Wow! A great restaurant in Piqua Ohio. Learned about Susie's Big Dipper when reading Eat & Explore Ohio Cookbook &Travel Guide. Susie even included her chicken salad recipe, which is the best chicken salad! It spills out of the sandwich of homemade bread, but there is a side of your choice and a fork. You will eat it all. The restaurant is truely child friendly - games on most tables. A small child's table. All this and too many to count varieties of homemade ice cream. All the sandwiches appear excitingly delicious. Susie’s is the place to go for ice cream, lunch or a light dinner. I seen a few bad reviews and these people are crazy. Everything is made in house which I love and as far as slow service come on. We all have had to wait at some point because of a rush. My family is always treated amazing. The food is awesome and the ice cream is amazing as well. I love coming to Susie's for an occasional lunch. I am always treated very well by employees, and it is usually not too busy during the week. I have had the pulled pork sandwich, which was served dry with bottles of barbecue sauce and mustard. I thought it was good, but smaller than I expected. With the side and chips, I was still satisfied. I have also had and loved the chicken enchilada soup. It has a lot of flavor and is just a little spicy (might be a lot for people who do not usually eat spicy foods). I do wish the quesadilla that comes with it had the same level of flavor, but it is still a nice complement.I also love the ice cream cookie sandwiches for 2.50.
