I recently injured my knee and was in a lot of pain and I was 1 month away from my wedding day!! I was super stressed and scared that I wasn't going to walk on my wedding day, but Dr. Doug made me feel relaxed and not worried and told me I would be fine and walking for my wedding. I found superior physical medicine because they had great reviews on yelp this place is amazing all staff is friendly and always smiling! I recently tore my MCL playing roller derby. My team is currently preparing for playoffs so I needed to get back to playing as quickly as possible. I had been treated at Superior Physical Medicine for a previous injury (high ankle sprain) so I immediately called them to discuss my options. They suggested I try PRP injections. I did a great deal of research and it seemed like a promising treatment for my specific injury. We did three shots over the course of 4 weeks. Combined with a smart therapy and strength training program, I was back on skates and participating in full contact practice in less than 6 weeks. I played a game 7 weeks after injury with no pain and my performance was as strong as ever. I love the staff at Superior Physical Medicine. They understand the needs of the athlete and how important it is for athletes to stay active. I'm hoping I don't get injured again but if I do, I know where I'll go. More...

I had been in chiropractic treatment for MANY years yet remained in constant pain. After review of my case by the team of Doctors and Therapists, they established a treatment plan with a combination of treatments that healed my constant pain within 12 short weeks. It is so great to be out of that constant pain! The staff is very accommodating, kind, caring and they all have various expertise that compliments one another. The staffs willingness to help me heal was evident from the beginning and even grew as time went by. They answered all my questions, of which I had many, with patience and professionalism. I love this place! they treat you like family! I started coming here back in April because of a herniated disc and really bad pain in my left leg and foot. I had a swollen calf and ankle that wouldn't go away along with me having to walk on the side of my left foot. I also couldn't walk up the stairs normally I was using my right foot then dragging my left up after.I was considering surgery before I started here and I'm so thankful I found this place first. As of today I can walk flat on my left foot my swelling has gone away and I can walk up stairs normally. I'm almost running again.Everyone that works at Superior are awesome! they actually care about you and your health. They go beyond the call of duty to help you! Before I went to SPM I could hardly walk. My knees pained so much I couldn't even climb the stairs to my bedroom without using the hand rail to pull myself up. I chose to do both injections (PRP & Supartz) in one week (6 week treatment) as I was impatient for results. I did everything they said and followed up with their physical therapy. I now can walk without pain 80% longer than before. I can climb stairs using the hand rail for support only. My goal was to avoid 2 knee replacements. So far after 6 months now, I have accomplished my goal. I would recommend anyone looking at surgery, try this first. I believe you will have the same results. More...

After a crossfit related injury, I came here to see about physical therapy and find out how bad I was injured. Within a couple weeks and visits, I'm almost entirely pain free and have most my range of motion back. The Drs there listened and were there to help me get back to full health. My shoulders feel stronger and more stable but more importantly, I'm not in constant pain. I've since talked with and did get a food allergy test done as well. Quick and painless, told me somethings I didn't know (such as careful with nightshades) and reinforced what I knew (my body doesn't do well with gluten). More...

Wow. This place is amazing. Got recommended through a friend and came for lingering shoulder pain. After an intro exam and x-ray they told me exactly what the issue was and told me the steps to getting it better. I can't say enough about Dr. Shaevitz and his staff. No matter what the magnitude of your injury may be you WILL be well taken care of at Superior Physical Medicine. I went to Dr. Shaevitz and his staff because I had a badly sprained ankle. Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable there and they fixed my ankle up so that I could get back to my martial arts training . The treatments they did included deep tissue work, cupping and chiropractic adjustment. They weren't stuck in one way of doing things and worked out a treatment plan that was best for my specific situation. I would definitely recommend them for what ails you. More...

This office is a life saver. A few weeks ago, I totally hurt my back picking up my grand daughter and after about a week of intense low back pain, I found this office. I'm so glad that I found them. I'd been to chiropractors before, but what I like about this office is they also have a medical doctor on staff. It took about a week, but my back felt better almost immediately. I love the staff at Superior and the doctors take phenomenal care in my therapy. I suffered with migraines for the last 10 years, and after seeing several doctors and getting limited results, I tried chiropractic care. After 3 sessions, I felt a weight lifted off my shoulders and the tension in my neck started to go away. After 3 weeks, I stopped having migraines. I had a great experience with this clinic. I was in bad car accident a few months ago, and totally had neck pain so bad that I could barely move my head to the side. And it wasn't getting better on it's on so I heard about Superior from a friend who had great results with this office as well. My two young daughters and I were involved in car accident a few months ago. My doctor at Kaiser recommended that we seek Chiropractic care. I was referred to Dr. Kevin Shaevitz of Yorba Linda Wellness Center by a friend. The office is located upstairs at Fanatics gym. The office is very clean and there are several therapy rooms and large area for rehabilitation exercise. The staff there is extremely friendly and professional.  Dr. Shaevitz took good care of both my daughters and I.  He always made sure that we felt comfortable and answered all of our questions.  Dr. Shaevitz is really good with children and adults of course! At this time, my daughters are fully recovered thanks to Dr. Shaevitz. I still have quite a few kinks to work out with my back. I wanted to also mention that he has an excellent team of massage therapists to help with recovery. Sarah is definitely one of my favorites.  She is truly knowledgeable of her work and conscientious to my back pain. Lastly, I have to mention Angela from the front office.  Not only is she nice, she has always been accommodating to my crazy work schedule.  No matter what, she made sure to fit me in on short notice and even at walk-ins.  Everyone at Yorba Linda Wellness Center has helped made my road to recovery very smooth and pleasant.  I highly recommend this place....
