

My wife and I started working out together a few months back after being inactive for several years. The best thing we did for ourselves was to invest in our health. Although we still have a ways to go, we are committed to the journey and to Sweat Equity Fitness. They have helped us get back on track and we actually like going to work out. I have been training with Glenn since I moved to Midtown 7 years ago, and kept with him due to his level of devotion, accountability, and personalized workouts. The gym is perfect location for anyone working Downtown or Intown. Lavar and Brian are fantastic trainers as well, each with their own work-out style. The guys at Sweat Equity have helped me get into a consistent, healthy exercise routine—and I couldn't be happier with their training! The workouts are varied and challenging, generally focused on high intensity interval training with a few extras (like boxing) thrown in for good measure. SEF is exactly what I needed. This is a small, yet well-outfitted private studio that specializes in high impact interval training (HIIT). The trainers are creative and personable and sessions are reasonably priced without having to sign away your firstborn with a contract. When 2017 began, I was less than thrilled with my weight (which had the unfortunate distinction of being my heaviest ever). Not only was I unsure where to begin, I also wasn't that motivated. Still, I managed to lose a few pounds on my own and then, at the suggestion of a friend, I signed up for training sessions with Sweat Equity. These guys are no joke ... and I mean that in a good way. They are passionate about fitness: from your warm up to those final few seconds, you will be encouraged to challenge yourself while getting a great workout. My sister (who is a long-time client at Sweat Equity) introduced me to Glenn a couple of years ago and I've been converted. I don't live in Atlanta but I wish I did so that I could train here every day. I trained with Glenn virtually, from different cities, and have now trained with both he and LaVar in person on visits to ATL. The gym is welcoming and there's plenty of room to move around through different exercises - not to mention some killer art and natural light. I love the variety of each session and I know I'm getting a full-body workout. I feel great afterwards and excited to go back each time. As a mother of a busy toddler and expecting a second one, I found it very hard to consistently make time for fitness. I ran occasionally and did yoga, but it was never enough. Often I went weeks without do anything when work or travel got in the way. Hiring a personal trainer has been one of the best decisions and investments since becoming a mother. Q&A

We first have new clients fill out a questionnaire to to get a history of activity and exercise in their life, and also see if they have had previous injuries or surgeries. From there we perform a fitness assessment to get an accurate view point of the clients strengths and weaknesses. After all the data is collected we can then create a customized workout program for the client.

I recently helped a client lose 120lbs. It took us 18 months, It was a roller coaster process for anyone who has never had a consistent workout program, and a regimented diet. I have to make sure that I create an environment where exercise and choosing healthier food choices becomes habitual.

We love taking on new clients, establishing a customized workout routine, and making sure each client reaches his or her fitness goals.

I have always wanted to help people reach their fitness goals since i was a kid. I interned at Velocity Sports Performance during my sophomore and junior years in undergrad. Next I worked as a personal trainer my senior year at Bally Total Fitness. I received a degree from Hampton University in Health and Physical in Spring of 2010, in Fall of 2010 I received a graduate assistantship to attend Georgia State University and study Exercise Physiology, while at GSU I also worked as a personal trainer at LA Fitness. In March 2013 i began my own fitness Company Sweat Equity Fitness.

Sweat Equity Fitness is a global fitness company, specializing in personal training, couples training, and boot camps. Each trainer has a bachelor's or master's degree in an exercise science-related field.
We make sure we create a personalized fitness platform for each individual client to reach their fitness goals. We even travel with them all over the world during business trips and vacations by training them online through FaceTime and Skype.
